  1. I've managed to compile a list of 273188 words that should all work in BombParty. [**Here**](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/YoungsterGlenn/bpDictionaryStatistics/master/dictionary.txt "Too long for pastebin.")'s a link to said word list. For reference, there were [273277](https://i.imgur.com/cZFFEoX.png "Why did I have to have the mouse pointer over the one line that mattered?") words in the dictionary on 2015-05-13 (at 19:25 UTC). About an hour after that, hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia was added at the request of Flabjoe, bringing the **total BombParty word count** up to **273278**. As far as I'm aware, no words have been added or removed from the dictionary since. (Notably, I'm almost certain handicrafsman and handicrafsmen were removed before the time of the picture.) This means that only 90 unknown words remain.

  3. What's new about this particular list of words is that I've found about 760 words that were previously undocumented and probably for the most part unknown. (These are the kinds of words that Inan's bot doesn't know if you ask it.) As I'm sure most of you know, the BombParty dictionary was extended in January to include the dictionaries [enable1](http://norvig.com/ngrams/enable1.txt "Nearly every word with over 15 letters is from here, and so are most science words.") and [SOWPODS](http://norvig.com/ngrams/sowpods.txt "A very comprehensive international English scrabble word dictionary, with words and spellings from most English-speaking countries."). (I do not mention [TWL06](http://norvig.com/ngrams/TWL06.txt "The American scrabble tournament word list.") since it is a subset of SOWPODS.) These dictionaries contain 172823 and 267751 words, respectively, and combine to form a list of 272405 words. This means that only 873 of the words from the BombParty dictionary are in neither enable1 nor SOWPODS. The list I include at the beginning of this post thus contains [783 additional words](http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=0TL7YdRU "I guess this one's short enough for pastebin.").

  5. I won't go into too much detail concerning where these words came from, mostly because they are from multiple sources. I have however tested all of them manually in-game by copying and pasting them from a text document to avoid misspellings. If somebody doesn't trust me and would like to test the words, [here](http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=2FmP8DL0 "Pastebin again!")'s the same word list approximately sorted by ascending probability of solving a generated prompt. (I say approximately because I know for a fact that my probability calculations are inaccurate. However, the exact means of prompt generation are not known—and neither is the complete dictionary—so it is not actually possible to do entirely accurate computations anyway.)

  7. Most of the "new" words are words with prefixes (anti-, counter-, hyper-, in-, mini-, non-, over-, pre-, re-, super-, un-), but here are some particularly fun ones:
  8.
  9. *antieavesdropping* (only IEA solve)
  10. *extraclassroom*
  11. *frankforter*
  12. *gaywing* (the plural of which is in both enable1 and sowpods and which was referenced in [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/BombParty/comments/37e43k/reasons_to_hate_jelly/ "More like reason to hate Jelly."))
  13. *hadjs* (only DJS solve)
  14. *hajjs* (only JJS solve)
  15. *jacqueline* (new word with both J and Q, but no plural)
  16. *kalamazoo*
  17. *kaleidoscopical*
  18. *karnofsky*
  19. *looseleaf* (loose-leaf tea is the best tea)
  20. *mccaffrey* (only MCC solve)
  21. *straightforwarder*/*straightforwardest*
  22. *unwas* (???)
  23. *upsidedown* (when is thighhighs?)
  24. *wednesday* (the only relevant day of the week it seems)
  25.
  26. If somebody knows of one or more words that work and that I've missed, please do let me know—at this point every additional word is a pretty big contribution.
