  4. The Earth moves according to Heavens' laws.

  6. Some seek power, others long for fortune or immortality.
  7. And some seek all of the above.
  8.  
  9. The wickedness within mankind shall not perish as long as the earth moves.
  10. Yet pursuing man's desires left them exposed to failure time and time again.
  11.  
  12. For the longest time, this place was a nation known for its beautiful
  13. beaches where seagulls flocked above the calm sea.
  14. However, like the many misfortunes that terrorised the land itself,
  15. its king, starving for power, made one misstep after another.
  16.  
  17. As King Badorrer grew old, dignity and power faded alongside his vitality.
  18. His heart's unrest was publicly projected as extortion and misgovernment.
  19. In a struggle to mend his power, the King had prison island Bellsadce built.
  20.  
  21. As time passed by, unexpected events followed one after another.
  22. Including the discovery of ruins or encounters with people.
  23.  
  24. Whether it were revelations of deities or whispers of the devil,
  25. everything was entrusted to those who understood.
  26.  
  27. One such worldwide renowned prophet was Benedicte.
  28. Wherever he went, lands grew closer to one another.
  29.  
  30. An ancient statue discovered in Bundevia had started to emit a faint light.
  31.  
  32. "When the source to control all awakes, the statue will radiate..."
  33. Knowing what was written in the scriptures of yore, King Badorrer
  34. had the prophet to foretell the location of said power.
  35.  
  36. The prophet knew. About the false King's ambitions, and his own fate...
  37. He interpreted everything as a warning, and told what he had witnessed.
  38.  
  39. The swordsman who returned from the underworld alive.
  40. Holding one fragment of said power,
  41. he wanders through the remote outskirts of Bundevia.
  42.  
  43. Like the dense fog at night, Bundevia was shrouded in an opaque wickedness.
  44. the cursed lesser nations of Vittoria and Bundevia.
  45.  
  46. The ancient statue, once hailed as the "source to control all" and hidden in
  47. Vittoria as a bad omen, now radiates with a faint light.
  48.  
  49. In the end, they waited for the promised swordsman...
  50.  
  51. More than two years had passed since Benedicte's prediction.
