  1. {NARRATION} It all started when Rin came up with the brilliant idea to return to her island home and forego her past. By slaughter those who lived there and ending the reign of The Kaor lord Thanos. A simple task it would seem but who knew what horrors the island held? Rin may have a good idea but it had probably been a while since she'd returned home, things can change in even the smallest of times. The young malpercian girl would lead her charge. Taking a boat to the island most likely. However this Malpercian paradise laid on the very outskirts of Valmasia. The peace barrier was strong here, the storms raging on. Their vessels shakes as sways as wave after wave of large water rocks into the hull, peace barrier lightning crashes all around them a the winds howl threatening to capsize the boat. Through some miracle of the nightmare gods they land safely. Lying now before them was the island Rin had once called home. As soon as they touch land the type of horrors that took place here would be known. For instance the ground is soaked in blood, holes litter the area around the beach. Screams of misery and torment can be heard. Fi one bothered to look into the hole they see a mixture of dead and barely living bodies. Those who were somehow alive looking skeletal in nature and looking up with hollow eyes, permanent looks of pain evident on their face. The beach leads upwards into a clearing that has two paths. The smell of charred flesh and distant screams can be heard from the right path, but the left path lead to the castle where the lord resided. One or the other, but each could be returned to. The choice was theirs to make.
  2.
  3. [12:00:51] What a lovely vacation hotspot. Boy did the edge get toned down in Eternia since Silas left.
  4.
  5. They arrived on edge island, the beach being filled with gruesome adjectives in which Nashandra would be slightly disturbed from. Slightly. They expected it however, this was a Malpercian's home where a Kaor trained her, until some betrayal thing happened, or something.
  6.
  7. Cinging at the mix of odors, sinister miasmas of hate and overall just malefic presence this entire area had as default. Now, they were confronted to two paths. Nashandra would personally recommend flying to get a better look or just walk around the beach, but the homunculus wished to get this done as quickly as possible.
  8.
  9. "Should we be concerned about the screams, or are we just marching, head held high? Oh and ..."
  10.
  11. She'd raise an index finger as they would be deciding the path.
  12.
  13. "Miss Rin, it would be wise to pick on Cinderfall with moderation. They will eventually burn you."
  14. (Nashandra)
  15. [12:01:42] Rin had been on the bow of the boat the entire time; her water magics had helped keep their boat from destrution. The wind and rain whipped her face in defiance of her existence. As they landed upon the grey sands of her homeland, Rin hopped off the boat, seemingly relishing in the feel of the utterly destructive and bleak atmosphere. "Home sweet home." She announced, looking back to the two.
  16.
  17. "And it sounds like they've started a welcome party!" Rin would give a giggle, waving her hand towards the right path. "I think, perhaps we should go enjoy whatever banquet they've decided to present me!"
  18.
  19. Of course she was talking about wholesale slaugher. Obviously her clan didn't even know of her arrival... Yet.
  20. (Rin)
  21. [12:03:24] "I love the smell of dead things in the morning." A slightly sarcastic comment as the red haired man allowed for cackles of hellstorm to emergy around them. Golden hues glanced over the island as they remained in silence. The battle ready form of Indra hovered nearby, its gaze glancing towards things far away. Slowly from the vessel that they took from the island Thom would rise, using his lighting magic to jolt onto the beach and then strech.
  22.
  23. ".. This is where you came from Rin? It is.. Not like I expected." Arms crossed over his chest, as a neutral look wore on his features, although the cackling of eletrcity cackled around him at full force."There seems to be a crossroads forwards." The red haired man noted before waiting for the others to speak.
  24.
  25. Rin's hand pointed to the right path and she spoke of a banquet.. And the golden hued man would give a nod. "Perhaps. Hope they are ready to recieve extra guests as well." His gaze moved towards Nashandra, just giving the silver haired homunculus a nod..
  26.
  27. "Shall we go?"
  28. (Thom M. Takashi)
  29.
  30. {NARRATION} It seems like the right path was the one chosen. A good choice if slaughter was on the mind. The path itself was longer than it seemed when they walked down it. Stretching for endless miles going both uphill and downhill as they walked for what seemed like ever. The more the group walked though the louder the screams would be heard in the distance. The closer they came to the goal the stronger the smell of burnt flesh would become. The close they came to the village the more misery could be felt in the air. An oppressive aura of pure malice and sorrow built up from years of this island being home to the worst types of people. Be Valmasia's worst criminals, or the malpercian clan that now lived here. Or even the witches that resided somewhere, but we will not be meeting them today. The path end, the village can be seen but something seemed to be blocking their way from moving on. It wasn't as if they couldn't just step passed the road and enter the area. But something felt off. Perhaps they should check the area around them before moving on.
  31.
  32. {NARRATION} The path was trapped by some sort of trigger device. Luckily Rin and Nashandra were fast enough to avoid the trigger once spotted but Thom was too slow. He didn't even see the trap. A loud whoosh would be heard as a noxious smell would become present. Thom was lucky enough to avoid the gas right at the last second though. Good for him. The trap now gone the group could see into the area beyond. The village itself was on fire. A great blaze burns tents and buildings alike. A group of people could be seen dancing around the Flames. A loud chant of. "For Lord Thanos" Ringing into the airs of the group. One group splits off and grabs a gang of five gagged and bound children dragging them ever closer to the flame as the chant increase. One last loud cry could be heard as the Flames take on a seemingly dark purple color and the children are hurled inside. Unless stopped by Rin and her gang. On the one hand they weren't heroes. But on the other all these people would make a nice snack if they weren't burnt alive by the flames of sacrifice. What will they do? Let the children burn or give their leader a snack?
  33. [12:25:36] The pathhad been trapped. First Rin's family made them walk a long long way, which made the red haired man frown. But seconds after that.. It appeared there was a loud sound. Thom blinked in confusion, a raise of his brow, mostly focused on the village.. To the extent that he didn't notice Rin and Nashandra begin to move.
  34.
  35. "Something the ma-" Thom would start to ask. And yes, something was very much the matter. Some sort of noxtioius wind would have begun heading towards them. It was seconds away from Thom's face before the red haired man realized. "Oh hey, I should move."
  36.
  37. So he moved. The hellstorm magi teleported away from where he had been standing more towards the other two magi, barely saving himself from the fumes. And in exchange.. He started staring at a burning village of people chanting.
  38.
  39. "Human sacrifice. This reminds me of the time that I saw such in a cave.. " Though he didn't mention anything else about that adventure, at least no for now. He would merely look towards the other two.
  40.
  41. "I say we stop them. We are hunting this Thanos aren't we?"
  42. (Thom M. Takashi)
  43. [12:27:18] Traps. One had to expect these after a certain amount of adventures in dubious islands near the peace barrier. At least their magi powers would allow them to swiftly avoid the trap, and, well, have quite the close call. Especially Thom! You'd think the speediest of the gang would be the best to dodge, but it seemed like those horns were indeed a nuisance!
  44.
  45. "... Thom ..."
  46.
  47. A slight punch on his shoulder was delivered. He couldn't dodge it of course, since he could barely dodge the trap! Hah! It was light, of course.
  48.
  49. "Be careful next time."
  50.
  51. So then they arrived near some sort of Belial-esque fiesta where fires were held and children were rounded up. Interesting ... Until she'd connect the dots and realize they were going to gtet cooked. That didn't sound too pleasant, and the smell of cooking meat wasn't that pleasing either.
  52.
  53. "M'hm. Got it."
  54.
  55. With Thom's suggestion, a tentacle emerged from her back, the pointed at the gang of asswipes. Without any warning, Nashandra would fire a bullet of concentrated energy onto the nape of one of the sacrifice voodoo guys. If it hit, it'd be like a overly violated pinata, with brains.
  56. (Nashandra)
  57. [12:33:16] Thom M. Takashi: (sec need to roll for something oocly
  58. [12:34:59] That had clearly been meant for the Milliet Clan. Oops. Ah, well it was Thom's fault for just keeping walking. At the very least, nothing had come of it, and they certainly didn't require traps by the time they would be through here.
  59.
  60. But then they would come upon the ritual; something that had been very familiar to Rin. Just years ago, she had been a devout of this worship, a leader of the cultists and fanatics as they celebrated their god. It would have been Rin tossing those children into the flames personally. Ah, yet, she didn't particularly feel regret about the lives she had murdered. Only that she had been so much a fool and pawn.
  61.
  62. Her arm tore apart; a cascade of water suddenly surging forth from her body to extinguish the pyre. Well, the element of stealth would be off. Her violet eyes would scan the crowd, and with a wave of her deadly tentacles, she'd let loose a laugh, "I'm home!" She yelled, out, even as the brains of one of the cultists was splattered by Nashandra.
  63.
  64. "And I'm going to enjoy your screams!"
  65. (Rin)
  66. [12:34:59] Tea Orcius: (Narrating)
  67. [12:38:24] ZaZa'Sun: (Psst you're using RP instead of Narrate)
  68. [12:39:15] Tea Orcius: (Kill me)
  69. {NARRATION} Nashandra's tentacle lashes out easily slaughtering the target. Gore would splatter everywhere as he body exploded. The worshippers would turn to Rin and her group only for a bunch to be felled by Rin's sudden cascade of water. The remaining people drop the children one scowling. "Your safe for now" he says kicking one of the kids. With one surge of malice the vile worshippers turn toward the even viler enemies. Angry eyes pierce right at Rin seeming to ignore the other girl and the red haired man. A loud whistle would resound from the group. Suddenly the winds around them would howl, an aura of dark depravity filling the area. A vortex of dark wind would appear before the group and then dissipate. Standing now before them was a man. He pierces the group with his hollow eyes. His arm was that of a demon…perhaps Rin knew this man but one thing was clear. He was a malpercian and he was not happy about this sudden interruption.
  70.
  71. [12:47:47] A sallow figure pervaded by an aura of perversion and degeneracy stands before the trio. Behind those lens, half-lidded violet eyes stare back at them. There's not much to say about him, considering they were most likely very familiar with the occult.
  72.
  73. ZaZa'Sun sighs, adjusting his glasses. He...
  74. ...Really looks like he doesn't want to be here right now.
  75. The mutant hand runs through his hair as he glares at his enviroment with such callous freedom. It was almost irritating how irritated he looked.
  76.
  77. Finally he spoke, a low gravely voice devoid of any grace and aplomb.
  78.
  79. "Uhhhh, I think I have to stop you....Or somethin'.
  80. Uhm. Just as a, just in case...Could you guys, like, turn around and walk away? Ugh, of course not. Forget that. Let me finish this quick so I can nap."
  81.
  82. His right arm draws the blade perched on his back as his mutant arm tries to stifle a yawn.
  83. Violet eyes suddenly flashed a sort of malice very unlike his character, the shroud around him grew more volitile.
  84.
  85. "Don't blame me if you die, or something."
  86. (ZaZa'Sun)
  87.
  88. [12:52:54] "..."
  89.
  90. The red haired man would be silent for a few seconds, watching as the cultists had vanished into a bunch of wind. Now what stood in their way was a malpercian.. One who looked to be rather unhappy with the whole situation. Indra and hellstorm cackled around the red haired man as slowly his eyes narrowed.
  91.
  92. "That arm. I think I want it for expirements." Thom would rather quickly state, his arms uncrossing a little bit as he glanced towards Nashandra and Rin. "Do either of you mind if I take it?" With that said his arm slowly reached back, pulling the glaive off of his back as his golden hues stared towards the Malpercian ahead of them.
  93.
  94. "Do not worry. We will finish this quite quickly.."
  95. (Thom M. Takashi)
  96. [12:53:45] "ZaZa... As pathetic as always." Rin replied, stepping forward. "You were always a lap dog; but a lazy one at best." She commented, her limb's tentacles sharpening themselves, readying to strike at any moment. "Well, you know what they say about the lazy?"
  97.
  98. "They have soft muscles. Easy to pull apart. Delectable. Just like a child." Her violet eyes flashed darkly, and roiling depravity that easily swallowed up ZaZa's came off her childlike body. "You only escaped the pits because you never had to fight me. I'm going to tear you to bits and pieces. A worm like you has always disgusted me."
  99. (Rin)
  100. [12:53:45] Spooky, the fire was off, and now it was all dark. At least they wouldn't have cooked toddlers for today, that was enough to ruin anyone's afternoon! With her headshot being on-point, Nashandra was ready for more. The desire to pew pew was most certainly strong.
  101.
  102. And then one of the more interesting ones imposed himself. A lazy type, definitely not the type to fit the crazy, devoted cultist types. He'd be greeted with nothing but a dull stare from the homunculus.
  103.
  104. "It seems we must terminate this individual, otherwise I'm getting this feeling we will not allow us to finish off that Kaor."
  105.
  106. Hallow words from an entity completely disinterested in the individual before them already. The dreamer's essence would come to coat Nashandra in pure, silver flames. Depravity levels rose exponentially with her appendages all emerging from her lower back.
  107.
  108. Meanwhile, humanoid, grey and even dark-green monstrosities dug out of the earth under her command. All with a clumsy gait, but a particularly revolting appearance.
  109. (Nashandra)
  110.
  111. [13:13:23] The fight was scary. The Malpercian seemed to be quite good at using the winds to deal damage. But between the three who were opposing ZaZa'Sun (fun name) the man would be toppled. Sure, it might have hurt getting hit by his blows, but the same could be said for the hellstorm magi's lighting magic.
  112.
  113. The final hit came in the form of Indra. The lightning elemental's fist would grab ZaZa's body, lifting him into the air and begining to slowly crush him. But Thom moved his arm, causing the elemental to pause. Bringing him slightly closer to the red haired man's face, a grin spread across Thom's lips.
  114.
  115. "Told you it wouldn't take too long. I want the arm."
  116.
  117. Indra nodded. The clench on Zaza changed, only a little bit so that the limb in question would be held outwards. Taking his glaive, Thom would slowly begin to sever the mutated flesh from the purple haired man's body, Indra continuing to crush and grind the Malpercian all the while. Finally with a 'pop' the limb would come off, likely release a small torent of blood.
  118.
  119. "Thank you for your patronage."
  120.
  121. Crack. The final vice grip of Indra clamped down hard, crushing what would have remained of his vitality as Thom held the new treasure. "I can keep it right?"
  122. (Thom M. Takashi)
  123.
  124. {NARRATION} The fight was tough for sure. The malpercian man put up a good spar with a mix of wind and occult magic. But I the end Rin and her group proved too powerful for them man. The battle rages on but Zaza'sun downs. Rest in hell. Thom would be the one to get the last hit so it was Thom who would get the kill. The group of people who had been watching stare on in terror, They knew without their protector present they were doomed. Thom grinds away at the malpercian until the gruesome arm pops off. The red haired man had said he wanted it for experiments after all. There wasn't much else to do here but let the village burn…or give Rin the snack she wanted. Thom would notice on the man a pendant and sword that radiated power. Please Roll to see who gets which.
  125.
  126. [13:31:18] The opponent was slightly underwhelming. Her superior defenses made it easy for Nashandra to stroll by, and simply fire off barrages of bullets and some aggravating screeches laced with her sound magic. Easy peasy, no one was truly at risk, and if they were possibly in peril, her greyrot tree would bless them with a kind, healing gift.
  127.
  128. With the Malpercian defeated however, Nashandra would cross her arms upon witnessing Thom's initiative. An 'ahem' would echoe through the new area, devoid of cultists.
  129.
  130. "Thom ... You know what I said about needing a Malpercian's arm, right?~"
  131.
  132. She chimed, trying to guilt her lover into, well, providing! Thom did also get he weapon, after all!
  133. (Nashandra)
  134. [13:32:09] "Well then, now that we've settled that..." The developing Malpercian Girl would grin malevolently as she turned towards the crowds. The defender defeated; her monstrous limb would quickly begin snatching people by their legs, including the children. It was the easiest way to prevent escapes after all. One by one, the gruesome appendage would start dragging victims into it's maw, all the while, Rin would giggle.
  135.
  136. Well, you know, unless someone decided to stop her and all that. But the group knew what they had come here to do. "There will be plenty of arms to go around. Many more Malpercians reside here. We're going to kill every last one of them."
  137. (Rin)
  138. [13:33:00] Nashandra: I'm only interested in strong ones.
  139. [13:33:00] Nashandra: This one seemed to be a ring leader, as such, potent enough.
  140. [13:33:00] Terror. It showed on the people's face after the Malpercian was grinded down into nothing, and his arm stolen. A golden hue stared on the apendage silently for the moment, looking it over as he also would rip a sword and a pendant from the man's crushed body. A grin spread over his features, twirling the ancient looking sword in the air a couple of times.
  141.
  142. "I like this. I think I'll keep it." Thom commented, putting the blade onto his back next to where his glaive laid. For a few seconds he considered using it for the remainder of the time here but.. It would be best to get used to how the weapon was weilded first.
  143.
  144. A glance was given to the women, the pendant outstreached to both of them, letting them choose to do what they desired with that.
  145.
  146. With all said and done though Thom heard Nashandra speak about needing an arm. A glance was once more made towards it as Thom thought.. Before placing the thing on his back. "We should focus on the remainder of this adventue. You'll get an arm when we get back." Thom simply stated.
  147.
  148. With that said, Rin appeared to be rounding up the Malerpcians, and Thom wouldn't exactly stop her.
  149. (Thom M. Takashi)
  150. [13:33:52] Nashandra: Look at you being all bossy. <*Cough*>
  151.
  152. [13:34:43] Thom M. Takashi: If we find a stronger one you can have that -nod- If not you'll get this one. I only want you to have the best.
  153. [13:34:43] Nashandra: Haha ...
  154. [13:34:43] Nashandra whispers something.
  155. [13:35:34] Thom M. Takashi whispers something.
  156. [13:35:34] Nashandra: <*She whispers as people get slaughtered and stuff. She'd even give him a peck. Wow*>
  157.
  158. [13:36:25] Thom M. Takashi: -so much whispering and flirting right next to bloody carnage. and kisses too!-
  159. [13:37:16] Rin: <*NOT CARING EATING*>
  160. {NARRATION} After all was said and done, the battle was won and Rin got her snack. The whole are fills with screams as entire swaths of people are devoured by the tentacles of the growing malpercian girl. They would discuss among themselves what to do for a moment before handing out loot and what not from the man's now lifeless body. But really all there was left to do was head back. The village lead nowhere else, the people were dead. The ground soaked in blood and the air unnatural quite now that the screams were gone. It seemed coming here was a good idea as it at least served to satiate Rin's hunger at least momentarily, if such a thing was even possible. It seemed though they should keep moving forward. The path back lead to the left path that in turn lead to the castle. Thanos awaited.
  161.
  162. {NARRATION} The group would head back toward the beach. The left path was then taken. Unlike the winding paths of the right path that lead to the village this left path was pretty straight forward. They would walk and after only about a half hour they would reach the castle. The large building loomed above them, a testament to both Thanos' power over these people, and his own overinflated ego. Waltzing up to the castle would prove to be a stupid move however. For a few dozen or so Greater and Giga Yokai's guarded the gate. An easy task for this gang to handle surely but still an obstacle non the less. They would have to slaughter these beast if they wanted to enter the castle and end Thanos once and for all. Your move Rin and company.
  163.
  164. [13:56:03] Hopefully that Thanos guy didn't have some glove that so happened to need five gems or something ...
  165.
  166. They moved forward, or rather, back to where they started since this whole detour was just a salue to the weirdo Malpercians living in the area. And a snack break for out gluttonous friend here.
  167.
  168. "Oh look Thom, cute Yokai. Think I can make their ears explode if the tentacles screech hard enough?"
  169.
  170. She chuckled before setting her hands on her hips. A bunch of fodder, all of them came to have a piece of the squad. This was going to be easy, especially with how they dispatched that Malpecian so quickly.
  171.
  172. Appendages emerged, mouthes coating the silver members as they started to blather nonesense until the order would be given to just scream. Scream as hard as they could at the direction of the Yokai.
  173. (Nashandra)
  174.
  175. [13:56:54] To the castle. With the new sword on his back next to his glaive the red haired man would have stayed near the back of the group. Golden hues glanced to the left and the right in silence, hellstorm cackling still and Indra darting to hte left and the right. Finally Thom turned, glancing towards the rest of his companions.
  176.
  177. "Thats a big castle. Think we're going to get to burn it down?" The red haired man smirked as he spoke, fire already begining to be generated as he thought of arson. Though.. It was now that he noticed the yokai that would be in the way of proceeding.
  178.
  179. "Ready to take them down?" he would be quick to inquire to Rin and Nashandra.
  180. (Thom M. Takashi)
  181.
  182. [14:00:19] "I don't mind burning it down." Rin commented, with a wave of her hand. "But I'd prefer collapsing his ruins beneath the ocean. But I don't think any of us are earth magi; fire will have to do." Ah, oh well. Rin merely licked her lips as he eyes came upon the swarm of Yokai, continuing to lead the group towards the castle.
  183.
  184. She could remember each of it's halls. She could remember the pits; the statues, the ornate and morbid decor. This was her home after all. She had never envisioned being the one to destroy it back then. She had always thought, that if an end were to come to Thanos, it would be at the hands of those heretical witches to the north. But now?
  185.
  186. Rin could only see that this was nothing but karma, built up over the centuries of the Kaor Lord's rule. She strode forth towards the horde without hesitation, a walking visage of retribution.
  187.
  188. "I'm coming, Thanos."
  189. (Rin)
  190.
  191. {NARRATION} As expected the Yokai guards were no match for the massive combined power of the group. Guard after guard fell to the power of the group before them. But quite a ruckus had been caused. Surely those inside the castle had been alerted to the presence to these invaders. In fact the castle entrance would open up, the door lading into what appeared to be endless darkness. It was as if something inside was taunting Rin…as if it was saying. "Come for me then child". Once they stepped inside the castle they would see that the darkness was really only an illusion to deter anyone who might want to come inside. For the room before them was actually a rather small hallway. Three door aid before them. One moved to the next floor, who knew what lay behind any one of them really? Except maybe Rin who would probably know the castle layout like no other. Inside knowledge and what not.
  192. [14:07:08] Tea Orcius: (I'e got to send you soemthing on discord rq Rin)
  193. [14:11:24] Tea Orcius: (oh my...*three doors stood befoer them* gosh dange me)
  194. [14:13:07] "Before we move for Thanos, we should secure the artifacts." Rin would speak, her violet eyes tracing the familiar shapes of every inch of the grand entrance. There was nostalgia setting in on her; mixing with her deviant hunger. It was an awful feeling, and she knew it would only truly be satisfied by ending the life of that dreadful Kaor. The false god. The one who had ruined what greatness her clan truly could have been.
  195.
  196. She'd point towards the nearest door. "This one leads to his treasures. Those that have been offered up to him. Expect resistance."
  197.
  198. With that, Rin's Malpercian arm would extend towards the door, before ripping both panels off of it with immense force. She was clearly not toying around with her desire to destroy every bit of these memories that bound her to her past of slavery. This was the beginning of a new Rin. One who would be a Goddess in her own right.
  199. (Rin)
  200. [14:15:40] Death, Death, Death.
  201.
  202. Yokai after yokai hit the floor, skewered by hellstorm as the red haired man continued walking forwards towards the doors of the castle. Dark flames covered the earth, dragging whatever he slayed to the depths below. His glaive cut through them like paper and before long.. All that was before them was the doorway which opened.
  203.
  204. "So far so good.." Thom would have commented, glancing around before hearing Rin's voice. The sound of treasure.. Very quickly stole his attention and he would have nodded. "Resistaince. That means strong people, likely more Malpercians. Lets go."
  205.
  206. The glaive was at the ready and Indra practically howled in delight as Thom followed after Rin, though making sure also not to leave Nashandra's side.
  207. (Thom M. Takashi)
  208.
  209. [14:15:40] Spooky darkness, it was as if this wasn't intimidating anymore. The churning horrors that ruled in this land had easily desensitized the gang by then, and no hesitation was made when they were borderline invited to step into the castle where they would have their showdown with the big bad.
  210.
  211. Wait, no, the darkness was actually a prank. Instead they'd move to the next floor, and Rin would definite come to use here. Her appetite was somewhat satiated, as such she was likely in a good mood. Excellent.
  212.
  213. "Yes, let us sack this beast before slaughtering him. There is no shame in adding salt to the wound of a Yokai. They only exist for us to slaughter them, and for you to feast."
  214.
  215. Nashandra chuckled as the emotion she'd attempt to add in her voice seemed rather unnatural.
  216.
  217. "Let's go."
  218. (Nashandra)
  219.
  220. {NARRATION} Rin would indicate which room lead them to the treasure of Thanos and they all agreed to raid him before they moved to slaughter the foul Kaor. Rin would attempt to rip the door from its hinges but fortunately Thom and Nashandra would both spot the trap rune. Rin wasn't so lucky however her rage to blow the door up getting in her way of looking. The Rune explodes in a burst of power. Thom was lucky enough to avoid it but barely. Rin was caught right in the blast and Nashandra too was not fast enough. A powerful shockwave of some type of force explodes outward from the trap Rin overcoming those unlucky enough to not avoid its power. Nashandra: Temp nerf of -3 vit Rin: 3: Perm nerf of -1 vit as a very weak wave hits
  221.
  222. [14:31:53] Rin would grit her teeth as the oppressive aura of malice washed over her. It passed, seemingly without harm, and Rin smirked. "Is that the best you have, Thanos? To think you claim to be a God." Rin would giggle as she continued to stride forth, the trap not even phasing her in reality. Those sort of magics had little effect on a creature like herself. Perhaps Thanos had just never fathomed that one of his own would one day turn against him?
  223. (Rin)
  224. [14:31:53] Tea Orcius: Or that -10 madam perm i wanted to dish out <..>)
  225. [14:31:53] These people really do love their traps...
  226.
  227. The red haired man would have been wary after the first one on the trail. Following after Rin he would have seen a rune on the door. It appeared however that Rin however did not notice it. The red haired man jolted backwards very quickly, avoiding the expolsion but just barely.
  228.
  229. "... Alright. When we leave this castle is definately going to burn down. Does it have a basement? I want to light a fire in the basement. Maybe plant a dozen of those runes in there. See how the kaor likes that. Oh wait. He'll be dead."
  230.
  231. A narrowing of the red haired man's eyes just a little bit as once more he grabbed his glaive.
  232. (Thom M. Takashi)
  233.
  234. [14:33:36] Oh boy another trap. Well, she'd notice it quick enough! A tentacle would emerge as a reflex, covering the homunculus as the blast radius included her frame! Most of it would be eaten by the appendage, but still, Nashandra would take some shrapnel onto her arm and shoulder!
  235.
  236. "Tch ..."
  237.
  238. Setting herself straight, her annoyed stare would direct itself toward Rin.
  239.
  240. "Are we going to find any treasure, soon? Or should we expect more pranks of the sorts?"
  241.
  242. Someone was certainly grumpy.
  243. (Nashandra)
  244.
  245. {NARRATION} The room they enter is full of treasure hoarded by Thanos over many years of life. The group would rifle among the stuff. 1-10: Pendant that bestows +6 water damage at the cost of -4 mdam 11-20: Pendant that grants +8 dark damage at the cost of the same -4 mdam 21-30: Bag of 200k crowns 31-40: Bag of 500k crowns 41-50: Orichalcum bar x 1 ingots 51-60: Mithril x 1 ingots 61-70: Pendant that bestows +8 water damage and +3 force for the cost of -2vit 71-80: Pendant that bestows +8 Dark damage and +3 force at the cost of -2vit 8-100: Your choice
  246.
  247. [14:45:32] Money!
  248.
  249. Not sure why a kaor yokai choose to collect coins, but Thanos had quite the amount of crowns. The red haired man would look them over, grabbing a small back of them from the treasure room silenlty. He wasn't really glancing at all that was around but he seemed not exactly interested in the pendants or metals.
  250.
  251. This would do well enough. It was much like a dragon trying to build their hoard a little. "You guys find neat stuff?" The jingle of coins from his pocket likely able to be heard.
  252. (Thom M. Takashi)
  253. [14:46:24] {Item} You picked up Dark Pendant(Greater).Dropped by ZaZa'Nul.
  254. [14:48:06] Rin would lift a small pendant, enchanted with shadows. She'd smile, and immediately toss it to the fellow occultist that was Thom. "This should do you quite well, I think?" The Malpercian Child didn't have much need for such a trinket herself; her dark powers already manifested in a way far superior to what the small pendant could provide. But still, the charm might help someone of lesser blood than herself.
  255. (Rin)
  256. [14:48:57] {Item} You dropped Dark Pendant(Greater).
  257. [14:48:57] They found stuff. Wee! Nashandra herself would nab a pendant she absolutely did not need. But then again, she didn't really need any of those things! Oh well, this one looked pretty, so she'd make due with it. Though come to think of it, it did look a lot like the one Rin took!
  258.
  259. Yawning, she'd look over at the rest of the group.
  260.
  261. "Well, it seems like Miss Rin had got a nice catch for you indeed. I am but stuck with what she has already acquired. I suppose I'll keep it as a souvernir?"
  262.
  263. Pocketed.
  264. (Nashandra)
  265.
  266. {NARRATION} The group would finish raiding the hoard…perhaps finding something of use or not….However items were items and could always be used or smelted down into something else. Rin would guide the team back out and toward the third door that she knew lead upwards. Mayhaps though not. It seemed like one of the members of their group might have a devious plan. The second door leads downward into the cells. A few destitute humans lay inside. Mostly bones and evidence of a slaughter. Gore covered every wall, massive amounts of bones just sat in piles, desecrated corpses where present, the few remaining alive looked like they had just given up. They huddled in the corners like lambs to the slaughter not even looking over when Rin and her gang entered. No moans or wails, these people knew that one way or another they would be someone's feast. Oddly enough there was no guards. What would the group do now?
  267. [15:00:03] "A fire needs fuel."
  268.
  269. The red haired man walked into the cellblock, glancing left and right as he would have thought. There was a lot of gore everywhere, bones, some living.. He supposed that he could just burn the people, but his morality hadn't gotten to that bad point yet. Instead he continued to move down the cells.
  270.
  271. "Maybe there's some dead bodies in here. We're going to want to pile them up or something. Find ways to make this entire place catch fire."
  272.
  273. That being said.. Even if he insisted on finding fuel first Thom was impatient. The red haired man would have created a cackling orange inferno and attempted to set alight anything, aside from the living, in his way hoping that the flames would spread.
  274.
  275. "Worst comes to worst and nothing lights.. We can destroy this place after we kill 'Thanos'"
  276. (Thom M. Takashi)
  277.
  278. [15:01:45] Spooky cells. Nothing too disconcerting next to what they had seen. The cultists did take it for the most awful individuals they could encounter. The people huddled up in a corner only managed to grasp a whole three seconds of the homunculus' attention before she'd peer into some other direction.
  279.
  280. "See anything, Thom?"
  281.
  282. She'd inquire, just before stepping closer to her lover, hand slowly rising to gently caress the young man's shoulder. It slid down slightly, asking for him to basically hold her's. Yeah, he was trying to be a pyromaniac, but they didn't have any pressure when it came to time.
  283.
  284. "We're not really in a hurry. Let's just look around, if we can plant enough runes, we just smash the foundations, and voila."
  285. (Nashandra)
  286.
  287. [15:04:19] "Or you could use the living prisoners as bombs. They don't have much purpose aside from that. Their mana would fuel your spell." Rin suggested off-handedly. Whoo boy, she didn't even seem to register that one might consider that some sort of atrocity, especially to the man who had formerly been such a hero in Cinderfall.
  288.
  289. But she didn't care. She was a Malpercian. Acts like that? They were the norm for her. It was just a stepping stone towards the destruction of Thanos and everything they had ever been. Wiping them off the face of Eternia was her motivation in the end.
  290. (Rin)
  291. [15:05:10] Tea Orcius: (Go ahead an rp putting runes on the bodies or what not Thom)
  292. [15:08:35] Tea Orcius whispers something.
  293. [15:09:26] Shivers.
  294.
  295. Even if Thom teamed up with Vampires, fought for the side of the destruction of Cinderfall, claimed that he wanted to see people who made him mad burn on several- The point was he had a moral compass but wow his moral compass sucks. I can't even defend this guy.
  296.
  297. "Hm.. I don't care for using them for bombs. I've not practiced siphoning magic in such a way." The red haired man admitted before looking over to Nashandra and giving a nod. "And very well. Lets make runes and smash the foundations then."
  298.
  299. Around.. A good chunk of time would likely be spent doing such, Thom not really being the most materful at runes. Still the red haired man would have eventually extched perhaps.. A dozen? Exploding runes along the supports. They would be set to go off in an hour or two's time, fueled by mana he stored in it until then.
  300.
  301. "Ready to move on-" Thom stopped. A glance was made at the imprisoned, using the sword to slice through a lock. that might have prevented the prisoners from escaping. "Alright, now lets move on. I'd give it a coin's flip chance if the prisoners will survive now."
  302. (Thom M. Takashi)
  303.
  304. {NARRATION} It seemed they were leaving quite the nasty surprise for Thanos…a last laugh in his face after his slaughter. Good game team bad. It was time to move though. There was only one thing left to do. The third door. The gang heads back out into the hallway. They open the door to reveal a grand oak staircase. With no way to go but back or up they would head upwards. The stairs were elegantly carved and inlaid with the faces of screaming children and other thigs that would bring a retched creature joy. The stairs open up into a much larger, and more grandly decorated hallway. This one stretches out more and is filled with golden walls and other expensive designs. It seemed Thanos really liked stroking that ego. Plus the fact the walls were almost shiny enough to see your own reflection on…a vain Yokai? There are four doors here. (I'll just post what Rin knows here so It's easier.) Rin herself would know that. It is door one that leads upwards this time. Door two is another prison Door Three is rather drab and contains a library full of books. (WINK) Door Four was likely a trap because Rin wasn't quite sure where it lead.
  305.
  306. [15:38:27] "The archives," Rin would point out, the door of the library's passages looming. "That's a stop for certain. Then, there's another prison. We could plant further runes in there if you wish, Thom. The other door is a staircase that should lead us closer to the throne..." She paused, frowning as if disconcerted. Her eyes had fallen upon the fourth passage. "I don't know about this door. It seems a recent addition. It may be wise to explore it..."
  307. (Rin)
  308.
  309. [15:41:00] Thom remained silent, glancing at the four doors that soon came into view. This lavish vain room.. wasn't really doing it for him. His gloden hues wandered until he heard Rin speak then would very quickly given the Malpercian a nod. "In that case, I would agree. Lets stop in the archives first. The runes in the prison should be.. Good enough. Then.. A mysterious door sounds like fun."
  310. (Thom M. Takashi)
  311.
  312. {NARRATION} Once they opened the door to the archives it would seem that the drab door was a deterrent. For inside there were several rows of large grandeur cases filled to the brim with books Hundreds of books lay scattered throughout the room , the cases lined with jewels and other expensive things. The rather large room was quite cold, a slight draft coming from somewhere. Some of the tomes were obviously old and the titles could not be read, they collected dust. Others till were newer, they looked barely used. If the group looked hard enough who knew what they might find hidden within the many cases. 1-20 rolls please.
  313.
  314. {NARRATION} The group would continue their search of the archives at first finding really nothing of interest. Most of the tomes they looked at appeared to be the older ones and flipping through the pages actually made them crumble to dust. It would seem that perhaps moving on and not wasting time would be a a good idea, there was still a Kaor Yokai to slay after all. The group was just about to lose hope when Thom stumbled into a dark leather bound book. The cover was plain except for one thing. A glowing rune that let out waves of darkness as if cursed or something. Flipping through the pages would quickly reveal that the tome was ancient techniques describing the ways of malpercian necromancy.
  315.
  316. [15:55:31] Well, aint this fancy?
  317.
  318. Looking through the archives was a slight bore, at first not seeing anything of promise. The red haired man walked by, yawning as he saw the books, his index finger gently pouring over the sides of the leatherbound volumes.. Until.. He noticed one was glowing.
  319.
  320. Backing up slightly the golden hues glanced at the book once more. A hand moved forwards, pulling the book off the shelf and opening it to flip through its contents slightly. It appeared to be on.. Necromancy? Interesting.
  321.
  322. "Rin. Found something." The man called over, closing the book and having it held out for the woman to take.
  323. (Thom M. Takashi)
  324.
  325. [15:59:47] Rin would place the glasses on her face, being momentarily dumbfounded that she actually apparently had needed glasses. Thanos' healthcare was quite lacking; and Rin's eyesight was now a perfect 20/20. Maybe now she'd start recognizing people?
  326.
  327. Either way, she'd move over to Thom, and smile quite deviously as she took the tome from him. "Well it's a good thing I found these, because I've got some light reading to do. This book has very powerful rituals in it, dating back to even the progenitor himself. Kudlak Malpercius' art of creating undead from the Malpercian limb, and making them quite a bit more fierce than the average skeleton at that."
  328.
  329. "Yes... Quite the find." She'd peruse the book before closing it. "I'll definitely be studying that later."
  330. (Rin)
  331.
  332. {NARRATION} It would seem they finally found something amongst the castles stock that interested Rin. Who knew what kind of evil a girl like her could bring with a book as powerful as that one. Only time would tell it seemed. So the group backed out once more, retracing their steps. It seems their goal was the mysterious fourth door that Rin had no idea about. Perhaps mysterious doors weren't such a great option but hey too late to turn back now. Upon reaching the door perhaps the group would stop to examine it first before blindly charging into the unknown. One could only hope that they would be smarter than that, then again they were here for one purpose…perhaps logic wasn't a thing. Once more roll of 1-20 please.
  333.
  334. {NARRATION} Each and every one of them failed to spot that the door was a false to lead them away from the real door. Another trap meant to harm any enemy that might try and make their way through the castle. The trap explodes but Thom seems to be the only one to avoid the power exploding from the false door. Nashandra is hit but she seems to be able to just tank whatever had happened. Rin wasn't so lucky. The power of the trap rocks over her body. Rin: 1 ic year nerf of -5vit as your body is littered in weird glowing burns that will fade after year tick.
  335.
  336. [16:18:33] More traps. Hurray. And she ate it, like the neries wannabe she was. Tentacles flung around, taking in the bulk of the blast and allowing the homunculus to recover without any issue.
  337.
  338. "... Alright, let's just kill the Kaor. I'm not dealing with another one of these absurd traps."
  339.
  340. Eyes squinting at the remaining doors, Nashandra stuck close to her lover's side, visually discontent with the recent events.
  341. (Nashandra)
  342. [16:18:33] "A new addition.."
  343.
  344. Thom said, a slight raise of his brow as he approached the door. Given this was a castle such things must have been hard to make weren't they? It was at this time that Thom would have begin think.. And promptly he was the only one to avoid the power from the exploding door via activating the dark barier spell and using hellstorm to teleport back..
  345.
  346. ".. For a guy with such a vain castle this Thanos guy really enjoys blowing up his own stuff.." The red haired man said, a quirk of his eyebrow. "You both alright?"
  347.
  348. "And yeah. We should really end him."
  349. (Thom M. Takashi)
  350.
  351. [16:21:07] Rin stood her ground against the force of the trap, once more taking the brunt of it. Even as the wounds appeared across her body, her Malpercian heritage began to heal what trauma had occured. The pain was real, but she had faced greater adversity before. If Thom watched, he would be granted a vision of the future that awaited him should he adopt that limb. The horrid screeching of souls came from Rin's mutant arm as she drew upon them; the depraved nature of her technique beyond even the horrors of Necromancy.
  352.
  353. Truly, if you were killed by a Malpercian, there was no rest for your soul. And one who wielded such power was beyond any redemption. Would Thom decide to walk such a path in the future?
  354.
  355. "I think Thanos was expecting an attack from the Milliet Clan; this rune habit of his is certainly new..."
  356.
  357. (Rin)
  358.
  359. [16:27:05] Thom M. Takashi: .. Lets go punch Thanos in the face.
  360. [16:27:05] Rin: ... Agreed.
  361.
  362. {NARRATION} It would seem that the group would finally give on their quest of searching the castle. Growing weary of the traps and false leads. The only really useful thing on this floor had been the tome. Unless they had decided to go down into the other cells and set up more runes to blow this castle to bits. Bu alas they did not. They would pick the door Rin indicated as the stairs. They once more found themselves traversing a rather extravagant set of spiral stairs leading ever upward in their quest to slay the Kaor. The stairs finally ended opening up into one thing. A large room. Set at the end of the room was one thing. A wide oak door. It was the entrance to the throne room proper where Thanos would lay in wait for his prey to enter and try to kill him. But things weren't that simple. For one thing stood in their way. A lone malpercian guard.
  363.
  364. [16:37:20] "I wonder how Thanos will like fire in his face."
  365.
  366. The red haired man said, crackling his knuckles as he made his way up the staricase silently. Golden hues glanced ever forwards as the man's hellstorm cackled increasing in intensity. They went forwards more and more, also looking like they were going to start skipping.. Until he stopped.
  367.
  368. "There's someone in the way. There's always someone in the-"
  369.
  370. And then a grin cracked over his face.
  371.
  372. "Nashandra, this one has the arm too.. I think we'll take that."
  373.
  374. The glaive was preped, pointed towards the ground in case either Rin or Nashandra wished not to fight.. But he really hoped that they had his same bloodlust.
  375. (Thom M. Takashi)
  376.
  377. [16:39:53] So they made it to the peak. Well, almost. They still had a bit more to do as they would meet the oak door, guarded by a Malpercian. Man, they were going to have enough arms to make a new trading card game. Nashandra set herself in attack position as the inevitable was going to occur.
  378.
  379. "Yes, we're taking it. It seems ripe as well. We'll see who gets what in the end, however."
  380.
  381. She grinned, as the nerebian essence remained prevailant around her silhouette while tentacles emerged, ready to taste the blood of that depraved interloper serving as an obstacle.
  382.
  383. Once again, Greyrot emerged from the bricked floors of the castle, all hungering for mana, for carnage, for the safety of their overlord.
  384. (Nashandra)
  385.
  386. [16:41:36] "Oh. I should ave known. One piece of trash is never enough; you have to take out the whole bin." Rin would speak, crossing her arms as they came into view. "ZaZa'Nul, right? We've already killed your brother. Do you think you will fair any better?"
  387.
  388. It appeared Rin was quite familiar with the two major Malpercians they had encountered. And she didn't have a high opinion of either of them. "Well, it would be against the teaching of Thanos to offer you mercy, wouldn't it?" Rin would giggle with delight, her tentacles spreading to lash at the air in hunger. "I wonder... How your screams will sound?"
  389. (Rin)
  390. [16:47:34] Tea Orcius: (That's adorable)
  391. [16:50:08] ZaZa'Nul would set up against the walls of the castle. There were no others with him. There were none needed. In his mind, he was one of the most powerful Malpercians on the island. That was why he was the only one needed to guard the castle... His spear would set by his side. Nothing special. Didn't need anything special. Any fights he got in, they'd be over too quickly if he had anything special. He preferred them drawn out. He liked his enemies to scream...
  392.
  393. And just as he was thinking about that, here they'd come. Enemies. Food, even. He'd stretch the fingers out on his mutated arm, calmly waiting for them to finish with whatever taunting they wanted to. As they did, he'd flick his sunglasses up, giving them a rather bored look.
  394.
  395. "You did, did you? A shame... He was lazy and weak. Kinda wanted to consume him myself. But, guess that you handled that for me."
  396.
  397. A cocky grin would cross his face. He'd look both Rin and Nashandra over. A quick nod of his head. Thom... would be ignored.
  398.
  399. "Y'know Rin. You and your friend here, real nice bits of flesh. I don't think we really need to fight, do we? I think we could take this somewhere else, maybe to my chambers. Personally prefer my meals without cloth anyways."
  400.
  401. So, he was a leech... But one with a certain something about him. He'd wave his hand, and the two of them would feel a sort of... pull, towards him. No doubt giving in to his offer was certain death... But perhaps they could resist his pull.
  402. (ZaZa'Nul)
  403.
  404. {NARRATION} Zaza'nul was indeed quite the handsome man. In some weird way that was. His pull was always very alluring, though not alluring enough for Rin to drop pants right then and there. She wasn't stupid t walk into a death trap over some stupid lustful pull being emanated from some malpercian. Especially one that she despised. However something about him made Rin not want to fight with all her hate. She would find herself….distracted. 3 Round rpb Rin sits the first round out as she finds herself unable to bring herself to fight the man. First round is a balance test as usual. Good luck to the two remaining who now had to face the very confident Malpercian man by themselves.
  405.
  406. [16:59:31] RIn would appear to shake off whatever charm had been placed upon her, and there was a sudden malice tangible in the air. "I will not stand for petty tricks, you worthless worm!" She roared, as her intent to kill practically was visible around her. Oh man, ZaZa was in for a bad day now...
  407. (Rin)
  408.
  409. [17:14:01] What a revolting figure they were confronted to. One that attempted to have some sort of pull on Nashandra, with allusions to actually sleeping with her. The homunculus certainly felt offended by such a trashy proposition, enough so to give the Malpercian a particularly murderous glare. The humanoid monstrosities following her closely would all appear agitated as this attempt at enthralling occured.
  410.
  411. Nashandra resisted, however, and went on to confront the menace with Thom by her side. It did not take long for Rin's own will to follow suit and overcome the challenge.
  412.
  413. The battle was fierce, with her allies being targeted heavily over herself for reasons she did not know. Nonetheless, the homunculus pushed through. The tips of her tentacles lit in a blue, blinding light, before firing a barrage of energy blasts. They'd target his lower joints, and eventually disable him. Poor Zaza would be left to crawl on the ground.
  414.
  415. "You sought a good time, Mister ... Whatever. It so happens that I may have a couple of friends who are still ... Exploring that same side of their identity. And by friends, I mean these fire gentlemen."
  416.
  417. Two Greyrot humanoid monstrosities emerged behind her, both around six feet in height and just as gross as every other fungus monster in her arsenal. Added to that, a few extra appendages for good measure.
  418.
  419. One of her tentacles would swiftly wrap around the Malpercian's arm, however, and with a violent yank and uncontrolled squeezing, would rip out the mutated member, and leave quite the messy stump.
  420.
  421. "Oh and ... They are quite unconventional in their practices. That stump can bring out the best in them."
  422.
  423. The rotted monsters approached the corrupt male. He would be dragged into a nearby corridor, out of their views. He could breathe, he could blink, he could cry. But no one was going to help him.
  424.
  425. "I believe we are done here."
  426. (Nashandra)
  427.
  428. {NARRATION} The malpercian was stronger than this brother had been. But not strong enough it seemed. Not even when confronted with only Thom and Nashandra. His charm didn't last long on Rin either and soon she rejoined the fight. After that it was only a matter of time before Zaza'nul fell in combat. The battle was over. The being known as Nashandra took the kill summoning in two monstrous greyrot things. The creatures drag the man away do unthinkable things. Which left only one thing. The group would enter the room. The throne room was instantly a pale of despair. Tortured bodies littered the ground showing signs of obvious abuse. A decimated Ookami corpse was waiting for Rin….another snack. There a few people shackled to the wall. A few just lay on the ground in balls. Thanos awaited on the throne. Large stones laid behind him, glowing with elemental power.
  429.
  430. [17:30:14] Sheer bloodlust and murderous intent could be felt radiating from Thom's form. The red haired man moved forwards and forwards, cackling hellstorm and anger likely felt in every step. It appeared that the attempts of the Malpercian had only served to anger the red haired womanizer, and likely would have spent a lot of time torturing the man, but Nashandra had a better idea. The two monsterous greyrot creatures carried him away, but Thom's anger was not yet satisfied.
  431.
  432. "No one tries to take what is mine.."
  433.
  434. The red haired man said. While he didn't seem particuarlly greedy.. When he viewed something as his he was very likely to defend it. By the appearance , Indra was the same way, cackling malevolently as the glaive scrapped and dug into the floor underneath him in his right hand. His left?
  435.
  436. Intertwined with Nashandra's though perhaps most likely out of view of most. He kept simply moving forwards, up until the point his eyes glanced towards Thanos and his infitni- er, elemental stones.
  437.
  438. "This the guy we're ending?"
  439. (Thom M. Takashi)
  440.
  441. [17:33:39] Rin didn't care for snacks. Rin didn't care about that sort of trivial nonsense. She didn't care about the obvious stones laid out. No. Her eyes were for Thanos alone. In them, he would see that she gave him only a gaze of pure hunger. This is what the girl had come for. Ever since the Snake had first tempted her away from Thanos' indoctrination. Ever since Valentross had elevated her above the status of a slave.
  442.
  443. Ever since she had arrived at Valmasia and tasted freedom.
  444.
  445. Thanos should have kept Rin close. He could have kept her collared then. Even if she had grown as terribly mighty as she had, there was a chance he could have kept her tame. But for shunning her? For fearing her? That had turned him into the single most delicious meal possible for Rin.
  446.
  447. Every inch of her body screamed at her to devour him. Her mind could only focus on swallowing the flesh of this Kaor Lord. For what better meal than the 'God' that she had once worshipped?
  448.
  449. Thom's voice snapped her back to the realm of coherent thought. "Yes." She said swiftly, before returning to Thanos. "Thanos! You know why I am here! You betrayed me! Used me as a slave, and stagnated my family! We were meant for so much more, and the world you let me loose upon showed me that! Everything that you are... Today it disappears! That's the price you pay for defiling a Daughter of Mordred!"
  450.
  451. Never before had she spoke in such a way to Thanos. Just her words alone felt empowering. Her jaw hung loose, and her tongue swelled with saliva. It would only be a matter of time.
  452. (Rin)
  453.
  454. [17:49:52] "Oh?"
  455.
  456. Thanos would look up from his throne, clearly unimpressed. He'd look down upon the Malpercian and their allies. He found them... Pathetic. And yet he had still chosen to show them kindness. In fact, he'd even left them a meal.
  457.
  458. "Was my offering not good enough? It's hard to find good Ookami. She's from the Wychwood. Strong, resilient. She was the best of her tribe, I'm told. Nothing but the best for the returning whelp."
  459.
  460. His tone would grow harsh, as he stood up from the throne. Occultic tainted tentacles of water stretching from his back, and around. The sheer aura of power and depravity around him would be enough to knock even Rin off of her feet.
  461.
  462. "You, and your people are nothing without me! Without me, your nothing but poor imitations. Pathetic cultists who find themselves wishing they could reach the level of godhood that I have! I brought your people up! I gave them power, purpose! That purpose, is to fuel my ascension to the divine!"
  463.
  464. A quick stomp of his foot would send a shockwave through the ground. The stones behind him would light up, bathing him in a powerful glow. Strengthening him.
  465.
  466. "You, Rin, are nothing but a child. Do you find yourself better then me? Your kin? Even someone as pitiful as ZaZa'Nul did not require allies. And yet you stand here so afraid of death that, you couldn't even find proper allies, Malpercians or Yokai. You've instead opted to align yourselves with FOOD. You are not deserving of your arm. Now, I will remove it!"
  467.
  468. The Kaor Lords blade would be drawn. A direct challenge to the malpercian. It could care less if it's friends joined in. Any respect the Kaor might have had for the malpercian was gone. She was nothing more then food now. Fuel for his ascencion, just like all the rest.
  469. (Thanos)
  470.
  471. [17:58:24] "You? Remove my arm?! Don't make me laugh." Rin cackled, malevolence oozing from every pore on her body. "But I've seen. We're not servants of Kaor. Not worthless, cowardly ones like you, at least! No... We were born of the Perfect! Our blood is even more pure than your own Yokai!" Her limb expanded, the terrifying tentacles trailing into the air, teeth and eyes growing upon them as Rin began to showcase her full might.
  472.
  473. Souls screeched, and depravity echoed, as Rin's own true nature began to reveal itself. The depths of her soul were corrupted almost in entirety now. Thanos would be able to sense it; the curse that had taken root in the form of the hungering madness that lurked in her mind.
  474.
  475. "You're right though. They are food! Just like everything else! But one always has to choose an order to eat the food they are presented, and you're at the top of the menu right now Thanos! There won't be a sigle drop of your essence by the time I am through with you!"
  476.
  477. Rin's announcement came with an ominous feeling in the air, as if the nature of her depravity were changing. She wasn't just a Malpercian anymore; the very essence of her soul had been transformed by her hunger. Gluttony was overtaking her. And feeding on Thanos would be the only thing that would appease it.
  478. (Rin)
  479.
  480. [18:51:18] Well, that certainly wasn't what was expected. The red haired man growled, fighting against the massive kaor.. And just when he thought that he might have the upper hand he would be stomped on. The creature focused on him, ignoring his allies, and before long he would be grabbed by his left arm.. A scream of pain escaped Thom as it was brutally ripped form his socket, his golden eyes quickly staring at the tapid bloodloss occuring.
  481.
  482. A few grumbles escape the red haired man as he managed to get up and continue the fight but just barely. Pain covered him entirely despite his attempts to continue but he would not be downed again. Instead.. It would be rin that was downed, Rin who was lifted by by her arm, and Rin who also lost her arm to this demonic creature.
  483.
  484. From afar however.. Thom could do not but grunt. He felt cheated, like things were unfair.. But perhaps that was just rage. But stuck out to him most was words that he had heard formerly from Nashandra.. About Cinderfall's champions not being strong enough to keep their limbs and now.. He was in a similar boat wasn't he?
  485.
  486. "..."
  487.
  488. It bothered him. Releasing Indra now the red haired man would be quick to cover his wound, glancing over to the silver haired woman. There was a look of shame on his face as he remained silently, merely hanging in the back of the group and slightly rubbing his now missing limb.
  489. (Thom M. Takashi)
  490. Gained 2 Roleplay Points
  491.
  492. [18:57:16] The battle waged, it was quite the intense exchange. A lot of shit being flung around, a lot of blood splattering everywhere. But, there'd be one detail that would completely derail Nashandra's world. Thom was hit, and hard. Before the homunculus could even tend to him, she'd go about and assist in finishing off the malefic Kaor beast.
  493.
  494. Once done, and the monster pushed back to the point where Rin could end this, Nashandra would immediately rush over at the wounded Thom. Silver eyes wide, heart rate out of control. Her lover was downed, mutilated. She couldn't let this happen.
  495.
  496. "Thom ... Thom!"
  497.
  498. Tentacles out, her greyrot, as bad as it may be, was quick to cover the would, and slowly apply a strange healing magic. Her arms wrapped around his waist as she panted, terrified at the prospect of losing the person that kept her humanity somewhat anchored.
  499.
  500. "Oh Thom ... Look at you ..."
  501.
  502. Embracing him tightly, her appendage would do all the magic needed to clean and close the wound, preventing any further blood loss.
  503.
  504. "First thing we do, is fix that, okay? All the efforts are on that!"
  505. (Nashandra)
  506.
  507. [18:58:59] Rin screeched in fury as the tendrils of her arm were torn brutishly out of her body. The pain was as excruciating as one might imagine; this wasn't some clean cut or anything of the like. It was agonizing, and Rin reeled from the final assault of the Kaor, before they collapsed. The Malpercian Girl's gaze was inhuman and merciless, as she let out an exasperated yell, drawing upon the last bastions of her demonic might.
  508.
  509. With a sickening splurch, and a spray of blood, yet another tentacle sprouted from the stump of an arm Rin possessed. The souls trapped in her body sang a chorus of their torment as the girl forced them to work for her; crafting the beginnings of her new appendage. It would quickly shoot forward, sinking itself straight into the eye of the Kaor.
  510.
  511. It spread. Rin's magic began coursing through the dying Kaor like a virus. It would not be a slow death. No. Thanos deserved everything. Through his nervous system her magics would leak, igniting literally every cell in his body to feel the most agonizing pain possible, all the while her tentacle continued to burrow and dig. It would consume his brain; ending the Kaor's agony, but even that was not enough for Rin. More tentacles would begin to sprout as she continued to feed, and one of which joined it's sibling...
  512.
  513. Straight through the Kaor's rib cage. It would rend right through the bone of the monster, grasping his heart and pulling it out. Rin stared at the magnifence, enormous organ of the Kaor, adoring it.
  514.
  515. It was like all the hatred and agony had washed out of her face as she dug into the prize she had so desired. The Malpercian collapsed to her pitiful knees as she ate; her body shaking in utter bliss from the pure pleasure that eradicated any and all pain. This was all she had wanted! To desire everything she had been! All she would be now, for all of eternity, was this blissful carnage of starvation! She would know hunger and be hunger!
  516.
  517. It was a simple existence that she longed to embrace!
  518. (Rin)
  519.
  520. {NARRATION} Now that Thanos couldn't fight back Rin would sue the anger she felt for losing her arm, the rage she had toward the Malpercian already. Thanos would come to an end as Rin consumed him for all he was worth. An absolute bloodbath, the girl would get covered in disgusting Yokai blood as she ripped and tore at him with her already developing new limb. The group was a little battle and scarred, but the mission was a success. The only thing left behind of Thanos was a mysterious heat shaped pendant. There was nothing left to do now but go home. The village was in cinders, Thanos was gone, Rin had a few power boosting items and a tome of necromancy. The others had found some useful stuff, in the end it was good days work for the team. The few injured might need help back to the boat but once they reached the waters Thom would be free to activate the runes. Or by now maybe the set timer would go off. Either way as the boat sailed into the violent waters of the peace barrier surroundings, the castle there would be one last resounding boom! As the ground shook and the castle went up in flame. Rin's past was now burning. All she had left to look to was the future and what secrets it may hold.
