MegaTale (Genocide) Part 14- But Nothing Was There

Rock continues down the path to notice an electrical force holding down a button in a patch of land uncovered by snow that Rock was originally heading for. Suddenly, as he turns around, he runs into Colton and... What appears to be some kind of fat, blue robot with a fan on its torso. "Ugh, the Wi-Fi here sucks." The blue robot stated. "Ugh, it's Fan Fiend." Rhythm states. Rock, of course, didn't care who or what it was. Rock kills Colton, then moved on to kill the Fan Fiend.

Surely enough, there were holes in the ground where spikes once were. Rock walks past them, but suddenly... "You there! Human!" A voice called out. "Prepare to be captured by the Royal Guard's greatest dynamic duo!" Suddenly, two robots appeared. One looks akin to a psychic, while the other appears to be a smaller, ...derpier... version of Beta. "I am the GREAT Psion Man!" Yelled the psychic robot. "and i'm BAKA." Stated the smaller Beta. "Let's give 'em a good fight!"

The FIGHT started as soon as Psion Man finished his sentence. Rock wasted no time with Psion Man, killing the psychic easily. (Wait, but if Psion Man was psychic, couldn't he... You know what, nevermind.) "...you killed my brother." BAKA states in response. "...and now... now..." BAKA suddenly bursts into a laugh as ear-damaging music played, forcing Rock to cover his ears in pain. "WANNA HAVE A BAD TOM!?!?!?" BAKA suddenly yells out.

BAKA then suddenly turns Rock's SOUL blue, then slams him into the ground. Then BAKA summoned a misshapen bone attack underneath Rock, who avoids it. More bones then rams into Rock. They each dealt 1 damage each, however. Suddenly, though, a few cat heads that looks like they came from a cartoon blasted lasers at Rock, in which forced Rock to heal up with one of the Snowman Pieces. BAKA followed up with the same attack, however, but Rock managed to avoid it more easily.

Rock then attacks BAKA, but BAKA dodges the attack. "SIKE!" BAKA exclaimed. "DIDYA REALLY THINK THAT-" Suddenly, BAKA falls on the floor and had a seizure, as if he was supposed to slip. Before BAKA could even get back up, Rock rushed at BAKA, attacking suddenly before BAKA could even prevent it, only reacting with a loud scream before dying. Rock continues on the path ahead. Rock then notices a sort of thing with a sign. Rock notices there were supposed to be spikes, but they have been suddenly deactivated.

There was a similar puzzle ahead that looks almost like MegaBoy's face, but it wasn't exact. Once again, the spikes that were supposed to be present were gone, and Rock just walks past everything, not caring or giving it thought as usual. It was then Rock ran into Beta and MegaBoy once more. "Ah, so you arrived!" MegaBoy states. "I think I got you cornered this time! This puzzle was actually created by..." The puzzle consisted of many squares that seem like they might be able to do something, but it's currently deactivated. Next to the two robots standing in front of Rock is what appears to be a helmet of sorts. The helmet was black with a few lines of a cyan, neon glow, albeit dimmed. Sporting the same cyan color rests an "N" in the middle of the helmet.

Rock ignored this, however, and walked past the puzzle. "Are you serious?" MegaBoy asks. "Beta, what do we do? They just keep walking past my puzzles! This one was going to be a great one! I would've given this robot here a cool keyword, there would've been tiles with different functions..." MegaBoy then sighed. "You know what? Just do it yourself. Or not, I don't care. I'll just prepare my NEXT puzzle, which will SURELY convince you to join in on the fun!" MegaBoy then walks away simply. "...You know." Beta states. "Puzzles are actually fun. If you try them, that is." Rock doesn't really care, and continues on his way.

Knowing that he is nearly done killing every robot fills Rock with DETERMINATION. Rock then notices a bunch of ice ahead of him. He soon found himself landing on an O. Rock then notices a path up ahead and decides to go down it to the other side of the path. There was a little bit of snow on Rock head, which annoys him, but he shakes it off.

Rock notices a downward path and decides to check for monsters to kill. That's when he sees Beta, who just says a simple "Heya." Rock continues to explore and sees... Beta? "How's it hanging?" Beta states. Rock turns around to see Beta again, then looks back just to see him once again. "Confused, kiddo?" Beta asks. "It's called a shortcut. How else do I get to places so quickly?" Rock just rolls his eyes, not caring. Though, it does seem that Beta's holding enough secrets to make even Rock curious about him... Perhaps, if these two were to fight, Beta would have more power than Rock thinks.

Rock then runs into yet another mecha. It was a big, blue, mechanical dog of sorts that seems to have ornaments all over it. "That is Hot Dog." Rhythm states. "Yes, it's literally called that, and it can also spit out fire. Very out-of-place if you ask me, but do what you must." Rock attacks the Hot Dog and spots a cave. However, peering inside the cave, Rock sees nothing, so he continues.

Suddenly, he spots something in a pile of snow- Or as Rhythm kept calling them, "snow poffs", though Rock DID find some zenny in one earlier. Rock pulls out a note from the snow poff:
"To the monster it may concern,
  if you were expecting a battle, then I'm sorry to disappoint you, but you aren't getting one. Not with me, that is. I've been watching how you handled the guards. How you handled every single robot you met. How you killed them all, one by one. ...You are a threat that I am too weak to face against. This I know of. ...BUT. There was one thing I COULD do: Evacuate as many people as I could. I warned as many people as possible, and by time you read this letter, I'll already be leading my fellow robots to Atomic Furnace so that Dr. Mikey could lead them to a safe place. It'll be a long trip through Waterfall Institute, however. But know this... You will NEVER find us. Of all the robots I have saved... You will not lay a single finger on any one of them. I'll be sure of it.
-Sargent Man, Leader of the Arctic Jungle Force... Or what's left of it, that is."

"Well, that's the Royal Guard for you." Rhythm states. "They were brave, strong, ...And kinda were a bunch of wackos. But in the end, the power of humanity was something they couldn't handle at full force. But not all are like this. There still is Zero." "Heh, I'm not worried." Rock stated. "When we meet this Zero, I'll crush his head in!" Rock killed several more robots before continuing on. Despite Sargent's attempt to evacuate everyone...

...There were some unfortunate enough to meet Rock.
