#PastebinMonday 10/30/2023 One Video at a Time Edition

'Sup, doods!

I need help. I keep buying things to attach to my desk and arrange my cables more cleanly , but it puts off the entire process of cleaning everything up. At the moment, I've put away all of my consoles and piled a bunch of A/V cables on top of my TV until I get the rest of the attachments. My desk looks unsightly and unmanageable at the moment. However, it will lead to a much more optimized setup for future streams. I bought this adjustable desk to be able to rise up on stream and, damn it, I intend to make use of it. Ooh, there's a potential bid war option to raise and lower the desk.  One big element I want to make use of in rebranding the live streams is making use of options—options for presenting the stream, options for interacting with the stream, options for supporting the stream, options for... viewing the stream? I really want to get deep in the weeds with giving people options and that might turn out to be the biggest hurdle for making progress. I just need to power through what I can during the week and I've been bad at sleeping through the week lately.

Really, if it's going to be a minute before I can arrange everything at my desk where I want it to be, I need to actually start working on my PB videos. I see you doods enjoying the Suika Game video I made.  aMSa is really making my depiction of the leaderboards out of date, huh? It's almost giving me the itch again. Almost. Perhaps I need to make more videos like that going forward? I would consider it if that entire process did not take a whole week. A whole week to speedrun and record a video about it, huh? That reminds me of a concept in and of itself that some people have tried to make into a regular YouTube series. Maybe if I had more time. Right now, I just want to get through all of the videos I have in front me and focus on one video at a time.

Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:

Goal #4: edit my personal best runs. I've lost count of how many runs I have to highlight.
Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I have some scripts left to touch up before feeling comfortable with moving on to recording gameplay. Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. This is the big thing I hope to get done before the next tournament.
Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to give people multiple options, maybe allow spending bits to change the look. I don't have anything written down yet. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon.
Goal #7: maybe make a universal LPS broadcast layout. I have a base, but perhaps I should stylize one for the LPS brand. Let's just say I have plans. Hopefully I wouldn't over-homogenize it like SpeedGaming did.
Goal #8: release the Puzzle League tutorial series YouTube shorts once a day until they're all done. I really do think I need to time the release of the series with a ramping up of my streaming schedule so that I can take advantage of whatever there is to gain from releasing the shorts.

Streams are on hold until I accomplish these goals. Anything I decide to do will be of the guerilla variety and have very little notice. There would probably have to be community races of some sort in order to get this to happen.
