- The Earth moves according to Heavens' laws.
- Some seek power, others long for fortune or immortality.
- And some seek all of the above.
- The wickedness within mankind shall not perish as long as the earth moves.
- Yet pursuing man's desires left them exposed to failure time and time again.
- For the longest time, this place was a nation known for its beautiful
- beaches where seagulls flocked above the calm sea.
- However, like the many misfortunes that terrorised the land itself,
- its king, starving for power, made one misstep after another.
- As King Badorrer grew old, dignity and power faded alongside his vitality.
- His heart's unrest was publicly projected as extortion and misgovernment.
- In a struggle to mend his power, the King had prison island Bellsadce built.
- As time passed by, unexpected events followed one after another.
- Including the discovery of ruins or encounters with people.
- Whether it were revelations of deities or whispers of the devil,
- everything was entrusted to those who understood.
- One such worldwide renowned prophet was Benedicte.
- Wherever he went, lands grew closer to one another.
- An ancient statue discovered in Bundevia had started to emit a faint light.
- "When the source to control all awakes, the statue will radiate..."
- Knowing what was written in the scriptures of yore, King Badorrer
- had the prophet to foretell the location of said power.
- The prophet knew. About the false King's ambitions, and his own fate...
- He interpreted everything as a warning, and told what he had witnessed.
- The swordsman who returned from the underworld alive.
- Holding one fragment of said power,
- he wanders through the remote outskirts of Bundevia.
- Like the dense fog at night, Bundevia was shrouded in an opaque wickedness.
- the cursed lesser nations of Vittoria and Bundevia.
- The ancient statue, once hailed as the "source to control all" and hidden in
- Vittoria as a bad omen, now radiates with a faint light.
- In the end, they waited for the promised swordsman...
- More than two years had passed since Benedicte's prediction.
