What we're seeing now is BT.2020 from my processor, and that doesn't match my screen

I compared 2020 to 709, but cant see a different. If you compare those 3 images, do you see a difference?
I think all three were in the BT.2020 color space...

Nope - the system should still be able to represent the color of the object accurately - just with not as much gradation in 709

Yes, and that compares well to what we see on our monitor here too
Great, so all in all, our machine doesn't have a still capture/record issue really, it is that our capture card isn't handling the 2020 well.

Great, now that I have a better understanding on the issue, we will get our hardware team on the horn and figuire out why the difference

I assume you guys prefer to use 2020?
 - Yes, that's one of the reasons the surgeons love it - they get more detail in the red spectrum in particular
