People were stampeding out of the square. Metallo had plucked a large metal statue of a general on a horse out of the pavement and tossed it at a bus.
In White’s office, they heard the low thud of the statue crashing into the bus, but they were too high up to hear the terrified screams of the people fleeing Metallo’s mayhem.
