[2014-01-17 16:31:45] * GreatAndPowerfulGM A young Stallion with currly red mane steers a tiny wood ship along the banks of the Missipony River, humming to himself while every now and then adjusting the uncofortably heavy vest he wore under his cloke. Pointing the tiny ship back towards Batpony Rouge he shades his brow to look up at a speck flying out across the shore.

[2014-01-17 16:32:40] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Reaching into a stuffed duffle bag near which rested a well cared for Gernade Luancher the stallion pressues a few curls from his face before bringing a pair of binoculars to his eyes. Smiling at what he sees in the distance he returns the benoculars carfuly, not wanting to disturb any of his pressious cargo.
  5. [2014-01-17 16:33:32] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Whiping out a flare gun the stallion loads a shell and aims it high in the air in the direction of the two beings he had attacked earlier and pulling the trigger.

  7. [2014-01-17 16:36:11] * Gerlinde keeps Flora close, talons wrapped around the mare's chest, as she flies. That bomber's out there somewhere... and he or she will be sorry!
  8. [2014-01-17 16:37:15] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Bright even in the evening as it was a lone flare streeks out above the Missipony from a tiny ship.

  10. [2014-01-17 16:41:35] * Thomas_OMalley flies down to Gerlinde and The_Blossom. "Over dere, padrons! I tink dat be de prey we seek!" The batpony points out the flare and the ship before regaining altitude, starting to head that way. The batpony is only wearing his saddles and his suit... he isn't dressed for combat. But he can at least provide air support.

[2014-01-17 16:42:05] * GreatAndPowerfulGM back at the sight of the bombing The NCR have now succesfully pulled out all the ponies from the building and shuttled them into carts heading for a proper medical facility. Putting up more bockades they inform the crowd this area is now closed of till further notice pending an investigation.
  12. [2014-01-17 16:43:09] * The_Blossom gives a nod, looking down. "Is they any way we can get in close without having him blow us up?"
  13. [2014-01-17 16:43:26] * Gerlinde strafes off to follow Thomas, grinning as she notes the ship he points out. "Yeah. Go in close before he blows us up."
  14. [2014-01-17 16:43:46] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Meanwhile at the ship the two injured mares down below have spilled all the information they can, Fathom has stepped in to put his hoof down saying that they need rest now and have told us all they can.
  15. [2014-01-17 16:44:23] * Thomas_OMalley nods to the two. "I'll provide you two wit some support up here! Dat twat be in for it!"
  16. [2014-01-17 16:44:26] * Midnight_Bliss Remains just above the ship, keeping an eye out for trouble and apparently completley missing the flare in all its burning glory
  17. [2014-01-17 16:44:44] * The_Blossom gives a small sigh. "Just if I die, it's on your shoulders... or lack of them if he blows them up."
  18. [2014-01-17 16:46:01] * Gerlinde huffs. "You won't." She rolls her eyes. "Doubt he can do shit once we're on him."
  19. [2014-01-17 16:46:11] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the red pony down below in the dingy appears to have cut the engines and is making no hasty moves.
  20. [2014-01-17 16:47:57] * GreatAndPowerfulGM one of the proffesors who was helping with the medical treatment gives Heartmend a pat on the back, "Thank you very much, your help was appreciated"
  21. [2014-01-17 16:48:26] * Gerlinde looks down to The_Blossom. "Ready?"
  22. [2014-01-17 16:48:43] * Cap_Rat smiles and turns to the captain. "Two more helping hooves might be helpful for all the trouble we are getting into, don't you think? Those two might not last long out there, and they have some idea of who we are up against."
  23. [2014-01-17 16:48:45] * The_Blossom nods, her whip out and ready
  24. [2014-01-17 16:49:03] * Thomas_OMalley continues to fly over head... keeping an eye on the dinghy and its occupant until Gerlinde and The_Blossom have things in hoof/hand, so he can fly in and help.
  25. [2014-01-17 16:50:14] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Fathom nods, "Thought so myself... which is why i have contracted them to stay on after you all get off at New hourseleans. Going to need a crew after I get this tub patched up"
  26. [2014-01-17 16:51:27] * Midnight_Bliss peers through her scope as she scans the local area
  27. [2014-01-17 16:52:49] * Heartmend nods to the thanks of the profesor
  28. [2014-01-17 16:54:10] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Midnight spots a increase of activity of guard after the explosions but beyond that the only other ruckus seems to be coming from the largest of the wearhouses near the docs where a small crowd of NCR have gathered.
  29. [2014-01-17 16:54:27] * Gerlinde grins and nods, wings flapping hard as she charges towards the ship to drop The_Blossom off!
  30. [2014-01-17 16:55:12] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the sky begins to turn a deep red as they plunge, the sun dipping behind the horizon and painting the clouds.
  31. [2014-01-17 16:55:34] * Midnight_Bliss narrows her eyes at the gathering of NCR and flaps, going into a stealth flying formation to get close and see what the commotion was about
  32. [2014-01-17 16:56:07] * Cap_Rat nods. "Well thought, captain! Might be best to move this ship somewhere else so this pony won't come at us with all his bombs."
  33. [2014-01-17 16:57:01] * Heartmend slowly wonders back to the ship stewing over the events that just took place
  34. [2014-01-17 16:57:03] * Thomas_OMalley continues his flying, but dips lower as Gerlinde and The_Blossom dive down, to keep a better eye on them both and the dinghy.
  35. [2014-01-17 16:59:07] * GreatAndPowerfulGM The crowd cosists of two officers questioning a mare dressed in work cloths while a hoof full of other officers inspect the area. Midnight can catch the tail end of there conversation, "And your sure he was obducted? becouse miss we dont see anything around here that would suggest foal play. If it were not for the sercumstances surround both the docks and the Institute today I would be more than a little skeptical..."
  36. [2014-01-17 17:00:38] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Fathom nods again, fishing out a pipe and some smoking tobacco, "Again we find ourselves thinking along the same lines. We will be heading out tonight as soon as the crew is back on deck".
  37. [2014-01-17 17:03:30] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the mare at the dock house huffs, "But im telling you what I saw, it was the little squirlly colt from the Academy, the crazy haired colt just showed up and gave him a right wack across the head! then dragged him off"
  38. [2014-01-17 17:04:33] * Midnight_Bliss cocks an ear at the possible abduction, taking note of her description of the assailant
  39. [2014-01-17 17:06:19] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Gerlinde and Blossom pelt towards the boat, deploying the caped crusader of justice at just the right moment to land her square in the center of the tiny ship which rocks and bucks at the sudden strike. The red maned pony with bright yellow coat smiles at the Masked Mare, his gernade rifle out of reach at his hooves and the flare resting near him.
  40. [2014-01-17 17:06:22] <Cap_Rat> "That's cool, but right now we still are on the same place they attacked us before. Captain, we might be better off on the other side of the docks."
  41. [2014-01-17 17:07:07] * The_Blossom stares the pony in the eyes. "Halt what you're doing villian! You will be stopped by, The Blossom!"
  42. [2014-01-17 17:07:23] * Thomas_OMalley keeps a tufted ear pointed down toward the boat as he circles it, his silver eyes alternating between watching the dinghy and the surrounding area.
  43. [2014-01-17 17:08:43] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the Pony shrugs, "Well in that case I might as well turn myself over to-", Raising his hooves into the air he air quotes the words as he speaks, "The Blossom". Snerking he laughs a bit and looks at her with a smile.
  44. [2014-01-17 17:08:53] * Gerlinde frowns, stopping in mid air. She -was- going to just hit him, but Blossom wants to talk. Boring.
  45. [2014-01-17 17:08:59] * Gerlinde frowns. "Can I hit him yet?"
  46. [2014-01-17 17:09:38] * The_Blossom stops, looking over him. " Gerlinde, search him."
  47. [2014-01-17 17:10:07] * Thomas_OMalley continues to watch and listen, unsure of the stallion's attitude. This... this is odd.
  48. [2014-01-17 17:10:13] * GreatAndPowerfulGM looks backwards, "Oh I love knocking ponies out, you know if you aim for the back of there necks you risk killing htem before you learn anything important though". Raising his hooves again from under his cloak he holds them up in surrender, smile still on his face.
  49. [2014-01-17 17:10:22] * Midnight_Bliss steps out from her hideing place "Who did the snatching, and can you give me any other descriptive notes about him or where they went?"
  50. [2014-01-17 17:10:40] * Gerlinde rolls her eyes, dropping down to the ship and curling her wings. "Boring, but fine." She approaches the stallion, eyes narrowing. "Stay still. I -definitely- don't need a reason to slash you."
  51. [2014-01-17 17:11:56] * GreatAndPowerfulGM "Miss this is an official investi-", before the NCR officer can continue his companion whispers in his ear, nodding he looks back. "Fine, were done here anyway. Spent to much time here that we could have put to better use somewhere ells today. To much crazy stuff going on anyhow".
  52. [2014-01-17 17:12:41] * Gerlinde moves right next to the stallion, talons reaching to search his saddlebags and any other places her might be hiding things.
  53. [2014-01-17 17:12:50] <GreatAndPowerfulGM> Raising her hoof to slow the guard down the dock pony sighs before looking up at Midnight, "Well.. it was a young stallion with crazy red mane, real mess... just came up behind him and cracked him over the back of the head with a pipe".
  54. [2014-01-17 17:13:59] * Midnight_Bliss nods "Which way did they go? and could you notice anything else about him? supplies, smells?"
  55. [2014-01-17 17:14:02] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Fathom shrugs, "Rather stay here but that aint a half bad idea"
  56. [2014-01-17 17:15:52] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the Saddle bags are filled with explosives of various sorts along with necissities of travel, food and water along with other supplies. Clearing his throught the pony shakes his head, "Be carful with that stuff, im giong to need it when I leave your custody, also little birdy may touch the wrong thing and blow us sky high. Oh and when you search me be carful where you go poking around, those are only the small stuff".
  57. [2014-01-17 17:16:43] * Gerlinde frowns, confused. "Not even trying to hide it...?"
  58. [2014-01-17 17:17:11] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the mare nods, "Yes, umm... he had a huge duffle bag, old military surpluss it looked like, and a rebreather, after he dragged him on I think I heard a splash down in the water. ... OH! also he seemed to want to take a look at his paperwork".
  59. [2014-01-17 17:17:58] * The_Blossom shakes her head. "He has a back up plan." She says. "You are rather inteligent." She compliments the bomber pony, or at least who she assumes he is.
  60. [2014-01-17 17:18:43] * Midnight_Bliss raised a brow "Splash in the water and a rebreather? so...he went for a swim" she thought it over "His paperwork? Do you know what kind of paperwork?"
  61. [2014-01-17 17:19:16] * GreatAndPowerfulGM smiles, "Thanks, i get that allot your very....", scrunching up his face he looks her over, "Flamboiant, also the one I talked to on the radio right?"
  62. [2014-01-17 17:19:53] * Gerlinde flashes her brass-covered talons. "So... might as well end him before he uses the explosives," She looks back to The_Blossom. "right?"
  63. [2014-01-17 17:20:36] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the mare nods again, "yes, he was fom the academy finacial department, he would come down here to take stock of whatever it was they brought in, real pencil pusher if you know what I mean. Those papers must have been some manifest for something that was coming in for the Academy of one of the Proffessors"
  64. [2014-01-17 17:21:09] * The_Blossom shakes her head to Gerlinde. "No, he has information we need." She says simply. "I'll take that as a compliment. And yes, I am the one you attempted to blow up with your ship."
  65. [2014-01-17 17:21:40] * Midnight_Bliss looked at the mare "Manifest..." she said before looking off "Quickly, tell me which direction he dragged the victim to, "
  66. [2014-01-17 17:21:43] * Thomas_OMalley flies in closer, the batpony's curiosity leading him on as he continues to listen and watch.
  67. [2014-01-17 17:22:01] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the stallion smiles, "Well then you are either very skilled over very lucky, still, i doubt you want to try and outrun another one so I woudnt rock this boat to much or it wont just be us who is in trouble".
  68. [2014-01-17 17:22:14] * Cap_Rat pats the Captains shoulder. "Trust me, it's a good idea." He turns to the others. "Didn't catch your names, by the way. I'm Cap Rat."
  69. [2014-01-17 17:22:19] * Gerlinde huffs. "Stupid ponies." She places her talon back on the ground. "Later then."
  70. [2014-01-17 17:22:30] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the mare points over near the docks to the water.
  71. [2014-01-17 17:23:36] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the two look at each other before answering, "Im Deep Current and this is Sandy Shells"
  72. [2014-01-17 17:23:56] * Thomas_OMalley flies in closer. "Who else would dat be, padron?"
  73. [2014-01-17 17:25:27] * The_Blossom thinks for a moment, remembering back to the sewers. "What place do you have rigged?"
  74. [2014-01-17 17:25:43] * GreatAndPowerfulGM looks up before shrugging off the cape, revealing two very interesting things. The bomb vest he is wearing and the "Dead Pony" pressure detonator his back hoof is holding depressed. "Well that would be us and the ponies near the other pile of explosives this triggers when I let go"

  76. [2014-01-17 17:27:12] * Midnight_Bliss flaps her wings and flys towards the place she pointed, scouring the area for clues
  77. [2014-01-17 17:27:46] * Cap_Rat smiles. "Sorry for the rough introduction, but you know how these jobs are right? See you later." He turns to leave. "Take good care of them, captain, I'll go do some recon." He sets out to leave the boat.
  78. [2014-01-17 17:27:50] * Heartmend comes up to the ships gang plank and see's Midnight_Bliss talking to some pony she has not seen before "Hmmm... Who can that be?" as she trots over to them
  79. [2014-01-17 17:28:00] * Thomas_OMalley eyes widen momentarily before he regains his composure, smiling. He comes in to hover over the dinghy. "Ah, den dat explains de confidence. So, den de flare, it was for our attention?"
  80. [2014-01-17 17:28:42] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Cap Rat can see Midnight not to far away flying off the dock towards teh water.
  81. [2014-01-17 17:29:14] * GreatAndPowerfulGM nods to Thomas, "Yes, saved me the trip all the way back to the docks"
  82. [2014-01-17 17:30:16] * Thomas_OMalley taps his muzzle. "So, den dere must be someting dat you want."
  83. [2014-01-17 17:30:36] * The_Blossom nods, keeping very calm about all this. "I thought you might do something like this." She says. "I have friends working on finding and disabling your bombs"
  84. [2014-01-17 17:31:59] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Bidnight spots a bulge in the gritty sand deposit under the dock and flying closer sees that it there is a shallow motion disturbing it, the edges of a tarp can be seen just barely under the sand.

[2014-01-17 17:33:29] * GreatAndPowerfulGM nods, "Which is why im afraid im going to have to be quick about this, see you have an item I belive my employer wants very much and if I dont get it back to him... well Im going to try and do my best to get it back to him. Now if that means killing inocent ponies in the effort than I dont care much, but I think you would like to do this the easy way and hoof it over volentarily"

  87. [2014-01-17 17:34:14] * Gerlinde growls, stepping forward. "He's not gonna do it. He doesn't want to die, and he knows that we don't either." She grins, a single talon tracing the stallion's cheek, not quite enough pressure to draw blood. "He wants to live, so as long as we don't kill him... he'll tell us what we want." She smirks. "So, who's more willing to die?"
  88. [2014-01-17 17:34:47] * Heartmend shrugs and heads off to the ships med bay
  89. [2014-01-17 17:35:05] * Cap_Rat looks in the direction Midnight went, trying to spot her target.
  90. [2014-01-17 17:35:11] * The_Blossom smirks. "So honestly, at this point. Your only two options are to try and make us hand the item over, or kill yourself and possibly only maim us."
  91. [2014-01-17 17:36:10] * Thomas_OMalley nods. "Ah... what item might dat be? Seen many of dem while I been working... though..." The batpony looks the stallion over. "My padron brings up a point. De switch... well, de Missipony, she be quite choppy at night. One wrong swell and..." The batpony waves his hooves in a vague mushroom cloud-shaped gesture. "Perhaps we can make a deal, no?"
  92. [2014-01-17 17:38:02] * Gerlinde shakes her head at Thomas. "No deal." She turns to the stallion. "The difference between you and I, is that I'm willing to risk it." Smirking, Gerlinde leans in to whisper into the stallion's ear, "Or maybe there isn't. Do it."
  93. [2014-01-17 17:38:23] * GreatAndPowerfulGM pouts a bit, before glancing down. "Oh, so you think im full of it do you?". Tapping his chin he nods, "I guess you could be right.... I could be deperate and just feeding you a load of crap right now... but I guess there is just one way to find out for sure". He lifts his hoof quickly.

  95. [2014-01-17 17:40:10] * The_Blossom quickly tosses a watermelon seed near the dead pressure switch and starts to cast her magic.
  96. [2014-01-17 17:41:38] * Midnight_Bliss stood on her hind legs, flapping her wings hard to blow the sand from the tarp beneath
  97. [2014-01-17 17:43:44] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the sand billows away to reveal a small tarp under which is a pony shaped object breathing shallowly.
  98. [2014-01-17 17:44:31] * Midnight_Bliss trots forward, grabbing the edge of the tarp in her mouth and dragging it aside

[2014-01-17 17:45:15] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the red maned pony grins manically as the device is triggered, beeping as... confetty shoots out of small pockets on his vest with a pop while a digital countdown reader starts counting down seconds on a timer reading 10 mins. Cackling the crazed pony falls back. "Bwahahaha, oh you should have seen the looks on your faces!"
  100. [2014-01-17 17:45:55] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Below the tarp is the stallion from the academy earlier today at the dock, a rather nasty welt rising on the back of his head.
  101. [2014-01-17 17:46:12] * Thomas_OMalley blinks down at the stallion. "Dat... dat was perverse. The_Blossom, Gerlinde, you know anypony good wit a bomb? My skills be in mechanics."
  102. [2014-01-17 17:46:50] * The_Blossom lets out a soft sigh. "I do not." She says simply. "Anyways, get this pony into our custody, we need to warn someone about the bombs."
  103. [2014-01-17 17:47:10] * Gerlinde rolls her eyes. "Thought you were bullshit." She glances at The_Blossom. "Can I -please- hit him now?"
  104. [2014-01-17 17:47:29] <The_Blossom> "Punch him as hard as you want, don't kill him."
  105. [2014-01-17 17:47:46] * Midnight_Bliss drags the academy pony up, and smacks his cheeks a bit "Hey, can you hear me?"

  107. [2014-01-17 17:48:19] * Thomas_OMalley thinks for a moment... and thinks... and his eyes widen! "Gerlinde, get Midnight. She ken help wit de bomb."

  110. [2014-01-17 17:48:28] * Midnight_Bliss looks up "Great, where is that bleeding heart doctor when you need him"
  111. [2014-01-17 17:48:50] * Gerlinde grins, stalking over the stallion's laughing frame. "I take punch as slash." Raising her hoof, Gerlinde takes a swipe at the stallion's form!

  121. [2014-01-17 17:58:14] * Thomas_OMalley flies down next to Gerlinde. "Gerlinde, get Midnight! She can stop de bombs from going off! I'll get de boat back to de docks."
  122. [2014-01-17 17:58:52] * Gerlinde huffs, glances down at the bomber. "But Thomas... I'm sure she's already on it!"
  123. [2014-01-17 17:59:35] <The_Blossom> "GERLINDE!" The_Blossom shouts. "GO NOW."
  124. [2014-01-17 17:59:38] * GreatAndPowerfulGM The bomber nods, "Oh good, the docks. The item I want is there, lets get under way at once". Clapping his hoovs together he grins, "Chop chop"
  125. [2014-01-17 18:00:39] <The_Blossom> "Thomas, I have an idea on where the bombs exactly are, I want you to see if you can get any info out of this insane pony." She tells Thomas_OMalley. "I'm no good at getting info from ponies."

  130. [2014-01-17 18:04:42] * Thomas_OMalley looks about the boat for the controls for the engine and the rudder. "So, dis may take a bit, but I ken get us dere. Who wants dis ting so badly dat dey want you to die for it?"

[2014-01-17 18:07:00] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Nitro shrugs, "Sompony with caps, not a huge concern with other ponies lives, and a real thing for privacy", looking down at the vest he pokes at the digital read out. "Humm... I wonder if I had enough time to calibrate this close enough, wouldnt want the finale to early"
