	EUNHYE grew up in the beautiful mountainous city of anyang in the traditional manan district. her family was an average working class family that commuted to seoul to work everyday. growing up, her parents always told her stories about how they met in seoul, fell in love and got married. they then moved to anyang where eunhye and her older sister, miyun, were born. like eunhye, miyun was cheeky and got up to a lot of mischief and they did everything together as children. as miyun was older, she was naturally more outgoing so when eunhye first started high school where her sister was already a few years ahead, she had her own group of friends and left eunhye to make her own. she's been approached many times by strangers who couldn't help but ask to squish her cheeks - high school was no different. to this day, eunhye absolutely hates intimate contact especially with strangers and just barely tolerates her best friends.

	SHY | THOUGH eunhye was a very lively child growing up, all her childishness disappeared upon starting high school - she's a shy individual who stutters around strangers and can't hold eye contact with her superiors for more than a few seconds. her relationship with miyun slowly drifted apart until the only contact they had would be at the dinner table. despite her shy self, she's discovered that there were a lot of people who would make friends with anyone and she was lucky enough to make two that didn't mind her shyness.
	ENERGETIC | EUNHYE may be shy but she loves a good laugh. the energy she always had in childhood didn't ever go away and she always finds herself laughing at every little joke her friends make no matter how terrible they are. no one has ever seen her this happy around strangers and rightfully so; when the random gifts appeared in her desk one day, they didn't judge her like everyone else and got straight to work playing detective and finding out who sent what. for a pair of giggly and seemingly absent-minded girls, they sure do notice a lot of things about the boys in their school.
	STUBBORN | WHEN eunhye has made her choice, she absolutely refuses to be swayed and choose a different option. for example, she always strongly favours certain brands and will probably throw a fit when told otherwise because who likes pepsi? certainly not eunhye. her stubbornness has gotten her into enough trouble as a kid but it also helped make eunhye into someone who will keep every promise she makes no matter how small. with that being said, she will never make a promise if she is sure she cannot keep it.
	EMOTIONAL | HER friends love to coo over her cute appearance and dote on their 'crybaby' despite her strong insistence she's not a crybaby. eunhye's the type to appear calm and collected in every situation but is secretly crying on the inside and trying to stick it through until the end. her stress levels go through the roof in situations when the attention is focused on her and she finds it really creepy when people just stare at her like they expect her to put on a jaw dropping show. sometimes, she just wishes she can melt onto the ground and escape all the staring and attention.

	BEGINNING | CHENLE'S presence throughout the school is incredibly hard to miss, even for someone as shy as eunhye. he'd occasionally be seen in what looks like a screaming match with jaemin over something questionable; other times, being all clingy with jisung that anyone who knew otherwise could be forgiven for thinking they were gay. eunhye would actually avoid contact at all costs with chenle since he's the type to suddenly start screaming right behind you. that's a lesson eunhye learned when she was sneaking around the music block during one lunchtime looking for her lost pencil case when he seemed to appear behind her and basically announced to everyone in a 5 mile radius that he'd help her look for whatever she lost. unfortunately for eunhye, it would not be the last time chenle would randomly appear and ask if she needed any assistance finding her many lost items. like seriously, it feels like he takes her things on purpose just to help her find them.
	MIDDLE | EUNHYE is very vulnerable without her friends around. they're the ones who make it their duty to tell students (mostly males) to screw off after she once cried from excessive contact and probably scared them off. this one time she was on the verge of tears, chenle noticed her trying to shy away from the repetitive questions about how her cheeks were so soft and literally had to tell them they were dating in order for everyone to leave. eunhye was understandably pissed but her shyness got the best of her and stuttered her thanks before running back to the safety of the empty classroom where she and her friends usually hang out. after the news that chenle and eunhye were 'dating' spread throughout the school, of course her nosy friends had to interrogate him. eunhye began to notice him more until she eventually found herself daydreaming about him in class - passed off as a poorly delivered 'i didn't sleep much last night' excuse.
	END | THOUGH her friends had initially been skeptical about chenle, they encouraged her to get closer to him despite her strong insistence it's not him. she did find herself getting closer to him despite their obvious differences. he introduced her to his friends and slowly helped her become more outgoing. to say the least, her friends were not even surprised when eunhye started to open up to them about her feelings for chenle. they knew she was writing letters about him and when they had finally got sick of watching her do nothing about it, they decided to show chenle her first letter. he was really pleased - you could hear him squealing from the opposite side of the school and his friends telling him to man up and ask her out. and of course he has to go announce it to the entire school. by asking her out in front of everyone. if eunhye weren't shy, she would have strangled him right there and then.
