[21:06] <~Kroked> Luna: a few days have passed, Soul, and the hunter who had become his teacher, named Garland, are out hunting while there is still light. the already cold temperature drops even further at night, making it a bad time to hunt, not to mention the poor visibility. the winged woman resembling erina is sleeping, she's been doing that a lot, it seems shes still >
[21:06] <~Kroked> recovering from being sealed in ice
[21:07] <~Kroked> you too are in bed,  Nate won't let you do much else. Nate is currently sitting in a chair next to your bed, staring deep into the fire blace built intot he wall of the igloo
[21:15] * Luna has fell asleep a little while ago with not much else to do. The usual content expresion is gone however, shes sweating a bunch and has an uncomfortable look on her face
[21:15] * Luna lets out a hushed "...Eri" from her sleep
[21:16] <~Kroked> Nate breaks his attention from the fire for a moment and places a hand gently on Luna's forehead
[21:17] * Luna starts to fidget and grips the blanket tighter, hands starting to get warmer and glow a dull orange
[21:19] * Luna shoots her hands up and starts grasping at thin air, letting out a pained and slightly louder "...Nate..no.."
[21:20] <~Kroked> Nate gently grabs Luna's hand
[21:20] <~Kroked> "I'm here"
[21:21] * Luna suddenly jerks into a sitting position and both hands light ablaze "NOO!"
[21:23] * Luna shakes her hands free of Nate and scoots against the wall, clearly shaken and out of breath "Noo.. noo"
[21:24] <~Kroked> Nate smiles gently "Hey, It's ok, I'm right here, and I'm not going anywhere"
[21:24] <Luna> "I-I.."
[21:24] * Luna looks down at her hands and quickly tries to put them out
[21:26] <Luna> "...Im sorry.. for you to see that.. I didnt burn you did I?"
[21:27] <~Kroked> "It doesn't matter, what about you. Are you ok?"
[21:28] <Luna> "Sorry.. I-It was just a bad dream.. Ill be ok now."
[21:30] <~Kroked> Nate gives a slight worried look "Are you sure? Is there anything i can do?"
[21:33] <Luna> "Just having you here helps a lot.. I dont want to bug you with my silly nightmares anyways... Kinda surprised I didnt wake the new girl with as loud as i think i was."
[21:35] <~Kroked> "It doesn't bug me to listen to what bothers you Lu. I want to be here for you when you need me, so dont be afraid to talk to me about what bothers you"
[21:35] <~Kroked> "I'll always be ready to lend an ear"
[21:36] * Luna grabs the blanket and wraps herself in it "Its just one iv had since i was little is all... and for whatever reason its gotten more screwed up since we left that village..."
[21:37] <~Kroked> "Talk to me about it."
[21:38] <Luna> "...I didnt say anything while i was out.. did I?"
[21:39] * Luna huddles in closer to the blanket while trying not to look at nate
[21:40] <~Kroked> "Not a whole lot. You mentioned eri, and me"
[21:41] * Luna pulls her legs up to her chest and rests her head on them "Ofcourse i did.."
[21:42] <~Kroked> Nate pats your head
[21:42] * Luna flinches slightly, then relaxes and nuzzles her head into his hand
[21:43] <Luna> "Its always the same, im stuck floating in pitch black, and when i try to move i cant, like im just stuck there"
[21:44] <Luna> "Ofcourse its a stupid spiders web and the little bastards start commin at me from all sides"
[21:44] <Luna> "Eventually a big one comes out of the shadows and right before it gets me i normaly wake up. Sheets or whatever im close to is normaly on fire too.."
[21:45] <Luna> "Ever since we left the village though it doesnt stop their.."
[21:46] <Luna> "Its just.." Luna trails off looking away from Nate and settles her eyes on the new girl.
[21:47] <~Kroked> Nate glances "It's fine, keep going"
[21:48] <Luna> "Its just now right before the big one has its way with me, Eri comes down and plucks me away from it. Before i know it were far away and i find myself lookin up to thank her.."
[21:49] <Luna> "Except what i see is all distorted and messed up, even through all that though i can see it... shes crying... and before i can ask her whats going on... she just drops me.."
[21:51] * Luna looks away from both Nate and new girl and snuggles back into the blanket
[21:51] <~Kroked> "Thats not it though is it?"
[21:53] <Luna> "No it just keeps going.. Im falling and tring to reach out to her.. when i suddenly stop and land in somethin soft, its you. Im in your arms and its nice and warm and safe.. i can always tell without looking around.."
[21:54] <Luna> "..But then i do look up... and its always the same... your just a bloody mess.. all beaten and cut up.. its.."
[21:54] * Luna shivers under the blanket
[21:55] <Luna> "And you would think youd be in pain or somethin... but instead your just looking at me with a blood face... laughing at me.."
[21:55] * Luna hides her head in the blanket
[21:56] <~Kroked> nate wraps his arms around you "I'd never do that, you know that. and I will always come back for you. no matter what happens, how beaten or bloody, no matter how many times i die. I will always come back for you"
[21:57] * Luna just nods, making no effort to lift her head "Mm.."
[21:58] <~Kroked> "Hmmm, how bout i tell you a story, to keep your mind off it?"
[21:59] * Luna keeps her head down and leans into Nate, letting out a muffled "O-ok.."
[21:59] <~Kroked> "What kind of story do you want to hear?"
[22:01] * Luna peaks out of the blanket a little "Anything is fine... just something to keep my mind off all... that.."
[22:01] <~Kroked> "Hmmm..." Nate scratches his chin
[22:03] <~Kroked> "Ok, I have 3. I can tell you about Spark, Travelers, or Kaia"
[22:06] <Luna> "So.. something about eletricity.. some random wanderers.. or Kaia.."
[22:07] <Luna> "Kaia sounds better.."
[22:07] * Luna snuggles closer to nate and rests her head on his arm
[22:08] <~Kroked> "I dunno about that"
[22:08] <~Kroked> "Kaia was my first love, the stories a bit sad"
[22:10] * Luna has a sad and pained look on her face and turns away from nate "...Oh.. ya thats right.. sorry... Either of the other two are fine.."
[22:11] <~Kroked> "It's fine, it doesn't bother me tot ell you about her... I'm just worried about it bothering you."
[22:12] <Luna> "If your alright shareing, I would like to hear about her.."
[22:12] <~Kroked> "Well... ok"
[22:17] <~Kroked> "So, about...303 years ago, give or take I was traveling, just sort of wandering with my friend, an eagle named Neil"
[22:18] <~Kroked> "We'd been traveling a year or so at that point, and as i was wandering one night i saw a girl being chased by a man"
[22:18] <Luna> "Prety birdy.."
[22:18] <~Kroked> "He really was, and a real smartass too" Nate gives a chuckle
[22:19] <~Kroked> "Anyways, so we were in this wooded shelterbelt, so,  I waited behind a tree, and when she ran by I grabbed her, covered her mouth and hid her with me"
[22:20] <~Kroked> "...Wasn't my smartest move"
[22:20] <~Kroked> "I got a load of telepathic feedback for my trouble"
[22:20] <Luna> "Feedback?"
[22:22] <~Kroked> "Yeah like that schreechy noise when you put a microphone on the wrong way or something"
[22:22] <Luna> "O-oh.. sorry.."
[22:22] <~Kroked> "Nah it's fine Lu" Nate chuckles and rubs your hair
[22:24] <~Kroked> "I was able to keep quiet, and eventually the guy left. afterwards, the girl introduced herself as Kaia Rayne. she'd left home due to some sort of scuffle with her fmaily, and so we decided tot ravel together, she was our navigator, because i kind of have a really bad sense of direction."
[22:24] * Luna muffles a chuckle
[22:27] <~Kroked> "H-hey, it's not that funny... Anyways, so we travelled for awhile, and the guy came after us a few more time, till i finally stopped him for good in chicago."
[22:27] <~Kroked> "At that point we had become a couple"
[22:27] <~Kroked> "I loved her so much... I lived and breathed for her"
[22:27] <~Kroked> "But, our time was cut sort awhile later"
[22:28] * Luna looks down an stays quiet
[22:28] <~Kroked> "We were in a town, and there was a scuffle between the police and the local crime organization. I... I was young and stupid, I wanted to help"
[22:29] <~Kroked> "But, Kaia got hit by a stray bullet"
[22:29] <~Kroked> "She was shot in the temple"
[22:29] <~Kroked> "She died instantly"
[22:29] * Luna squints at the last comment
[22:31] <Luna> "...I take it not many made it out after that.."
[22:31] <~Kroked> "My...memories fuzzy after that"
[22:32] <~Kroked> "My next clear memory is a month or so later"
[22:32] * Luna grabs her shoulders and shakes "..Ya.. I remember how that feels.."
[22:32] <~Kroked> "I was in a dinig room, definitly a place belonging to a social elite"
[22:32] <~Kroked> "The entire area was bathed in blood"
[22:33] <~Kroked> "Around me were the bodies of a family, a man and woman, and two young children"
[22:34] * Luna grabs nates shirt through the blanket and looks at him "...Its alright if you dont want to go on talking about it.."
[22:34] <Luna> "Sorry I brought it up.."
[22:34] <~Kroked> he shakes his head "No, its better you hear about it anyways"
[22:35] <~Kroked> "The man had been the leader of the crime syndicate, and his family had been attached to him, so i kille dthem too. I'm not sure why"
[22:35] <~Kroked> "When I checked the news, i found that over a month, there had abeen around 100 deaths"
[22:36] * Luna rests her head against Nates chest and snuggles against it "...Its ok.."
[22:36] <~Kroked> "They all had a common link, they had some sort of link tot he crime syndicate. some were closely linked, others, only tangently, perhaps they had a brother in it, or had friend in it"
[22:38] <~Kroked> "I was ashamed"
[22:38] <~Kroked> "I spent the next 2 or so years, traveling, helping whoever i ran into, doing whatever i could to help people in need, as if that would some how annul me of my sins"
[22:39] <Luna> "...They were bad people that.. killed your love.. its fine.."
[22:39] <~Kroked> "I found my sword in that time, and that bolstered my confidence"
[22:39] <~Kroked> Nate shakes his head "I went to far"
[22:39] <~Kroked> "Mos tof them had nothing to do with it, it's fine, I know that now"
[22:40] <~Kroked> "Anyways, eventually, Neil Died, and I was all alone"
[22:40] <~Kroked> "After that, I decided to go home, to see the one person I had left... my sister"
[22:40] <~Kroked> "And than..."
[22:40] * Luna grips nates shirt tighter "Aww.. birdy.."
[22:40] <~Kroked> "I don't know"
[22:40] <Luna> "Dont know?"
[22:41] <~Kroked> "Next I knew, I woke up on the bus to Nona. Delta, an angel, had taken my memory"
[22:41] <~Kroked> "Because it had caused me to become doomed"
[22:41] <~Kroked> "He took my memory to give em the best chance of succeeding i could"
[22:41] <Luna> "Oh.. Nona.."
[22:42] <~Kroked> "...yeah"
[22:42] <~Kroked> "Remember, how I told you I took Eri's memory?"
[22:42] <~Kroked> "That's what Delta did to me"
[22:43] <Luna> "Ah.."

[22:47] <~Kroked> "At that point, I had already met elly, and..."
[22:47] <~Kroked> Nate shakes his head
[22:48] <~Kroked> "I wanted to see her, I wanted to desperately"
[22:48] <Luna> "So thats how you figured out the whole 'love at first sight' thing?"
[22:48] <~Kroked> "But... I was afraid if I did, I'd leave Elly"
[22:48] <~Kroked> "No, I learned about that a long time later"
[22:48] <~Kroked> "But, I had loved her fiercly"
[22:48] <Luna> "Oh.."
[22:48] <~Kroked> "And I didn't trust myself to stay faithful if I met her again... I'm pathetic"
[22:50] <Luna> "Its ok.."
[22:52] <~Kroked> "...I checked on the kid a few times"
[22:53] <~Kroked> "Kaia named her Natalie"
[22:53] <Luna> "You did? Thats good, that means she made it out of that place ok right?"
[22:53] <~Kroked> "Yeah, she did"
[22:54] <~Kroked> "...Natalie was obsessed with finding her father"
[22:54] <~Kroked> "Kaia had raised her on stories about me"
[22:55] <~Kroked> "And had told her that she knew, somewhere, some place, I was still out there"
[22:57] <Luna> "Are.. are you still able to check on them? Maybe let them know your still around.."
[22:57] <~Kroked> "...I haven't gone to see her since"
[22:57] <~Kroked> "I could"
[22:57] <~Kroked> "I still have access to that timespace"
[22:57] <~Kroked> "...but I'm afraid"
[22:59] * Luna plays with her neckless under the blanket "Atleast let the kid know... not knowing what happened to one or both of your parents can really do a number on a kid.. I could even go with you if you want.."
[23:02] <~Kroked> "...I don't know Lu" he gives a sad smile "I mean, what would you do if your dad showed up out of nowhere in the company of another girl?"
[23:02] <~Kroked> "besides... if I went..."
[23:02] <~Kroked> "I'm not sure I'd ever come back"
[23:03] <~Kroked> Nate looks away trying not to let Luna see his expression
[23:03] * Luna looks up at Nate "...Id assume that was my mom.. cause havnt seen either of them.. remember.. And i would beat some sense into ya and drag you away if i had to.."
[23:05] <~Kroked> "If you could find a way to find me. Remeber, this is a place beyond the borders of your reality, a place most can't reach."
[23:05] <Luna> "Oh.. so Im stuck here and you cant take me with you.."
[23:06] <~Kroked> "...well"
[23:07] <~Kroked> "it's..." Nate stops himself
[23:07] * Luna stares at Nates face "...Its what?"
[23:07] <~Kroked> "I have to stop through nona every time i travel, even if its fr less than a  second"
[23:08] <~Kroked> "I'm an Angel, I'm part of the system, so, that's no biggy for me"
[23:08] <~Kroked> "...You'd be roped into it"
[23:09] <Luna> "Good. Then I just have to beat their stupid game.. and we could be together forever.."

[23:11] * Luna rests her head back against Nates chest and poutes "..Fine.."

[23:27] <Luna> "But you were on your own for a while since then right? Why would they just randomly decied to show up, what did they want?"
[23:28] <~Kroked> "I wasn't exactly on my own. I stayed with Elly, but I also stopped at Nona ocassionally"
[23:28] <~Kroked> "I found talking with the others interesting"
[23:29] <Luna> "Oh.."
[23:29] <~Kroked> "after all, they've been alive for countless years"
[23:30] <Luna> "Sorry.. its hard to keep all this stright sometimes.."

[23:42] <Luna> "Into your good graces? So do i have to keep her away from you too or what? And what do you mean by full name?"

[23:48] <Luna> "Not really familiar with that one, it kinda sounds like the evil thing from those kids stories though."
[23:48] <~Kroked> "On earth, Lucifer is the ultimate evil, the devil"
[23:48] <~Kroked> "The antithesis of all that is good"
[23:49] <Luna> "Why would someone name their kid that.."

[23:51] * Luna slowly looks up and stares at Nate
[23:52] * Luna lets out a giggle "So i threw around a god back then, neat."

[23:54] <Luna> has her smile slowly fade "Wait... why did we leave Eri and Vi with her then.."
[23:55] <~Kroked> "Like I said, It seems she needs me for something, so, she's trying to appeal to me"
[23:55] <~Kroked> "I don't think she'll do anything to harm them"
[23:56] <Luna> "Oh..ok.. i thought she was alittle over eager to watch over them.."
[23:58] <~Kroked> "Yeah... she was much nicer than the others had led me to beleive..."
[23:58] <~Kroked> "And I know i might act naive, but i find that suspicous"
[23:58] * Luna giggles " 'Act' "
[23:59] <~Kroked> "Oh shush you" nate sys, giving you a noogie
[00:00] * Luna lets out a laugh and snuggles against him again "So if she does snap or whatever, will you be able to tell from all the way out here?"
[00:02] <~Kroked> "I don't know for certain, but, I'm pretty sure if she went full angel, I'd feel it"
[00:02] <~Kroked> "After all, w eshare the same power source, the same patron"
[00:02] <Luna> "Alright, best not to worry about it to much then."
[00:04] <~Kroked> "Anyways, thats about it"
[00:06] <Luna> "What happened with everyone gathering for elly? Or was that kinda the end of that story too? Weve been jumpin around alot.."
[00:08] <~Kroked> "That was really the end. it was awkward. After that i just sort of... wandered, helping everyone i could who were close to being doomed"
[00:08] <~Kroked> "I was trying to save the doomed in my own way"
[00:09] <Luna> "Ah ok.."
[00:09] <~Kroked> "Sorry, Im not the best storyteller"
[00:10] * Luna shakes her head "Nah its ok, all that helped...so thanks.."
[00:14] <~Kroked> "You should try to get some sleep. I doubt your last nap was very restful."
[00:15] * Luna lets out a small yawn resting her head against nate sheepisly and grabs a hold of his shirt through the blanket "Ya, thats not a bad idea."
[00:16] <~Kroked> Nate places a hand on your head, stroking your hair "Sweet dreams Lu"
