  1. [16:25] Arriving to the scene where a few had gathered at the forest center. Crimson hues falling upon both captives tied to the woman's whim. A smile illuminating as the stepped closer to hear the conversations at hand.
  2.
  3. Injecting themselves with an abrupt cough.
  4.
  5. "Hello... Hello..."
  6.
  7. Spoken as they motioned behind Kirill, wrapping their fingers around the mans shoulder before shaking them a bit. "Have you been sleeping well? Yes..." With a bit of laughter the woman pushed past the captain, revealing their hammer in off their back.
  8.
  9. Swinging the massive weapon with relative ease. Treating it much like a golf, swung low. Tapping off branches into the distance. "Now then... Who seeks knowledge over barsburg… We all do, of course. But whom among us shall dedicate the time to learning of its capacity?"
  10.
  11. Dangling the weapon overhead. "We've not much time to learn before we return them. So... Someone? Step up... Else, i'll learn it. Myself."
  12. (Irkalla)
  13. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  14.
  15. [16:27] She felt what the man said to be true. To prove her worth would be easy enough she felt. After all, she could get most people to notice her eventually. "Very well. You want to see value in me then? Hmmm would you care for a spar then. If that is not going to be enough I understand... however." She smiles. "I think it could be." She spoke with confidence eying him.
  16.
  17. Then Blackjack approached. "Ah do you not remember me?" Claudia would be recognizable to the man. She looked exactly like Finnae Rose. That was simply cause she was her. Yet wasn't. Her memory had far been altered too much. She was no longer that same girl. Two years of memory altering would do that.
  18. (Claudia)
  19. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  20.
  21. [16:27] Blackjack says, "Oh, wow."
  22. [16:27] Claudia giggles
  23. (Claudia)
  24. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  25.
  26. [16:28] Claudia asks, "Seems you remember now who I am. Yes?"
  27. [16:28] Blackjack says, "Yeah I remember, I remember."
  28. [16:28] Claudia says, "Typical for a man to forget a woman..."
  29. [16:28] Blackjack says, "Oh"
  30. [16:28] Blackjack would give a playful smirk.
  31. (Blackjack)
  32. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  33.
  34. [16:29] Claudia asks, "Fari. You need help with anything? For me to help prove myself to Jianyu?"
  35. [16:30] It seems Irkalla finally came around to it. He raised his clawed fingers gently as he wanted to be able to study the weapon if nothing else to be able to disable the dreadful collars that were being used to control their Kin.
  36.
  37. Although what burned his ears more was the fact that they were giving them back? "We're giving them back? You can't be serious..." He didn't like the idea of giving up all three of them, Some of them should've died...for those captured.
  38.
  39. Or at the very least for the Kaor that had to be slain. "We should discuss that more...Especially considering what they can do to us..." He would hope she got the drift. After all Eugo and Irkalla both witnessed it first hand.
  40.
  41. (Eugo La Ravias)
  42. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  43.
  44. [16:31] The caretaker of Claudia would simply look to her and nod.
  45.
  46. "Study hard and make sure to prove your worth. I will need you at times for things. So do not slack."
  47.
  48. Fari'aeth wasn't a occultist but many know him for his fighting like a demon ways. Some would even see him as a demonic berserker in battle. A fighting beast with no remorse.
  49.
  50. "Treat her well and don't hold back with training. She needs to be prepared for anything. Supply her also when you can. Myllenois has trashy artificers and alchemist."
  51. (Fari'aeth)
  52. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  53.
  54. [16:32] Shrugged off.
  55.
  56. The mere touch of Irkalla causing disgust to appear within his mind, an unnatural shiver running along the captain's frame as he glared towards the demon.
  57.
  58. "Your.. primitive, unlearned mind wouldn't be able to comprehend what our technology is, how it works."
  59.
  60. A shake of his head.
  61.
  62. "Give up."
  63. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  64. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  65.
  66. [16:33] Blackjack says, "Well. We know what happens to you all the moment we break into those things and, kraus be damned, break one down, so far it could never be fixed..."
  67. [16:35] Eugo La Ravias says, "We've raided a Barsburg incampment before...Its not that difficult."
  68. [16:35] "A spar?"
  69.
  70. Even if they're beaten, it spoke little of her interest as a person or her goals. But the Supreme brought trained hands to their bow.
  71.
  72. "Very well. Fight as though I were coming for your life."
  73.
  74. With that did they step back.
  75. (Jianyu Xi)
  76. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  77.
  78. [16:36] Fari'aeth says, "Dotn hold back Claudia"
  79. [16:36] Claudia says, "I do not intend to..."
  80. [16:36] "Can't be... Serious?" With furrowed brows they turned off a single heel in direction of the kaor with a displeased look. "Did you not hear me prior? They've the king... And while being captured was something they brought upon themselves? To lose the king and their relic. Would be another situation that occurred with Morok… Eugo. Will you defeat walter to retrieve the kings blade should he slay tyranny?"
  81.
  82. Their final sentence spoken with utter seriousness.
  83.
  84. "As much as I desire to kill all three of them, you can blame the king for being captured. That leaves us to do nothing, but take advantage of this moment. To do as much as we can. Without killing them." Explained with a growing annoyance.
  85.
  86. Looking over at the captain before searing demonic hues in their direction. "It would be wise of you, to act like a prisoner. Because you would be foolish to think I am humble enough to willingly let you mouth off. Only to let you go soon after. If you continue to push me, kirill? I will kill your companions. Because of you. Remember this, before you speak another word that may piss me off."
  87. (Irkalla)
  88. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  89.
  90. [16:38] Irkalla also pressed the pain button... Because Kirill was being annoying.
  91. (Irkalla)
  92. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  93.
  94. [16:41] That burst of electric that was sent directly through his system, the foreign presence of pain struck instantly into his nerves and had his eyes scrunching up in pain.
  95.
  96. A tight jaw, teeth clenching together as a gasp of pain parted his lips for the ears of those around. A pause as he regained his breath, a shake of pain causing his body to shiver as his mouth opened.
  97.
  98. "Unlucky for you."
  99.
  100. "I am not an engineer."
  101.
  102. The vindictive gleam within his eyes holding.
  103. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  104. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  105.
  106. [16:42] Blackjack says, "Unlucky for you, I am not an engineer, I think you mean."
  107. [16:42] Blackjack says, "I've heard rumors of what they do to those that lose their weapon..."
  108. [16:42] Blackjack says, "it would be ironic, captian, to see you killed by your own people even if they free you."
  109. [16:42] Blackjack says, "Or well, I wouldn't be around to see it."
  110. [16:42] Blackjack says, "but I'd make sure to greet you in Hel."
  111. [16:43] Blackjack says, "you keep calling us tribal, you're the one's that got stuck here."
  112. [16:43] Cecilia Pitri says, "Rodent. Pipe down."
  113. [16:43] Blackjack says, "I will rip my tail off and choke you to death with it."
  114. [16:44] Blackjack says, "Silence."
  115. [16:44] Cecilia Pitri says, "I'll rip it off my self."
  116. [16:44] Cecilia Pitri says, "Both tails."
  117. [16:44] Blackjack exclaims, "well thanks for doing half the job!"
  118. [16:44] Fari'aeth would look to Irkalla.
  119.
  120. "Hmm alright. How about I go hunt down one? I'm sure one your people or some of them are at the mines. I don't mind hunting."
  121.
  122. Fari'aeth showed no fear of the concept.
  123.
  124. "Though Irkalla the woman. She disrespects us once more I will remove her teeth with my claw."
  125. (Fari'aeth)
  126. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  127.
  128. [16:44] "His relic and his life were forfeited the moment he lost to Walter. If anything they'll have him turn his blade on us with their machinery...Don't you understand that being a possibility?" The Kaor was pressed down by the weight of Irkalla's words but where she was thinking with her own logic Eugo was thinking with his own.
  129.
  130. "Will you simply Trust that that won't happen? Or Can you be certain that if Tyranny returns he won't turn his blade on us? Or if he will even desire to return..." There were many things unknown about Barsburg and their technological advancements. Collars that could make a demon kneel against its will.
  131.
  132. Weapons that worked only for those who were capable of wielding it. It was true such things were possible through witch craft and magic but these were not such feats. They relied on no source, No common deity. These were the advancements of the machine...
  133.
  134. AndEugo still remembers the chilling sensation he felt when watching the bound Kaor. "I merely desire to know. On what confidence do you have that Tyranny won't become a threat or a hound of there's? Can you ensure that?" Otherwise what reason would they have to give up three viable sacrifices to the Dark Lord...Especially if they could help him to further ascend.
  135.
  136. Perhaps Eugo was thinking selfishly but the arguments he made were earnest.
  137. (Eugo La Ravias)
  138. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  139.
  140. [16:45] Blackjack says, "Eugo, please give us a chance to free him, we may not be lost, without him but he is still one of us..."
  141. [16:45] Eugo La Ravias says, "Don't mistake my words. I want him back as well."
  142. [16:46] Eugo La Ravias says, "There is too much risk involved however."
  143. [16:46] Blackjack says, "I...I know you do...."
  144. [16:46] Blackjack says, "fuck..."
  145. [16:46] Blackjack would take a moment to keep his composture.
  146. (Blackjack)
  147. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  148.
  149. [16:52] "Eugo…" Their words carried a sense of burden to them and yet. The woman seemed resolute in their claim. Regardless if it be all three released or merely the two captured by the ascended. There were lines they wouldn't look to cross, less they intend to deliver judgement on a similar path to the many others of lesser status compared to tyranny.
  150.
  151. "It matters not, what tyranny becomes... If he is a threat to us? Within our own woods... I will kill them. Personally. All that matters is that they return to the woods. We've gotten what we desired from these humans the moment they thought they could best us in a raid." And while they were still rather upset, feeling as if it was less a victory, with the loss of their king.
  152.
  153. The fact of the matter still stood.
  154.
  155. Irkalla had taken it upon themselves to lead demon-kind prior to the raid. And lead them she would, regardless of whether they enjoyed the oppressive interjections or not.
  156.
  157. "Regardless... There is no trust. Merely, logic. Abiding by words alone. Walter claimed a months time. If in a month we do not make the trade? Than in a months time? I will kill both Batu and Kirill. It is... That simple."
  158.
  159. Looking over to eye the captain and the lieutenant beside them. "Shame... Really. They'd not even been on this island long. At least... Compared to you & I. Yet... It seems as though fate may desire their end. If only to ensure tyranny is taken down with them."
  160. (Irkalla)
  161. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  162.
  163. [16:53] Fari'aeth whispers something.
  164. [16:53] Fari'aeth whispers something.
  165. [16:53] Irkalla whispers something.
  166. [16:53] Irkalla whispers something.
  167. [16:54] Fari'aeth Sighs
  168. (Fari'aeth)
  169. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  170.
  171. [16:55] Blackjack would take a curious glance at Kirill, and Cecilia, thinking a few things over.
  172. (Blackjack)
  173. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  174.
  175. [16:55] Blackjack says, "who holds the remotes."
  176. [16:55] Irkalla says, "I hold. Two."
  177. [16:56] Irkalla whispers something.
  178. [16:59] "...."
  179.
  180. Echoes of silence only came form the Kaor, Her words stung but they were hers Irkalla had changed a lot however it only seemed she understood, Eugo was trying to see if that conviction and resolve had been within her. And so it was.
  181.
  182. Yet it didn't mean he agreed to the plan, But none where his captives so he could not be bothered to decide their fates. "When the time comes for this trade I will be there. If what happened to Yuri is any indication we cannot trust any human who is not aligned with our cause."
  183.
  184. His words fall more silent as he speaks but seems to offer no more resistance towards Irkalla and her choice. Yet he doesn't seem to like it. "My plans will continue regardless. But not having them will make it increasingly more difficult. As you know."
  185.
  186. While he did want Tyranny's blade back in the service of the Dreadwoods he knew the costs it would bring to them. The demon shook its head and pickedup its tome once more. The threat of killing Batu and Krill in response to the trade not going how they wanted was amusing.
  187.
  188. But it would be a waste of resources in the Shaman's eyes. "Then do as you must Mistress...I'll continue to do my part."
  189. (Eugo La Ravias)
  190. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  191.
  192. [17:04] Blackjack holds both of his hands out, they begin to spark violently.
  193. (Blackjack)
  194. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  195.
  196. [17:05] Blackjack asks, "Kirill, what do you know about how the collars work?"
  197. [17:05] Blackjack says, "The enslavement, collars."
  198. [17:05] "Worry not, eugo… Their deaths would be treated like how real animals. Treat a dead carcass… You make use of everything. Nothing to waste. Their livers, lungs, hearts, eyes and ears with much more... Will all find use. More so in our ritual." This much they could rest acknowledging.
  199.
  200. As much of a waste as it was, there were simply things that needed to be done. Statements to be made and what message would the dreadwoods send to the island.
  201.
  202. If not death? In response to the lose of their king.
  203.
  204. "Speaking of... While Batu has been prepared. Kirill? Still requires their carvings... Fair', eugo? Come with me... We shall be taking batu & kirill elsewhere to make preparations should the king be slain."
  205.
  206. Stepping forward to the trio, eyeing cecila briefly before glancing over at the other two. Then to blackjack. "They know nothing... An ignorant man of nobility it seems. Likely one to just sit & do nothing until it's time to fight. Than educate themselves proper."
  207. (Irkalla)
  208. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  209.
  210. [17:05] Kirill blankly stares in return.
  211.
  212. "You're a fool."
  213.
  214. And that's all that left his lips.
  215. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  216. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  217.
  218. [17:06] Eugo La Ravias says, "in here then."
  219. [17:21]
  220. {LOAD GAME}
  221.
  222. [17:28]
  223. {LOAD GAME}
  224.
  225. [17:29] Leading fair and the two prisoners into the small house. Batu was directed to stand aside at the nearby wall, while Kirill? Was led to the center of the room and without hesitation.
  226.
  227. "Raise your sleeves, captain. Less you want to be stripped naked before your companion." While their demand was a strange one, there was little humor or expression in their gaze.
  228.
  229. Devoid of empathy, a swift hand raised to the ceiling called fourth soldiers. Figures, shadowy like the visceral magics conjured by the ascended witch.
  230.
  231. "Since you seem to lack, knowledge... I will give you in-sight. Yes?"
  232.
  233. Spoken as they paced around the man, like a shark in the water. Smelling blood. They nodded their head off to the summoned creatures. Their workings in drawing across the floors surface.
  234.
  235. Going as far as to even mimic the demons complexity in runic language. Though likely foreign to barsburg. These were deprived from the dark lords teachings. Prepping the room for a soon to be ritual.
  236.
  237. "The soul unlike mortals finite existence. Continues on. They act as a source of power for what could be perceived as an endless passing of generations. Mhm... It is only during certain conditions met. That one can traverse the human mind, finding the realm where the soul reside. From my studies they typically fall under only two categories… The willing & The unwilling. Which will you fall under. Kirill?"
  238. (Irkalla)
  239. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  240.
  241. [17:37] Forced towards a room, a hidden threat of the remote that Irkalla had causing him to move along with the demon as they entered a small room, his sights turning around the room.
  242.
  243. A pause, the demand causing his eyes to turn onto the demon. His sleeves rising, the bloodstained sleeves pulled up to reveal the skin hidden underneath.
  244.
  245. "Are you done trying to intimidate me, Irkalla?"
  246.
  247. Cerulean eyes moved along with the pacing Irkalla. A blank look within his sights, he already had an idea of what was to come. The previous talks already preparing him for the worse.
  248.
  249. The talk of the soul was listened to, matters he already knew, most magi did. But as Irkalla further spoke, a hardened look was offered in reply, his lips parting.
  250.
  251. "You do not command me. I do not serve you Irkalla, I serve the Empire. I am the unwilling."
  252. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  253. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  254.
  255. [17:39]
  256. {LOAD GAME}
  257.
  258. [17:46] "You're right... I do not command you." They commented, reaching out to yank the man forward by the wrist with one hand as the other immediately reached forward with a single claw like nail.
  259.
  260. Without wasting a moment, they divided their attention between carving lightly into the mans flesh, drawing blood, but nothing enough to grievously harm them. Or even temporarily. However... It could scar.
  261.
  262. And so as the soldiers continued drawing with chalk on the ground, a complex ritual. One, that would serve to be the foundation for future projects. Accumulating all the knowledge it amassed thus far simply for the sake of seeing to what new sights could be explored through this grasp on the soul.
  263.
  264. Humming lightly with a smile as they spoke with a cheeky tone. "But that's fine... Because you see. The methodology behind the unwilling is to bring them as close to death as possible. Where their body reaches a point where its limits are broken. The mana circuits flood with power, but that also means... They serve as a complete guide to the core... To the soul. So... Kirill? You will be brought to such condition. Retained in such a state as so that I can invade your mind. Bypassing all mental blockades humanity typically builds up as they grow. A natural defensive measure gods took to ensure they had layers to their craft."
  265.
  266. As they finished, so did the etchings on both arms. Drawing up to elbows length. A separate set of sigils. Each lined up in such a way that'd ensure each were activated in reaction to the prior.
  267.
  268. And with a step back, they pressed forward a hand. Pushing Kirill into the rituals center. The soldiers just finishing up as well. It all seemed to perfectly align somehow.
  269.
  270. "Tell me... Kirill. Do you trust a demon to keep you alive?" Unable to tame their laughter, it merely flowed. A tear of black ooze seeping out their eye before being absorbed into the pale visage. "Eugo… It will be your job to ensure Kirill remains alive. Yes? With your capacity to wield the temporal magics. I am sure you will do well to ensure this. Yes? I require as much time inside them as possible..."
  271. (Irkalla)
  272. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  273.
  274. [17:49] Fari'aeth Watches
  275. (Fari'aeth)
  276. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  277.
  278. [17:52] A few steps were taken away from the scene, their arms hidden beneath the cloak that always was dormant around their body. Already did he have runes placed onto the skin, strange and unknown to himself. Yet, they were the same as Kirills own that were being made.
  279.
  280. Little was actually being said by the Lt., as their neutral gaze only heavily carried the defiant words that weren't said.
  281.
  282. Already Batu had gone through this song and dancer, letting the demons do what they will. For now.
  283.
  284. Instead their attention was set onto the other ones within the room, Eugo and Fari both. One with their hammer, the other a demon that taunted the cogs.
  285. (Batu)
  286. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  287.
  288. [17:52] The active soldiers were ignored in favour of his wrist being grabbed, pulled forth as a nail dug into flesh to draw blood from his body, a wince across his face the one sign that he had felt pain.
  289.
  290. "Listen to me, filth."
  291.
  292. He wouldn't lose himself into the words of Irkalla.
  293.
  294. "I do not care for your explanations, I do not care for your progression. Go ahead, inflict your torture on me demon. Try your best to break me, to show me those unnatural horrors from before."
  295.
  296. "But I will not break."
  297.
  298. His body was pushed backwards. Directly into the centre of the ritual that had only recently been properly crafted by the soldiers that were now finishing up to perfectly align the structure.
  299.
  300. "Trust?"
  301.
  302. "I hold nothing but contempt for you."
  303. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  304. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  305.
  306. [17:59] Fari'aeth would not be interested in Krill. He was a foolish man who deserved nothing but what comes to him. Batu however was a interesting one.
  307.
  308. "You are very different compared to your annoying companion? Tell me why is that?"
  309.
  310. The machine was something he never understood. Garljing or Tyranny was all the demonic drakanite worshipped.
  311.
  312. "Though out of the three you are the least I don't want to see die."
  313. (Fari'aeth)
  314. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  315.
  316. [18:02] Eugo didn't need preparation time, He merely needed to know what runes he had to draw and simply advance time forwards until the sigil's were drawn to perfection. A state between life and death, Stopping the flow of time in an area for a few moments wasn't too difficult...However...
  317.
  318. "Could be interesting to try I suppose." He would have to force open the Timestream to do this attempting to keep someone locked in a state of near death had time advanced even a second a head, He would surely die with out a single thought about it...What a tragedy that would be no?
  319.
  320. Digits begin to trace, As shadowy black words soon began to glow with dark magics, Runes spoken in long forgotten words. Eugo began to chant as the words so inhumane it could be of no language known by man. SO much so those who weren't in possession of demons blood could barely understand them nothing but a gut twisting feeling began to proliferate as the words sank into their minds.
  321.
  322. Tearing away at their sanity like a peeler moving through the flesh of a fruit. As Eugo seemed prepared his gaze shot towards Irkalla and then to Kirill who had been moved to the center of the circle.
  323.
  324. Moving up towards the Captain Eugo would press his finger into his head. A hard press that seemed to leave something behind. A black smear almost like blood. Except worse for the captain. "It is done."
  325.
  326. Eugo claimed boastfully. "Should he die by your hands his life will be preserved at the exact moment before he dies. And not a second more. Should everything go according to plan. Although? If he is not healed the moment he comes out of that state I doubt he will survive." Eugo had to focus his all in maintaining the curse. Fighting against the flow of the time stream.
  327.
  328. As much as he enjoyed the Captain's boring resistances his death wouldn't cause the Demon to flinch an inch. "That being said I must focus on maintaining this curse...It goes against the flow of time after all its not easy."
  329.
  330. At the very least with the power he had now this much was possible. He could only wonder what else he could do when he finally ascended.
  331. (Eugo La Ravias)
  332. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  333.
  334. [18:02] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  335. [18:03] Only briefly did their attention fall to the nearby Fari'aeth, contempt in his gaze as they looked him over once, and...Then looked away, saying nothing to the drakanite. Even if the Lt. was the one he least wanted see dead, it changed nothing of their judgements in it all.
  336.
  337. Which was not caring to die, or humour more then needed.
  338. (Batu)
  339. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  340.
  341. [18:07] Within the ritualistic design that was inscribed into the wooden flooring below him, his attention turned towards those within the room. Primarily, his attention was placed onto Eugo.
  342.
  343. The new addition to this experiment that was forced upon him.
  344.
  345. A shadowy finger placed itself against his forehead. A hard press, a black smear that painted itself onto his head as the demon proudly spoke about his accomplishment.
  346.
  347. But the captain didn't speak.
  348.
  349. There was no need for words from the man, no addition to the conversation or taunts and insults to be thrown.
  350. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  351. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  352.
  353. [18:19] "It will be wise of you not to break... Because I look not to hold back either... Should you waver? I doubt even eugo could save you." With a deep, much unneeded; breathe. Did the woman close their eyes, raising both arms to the side as the mumbled words beneath their breathe.
  354.
  355. Raising their pitch as the gibberish to those surrounding would likely hear it as. Could only weigh on the sigil on the ground, activating through sacrifice.
  356.
  357. Pulling from the well of essence's stored within. Each an encounter that favored the woman. Calling to their cries of pain and horror through pleasure & delight.
  358.
  359. Smiling a wolfish grin as shackles appeared, tearing at the spirits looming above the room. Taking them under to the realm of Hel'Heim where the dark lord responded in kind. Infusing their blessing into the ritual.
  360.
  361. It's then that kirill could feel it, like a wave of magma churning from within. Boiling as the runes on their flesh began to flash with a familiar color.
  362.
  363. Forcing open their magical circuits without calling, the man could sense it. Like a puppet, their body acted without reason. Demanding all their strength in an explosive burst upon the initial channeling. Likely already to cause damage from a lack of proper build up from within.
  364.
  365. "Bare your hatred for me... Show me your fangs, your resilience. Like a heart on the sleeve. Your willingness to express your discontent for my kind is, but a pathway to your self. To what reason do you hate us all? To what reason do you strive to see us shackled... These are all questions that shall call to your imagination... And while your drown upon your sins? I shall delve into your being..."
  366.
  367. Throwing their head back as ashen locks followed. The animus manifested in the split second as the ascended took upon their true form. The ethereal wrath, shadowy in all true essence.
  368.
  369. Levitating forward, the rituals rising in hel'heims presence with offering of spirits. Would be the key as they began dissolving. As if being pulled away, their being could be seen being siphoned into the runic text etched into the mans flesh.
  370. (Irkalla)
  371. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  372.
  373. [18:32] The captain had no idea what exactly had been changed, what Eugo's addition to the ritual would bring forth. But he remained quiet, a hint of wariness finally entering his eyes as the wretched piercing voices of gibbering entered the surroundings.
  374.
  375. Shackles.
  376.
  377. Something he has intimately familiar with when he had fought Irkalla before. The spirits that appeared were instantly impaled, pulled forth into the realm of Hel'heim as the demon's ritual continued.
  378.
  379. Perhaps that's when the feeling of dread started to tickle against his neck, the hair on his arms rising instinctually as a warning across the man's body.
  380.
  381. A puppet. The wave of foreign presence within his body that forced his body to react without reason, without his own input as a burst of mana shot forth through his entire body.
  382.
  383. Magical circuits alit with an unholy fervour. Mana drenching the circuity and sparking his cerulean orbs up with a glow as his jaw clenched, the unnatural way his mana was called forth causing a sharp pain.
  384.
  385. "You're mere slaves. Dogs for the chariot of the Empire. Hate? I have no need to hate you all, you're beneath me. Beneath the might of the machine."
  386.
  387. And then came Irkalla's true form. The human body disappearing for the demon's shadowy form to appear.
  388. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  389. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  390.
  391. [18:38] This was a struggle for sure. Keeping his body suspended near death, Focusing on holding the Flow of time back in a person was something he had been used to doing, However only in short brusts when battling.
  392.
  393. Eugo had to channel the very flow of the timestream through his own body, A technique that went above that of Transcendence. True Chronos. A power he had only been able to activate once in his life.
  394.
  395. Eugo mostly kept his head down and his eyes closed Concentrating on fighting back the flow of time with his Darkness. A barrier that kept out the outside forces of the Timestream. He had to maintain it otherwise things here would surely be crushed by the grand flow of time.
  396.
  397. It became more and more difficult as each second passed. Another second that the Captain should have been dead, Time rejecting itself from his body.
  398.
  399. Three seconds had been his maximum, back then, But now? He seemed more focused. Able to replenish the mana he lost with the essence he could gather. He'd only hoped whatever Irkalla was searching for she'd find this time.
  400. (Eugo La Ravias)
  401. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  402.
  403. [18:47] Without mercy nor empathy did the demon begin enacting the process of their soul searching. Allowing the ritual of Hel'Heim to begin filling in the void within the mans mind, awaiting the signal.
  404.
  405. It merely required the woman's voice.
  406.
  407. "You feel it... Once more. A slave I may be, but willing I am... To the dark lord. A whore? For them... Possibly, but what does a title from you. Mean to me? When the I've the acknowledgement of someone much more... Bigger than life."
  408.
  409. Words whispered as the world around the captain began spiraling out of vision. Consumed by a void of darkness, trapped within a canvas where only the sigil of hel'heim illuminated beneath them without end. Furthering the pain felt as the demons being could be seen from outward appearance. Veins running black, pulsating as they traced like a worm across their flesh.
  410.
  411. Out of sight, as they wrapped around his heart. Applying pressure as their mind could only continue on. Spilling fourth their past or a moment? A place & time where the captain felt pained & defeated. Possibly by the hands of a demon or something else... Whatever it would be, seemed good enough to numb the pain.
  412.
  413. All the while? The ascended delved in spiritual form, passing by mirrors reflecting memories in the mans life. All ignored, as the light given at the end of the tunnel was what they followed. Where what was once invisible? Were seen, circuity drawing to a core, awaiting the demons arrival.
  414.
  415. Moving with haste, alas. This was hardly a process they could rush, but it was one that could no longer be avoided. As far too long had they relied on the willing to stave off rejection.
  416.
  417. But with the assistance of eugo? They could very-well make the break through they awaited for so long.
  418. (Irkalla)
  419. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  420.
  421. [18:50]
  422. {LOAD GAME}
  423.
  424. [18:58] Irkalla's words were zoned out, not even taken notice of. Instead, his vision bleared, his body touched and consumed by an evergrowing darkness that took root and festered.
  425.
  426. The alien black veins that had no place along the body of Kirill stood out against the pale flesh of the man. Tracing, reaching a fatal point of his body to wrap around his heart.
  427.
  428. A moment of pause, a breath taken within intention as his mind subconsciously felt the feeling of constriction within his body, the feeling of past memories brought a feeling that wasn't sadness, wasn't pain or defeat.
  429.
  430. But anger.
  431.
  432. Of years of hatred that had festered within the captain, and it showed. The build up of mana that continued to flow turned erratic from the addition of his raw emotion.
  433.
  434. The defeats hadn't bothered him, they were failures within a mission. But the short dive that had him reliving moments of scorn, moments of hated and betrayal was awound that shouldn't of been opened once more.
  435.
  436. But the unnatural magic of Irkalla had brought forth such emotion, brought forth memories of the past that had submerged themselves into the mind of the captain.
  437.
  438. "You'll die. I am going to burn your forest to the ground, Irkalla."
  439.
  440. Every word spewed forth with a hatred, clenched jaw barely holding back the screams that wanted to erupt.
  441. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  442. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  443.
  444. [19:08] Claudia says, "Hmmm...."
  445. [19:09] Fari'aeth says, "Its that ookami man"
  446. [19:10] Minature voids were slowly pulling the essence of the Timestream to lock the man in place, Had it been a simple procedure Eugo would've easily released it killing him..
  447.
  448. But through the nature of what Irkalla was attempting Eugo knew such actions would only cause discord between them, If she even survived his death after their spirits had been intermingled. Yet as hard as he tried to resist the great flow of time, It would continue regardless.
  449.
  450. Now the 'eyes' of the Timestream were taking notice of him, He could feel their lingering presence deep within his soul. Yet he continued to push past it, Sparks of Temporal magics flickered around him, As he continued to increase his resistance to time, Something only a demon would fathom to do.
  451.
  452. Eugo taking his time to carefully shape his magics, Before locking away with his runes. He allowed for the time to flow around him like a loop holding back the prying eyes of those who would invade upon the ritual.
  453.
  454. Yet for now this was only a temporary fix, Had the 'eyes' come back they would surely be more risk involved. However if there was anyone worth risking the wrath of the Timestream for, It was Irkalla. He had to risk at least this much for Irkalla...
  455.
  456. After all her magic regarding the soul would make her more powerful. Make him more powerful. There was little else he could do but oblige in her pursuits. And thus....Eugo dug into himself, Pulled out power even he was unknowing about.
  457.
  458. Time expanded around him, Opened like a book for him to read, His eyes charged with dark malice, The demons body being eroded by the very timestream he hoped to control. More power than he could hope to gain as A Kaor, He had to achieve a higher level. Evolve passed himself, Burning the essence of time into his core he would move himself forward Maturing His body, degermation as time's rot spilled onto him, A Consequence for breaking such a concrete rule for going against the flow of time.
  459.
  460. "Just how much longer...Can I endure this..." The demon murmured to himself, to not disturb Irkalla yet he was clearly in distress a battle of his own, and yet he pressed on, Knowing Irkalla would have her own, Divine Enitity to face against should she continue with her goal.
  461. (Eugo La Ravias)
  462. [19:23] It was during their traversing through the spiritual mind that they found the mans mood to only further enlighten the path forward. As they bore their emotions for the woman to hear, it could only act as a means of acceptance to the whim of the ritual.
  463.
  464. Enacting pain upon their body & mind. Instilling nothing, but the infliction against their well-being. Acting as the rush of winds to push the ascended further until finally?
  465.
  466. They could see it within eyes distance. A lone glowing orb, illuminating to what was usually a tranquil sensation. Yet? Maybe it was due to the rituals nature that they found something entirely different.
  467.
  468. A light while unwavering looked to occasionally cast a shadow over the darkness. One pronounced amidst the blackness surrounding them.
  469.
  470. "And what if you die... Before you can even see your companions again?"
  471.
  472. A single sentence spoken as they descended upon the soul. Levitating near the divine barrier that encased the outflow of mana pouring out. "What if... You fail? And all these emotions, these words... Are for not?" Laughter ignited as the woman pressed upon against the glass like shell. Allowing themselves to purposely be burned by the rejection.
  473.
  474. Thriving off the moment in-which it felt it could defy the gods. By releasing the entirety of its being into the man. Harnessing, drawing, from the animus as it flipped open pages in reality. Coming to stop upon a single enhancement.
  475.
  476. Summoning within the mans mind, a plethora of spirits. Essence's. All gathered over time. Nearly... Forty or so. "Prepare yourself... Because I will now inject fallen warriors into you... The most simplest means of explanation I can give to you... Let their pain, their sorrow... Their hatred for being incapable of stopping themselves being sacrificed to you. Be the fuel..."
  477.
  478. But for what? Was not the time to tell.
  479.
  480. As the woman cradled over the object to which was likely twice or three times her size. Commanding one essence at a time look to penetrate past the divine barrier. Acting as though it were a former piece returning to its master. It was the what the intentions of this ritual were for.
  481.
  482. To infuse the soul with corruption...
  483. (Irkalla)
  484. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  485. [19:34] Pain never left him.
  486.
  487. Evoked through the ritual, through the struggle of weeks of captivity and the collar that continued to sap away strength, to dig deeper into his neck with the barbs of metal.
  488.
  489. But this was worse.
  490.
  491. Forbidden territory touched upon by the magic of Irkalla. The laughter ignited his fury more, to be looked down upon in such a condescending way that he couldn't help but have teeth bite into flesh, his lower-lip drawing blood as the ritual continued.
  492.
  493. As his mind crumbled ever so slightly, picked apart by insecurities that had never been drawn forth and allowed to erupt in such an untimely manner. The words of Irkalla, doubled, sounding as if they were miles away and not directly near him.
  494.
  495. His vision bleared, the words of the demon. Of fallen warriors, of the emotion that was to come barely was comprehended as the experiment truly started.
  496.
  497. "YOUU."
  498.
  499. Raw emotion that didn't cease.
  500.
  501. Untapped. Anger, pain, regret, sorrow. Tears, uncalled for and not brought forth from even Kirill's emotion slowly flowed down his cheeks to run along his visage.
  502.
  503. The whites of his eyes revealed themselves as his mind was assaulted by sheer emotion, foreign, and not his own struck against the man's very soul. His own thoughts slowly consumed in a whirlwind of feeling.
  504.
  505. Until finally, each trickle of essence made its way deeper into the man. Somewhere sacred, where none should of touched. Each piece returning as if to form a whole, as if returning to a familiar place that they were always meant to be.
  506.
  507. Even as emotions ebbed away, even as tears no longer flowed either due to the emotional overload being too much, or his ducts no longer being able to bring forth anything.
  508.
  509. His body collapsed, a cold sheen of sweat somehow appearing throughout the ritual. The voices of old, the fallen warriors that held no faces seemed to continuously whisper as if they remained.
  510.
  511. Cerulean orbs opened, and with it the world of the Orlov's changed.
  512. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  513. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  514.
  515. [19:36] Irkalla says, "opps. ya. eugos turn"
  516. [19:45] The power of time tore away at Eugo's body, Leaving bits of flesh and gore, As the energy began to tear the demon apart, Controlling the flow of time for this long? Was a struggle he was not prepared for. The Green lightning ripped into his flesh, Turned his bones into dust, And yet the demon continued to hold onto his spell.
  517.
  518. When his hands became too weakened with age he forced back the timestream with his mind, Conjuring hands of shadows to appear and be his new pair. Black Blood spilled around the ritual circle, Not interrupting it but in fact empowering it, Eugo giving his life and limb to see this go through...And yet?
  519.
  520. His body had been torn to shreds. Until all that remained was nothing more than the Black Obsidian thorn that was lodged in the demon's chest, It held onto the spell despite Eugo's body being no more, Time still flowed around it, Hell bent on giving his mistress the time he needed.
  521.
  522. Even if he had to sacrifice himself for her cause. To learn of the power of the soul...to Ascend beyond Demonic Form one needed to pursue ultimate power. Eugo's mind a blank drifting in the flow of the timestream as it devoured what remained of his physical form.
  523.
  524. A mere spirit wondering the wastelands of time, His body no more but his soul still intact, The power of a demons soul only growing stronger and more corrupt with anguish as Eugo used that power to pull himself back together....
  525.
  526. Pieces of himself that were splattered across the shack began to rewind as time itself slowly reversed around him, As if nothing had happened in the first place, As if time itself had Chosen to release him from the depths.
  527.
  528. However in fact it was the opposite. Eugo recreated himself with the very same power of the timestream, What else had he been studying for? Training for? To Ascend beyond mortal limits. To become a being that exists outside of time.
  529.
  530. To become Eternal.
  531.
  532. That was the goal he had always desired and now? He could manifest it into reality. The very force of the Timestream was absorbed by the demon, Greedily consuming it like the monster he was. The Kaor rebuilding himself by feeding upon the very energy that destroyed him transforming him into something else entirely.
  533.
  534. A Being that can devour time itself.
  535. (Eugo La Ravias)
  536. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  537. 19:57] To meet at the cross-road, they too endured an unbelievable amount of pain. Piecing themselves past the divine barrier, even as it eroded away at its existences slowly.
  538.
  539. Attempting to defy the natural law of reality. To bend the space where light bent, as to impregnate it with darkness. A task far too grand, even for this moment. For as each essence entered past the divine barrier.
  540.
  541. Did the demon use those moments to peel away, to feel and thrive off these foreign pains. Feeling as if they were being punished by the gods themselves. For trespassing onto scared grounds.
  542.
  543. A howling laughter to fill as cries from the sacrificed were mixed in. All too consumed with their selfish endeavors. The only sense of reality came when realizing deaths grasp had drawn too close to the captain.
  544.
  545. Thinking only that possibly eugo had been pushing themselves beyond their limits. "They say... Love & Hate are two sides of the same coin... As much as you hateme? Only express's how much I am... On your mind." Closing eyes, a single breathe while unneeded would begin waning at the ritual. Calling back to the remaining essence's gathered around the mans soul.
  546.
  547. Each entering back into the demon, resisting, but it was futile. As shackles erupted, dragging then unwilling back. As some? Had long since forgotten freedom, willingly being pulled back into the ascended.
  548.
  549. As all together? Did they depart. Escaping from the sigils etched into the mans flesh. Shadows fuming before coming to converging against the ground with a Thud!. Piling upon each other smoothing out the reflection of their ascended state once more.
  550.
  551. "Ahh...."
  552.
  553. With crimson hues, they gazed upon the room briefly. Falling down to Kirill, then to eugo. "Hm... I guess this was more of an experience than expected..." Humming whilst kneeling down beside the captain.
  554.
  555. "Come now... We're finished. That wasn't too bad now, was it?"
  556. (Irkalla)
  557. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  558.
  559. [20:01] Death had indeed tickled the captain. But he wouldn't be welcomed into the embrace of the entity as he was pulled back into life, the howling laughter that erupted in the surroundings awakening him to reality.
  560.
  561. The usual pain, the taste of iron within his mouth, blood staining his lips as he looked around the room.
  562.
  563. Too tired to respond, too emotionally and physically drained to do anything but follow along for now.
  564. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  565. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  566.
  567. [20:03] The demon was utterly exhausted, Yet he pressured forwards, Things soon became easier. The timestream no longer resisted against his dominance. In fact it subsided all aims to halt him, And just as it did. Irkalla revived herself back into the flesh.
  568.
  569. Eugo looking towards her with interest, Seeing as her work had been done. Releasing his curse of time, and bringing Kirill's body back into the regular flow of time.
  570.
  571. The demon's body still vibrating with temporal magics even he wasn't quite sure what they could do. But he would be sure to find out...
  572. (Eugo La Ravias)
  573. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  574.
  575. [20:05] Claudia asks, "Fari. Are you up for a spar?"
  576. [20:05] Fari'aeth says, "Hmm soon"
  577. [20:06] Fari'aeth says, "If you like to learn witchcraft"
  578. [20:06] Maybe it was due to the unique nature of their being, that found little exhaustion to be had. But then again? It's focus resided solely on exploration. While the rest had been covered by eugo.
  579.
  580. Nevertheless, they gaze over towards batu. "Would you like to be next? We've such little time together. I merely... Looked to ensure my print, on the captain remained. After-all... It's only deserving. Yes? One who hunts us, be punished by us..." Whatever response the man would respond with.
  581.
  582. The woman could only remain expressed with a smile, eerily so. Possibly contemplating to what measures they could adjust the ritual. Or possibly influence it in a manner, unique to the barsburg magi.
  583.
  584. Whatever the case, it'd likely be touched upon later.
  585.
  586. For now? They'd escort the two outside.
  587. (Irkalla)
  588. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  589.
  590. [20:06] Fari'aeth says, "Watch these two."
  591. [20:07] Irkalla says, "Goodwork, eugo... You've taken another step foward. "
  592. [20:07] Irkalla says, "Also, thank you... Fari' For guarding during the ritual."
  593. [20:08] Fari'aeth nods
  594. (Fari'aeth)
  595. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  596.
  597. [20:08] Eugo La Ravias says, "Mh....Hopefully..."
