  1. Setting Notes
  2. Egama is a half-globe world with a flat top upon which of various biomes and climates. It is nestled in the branches of a cosmically-large tree that travels through space. The technology level is similar to the pre-renaissance period of Earth. The themes include exploration, survival, dungeon delving, advancement of social status, and acquisition of wealth and power.
  3.
  4. For making and naming your character, I have a few guidelines that I follow but really you can do what you like.
  5. Humans- primarily German, French, and British Island type names for me but you can follow whatever aesthetic or reference you like as long as it reflects the time period.
  6. Dwarves- I like to use Dutch names for characters and places but you can translate them in English if you like.
  7. Elves- Finnish. If you're making up a country or region they're from, come up with a couple descriptor words, put them in a Finnish translator, then make it a compound name from the first syllables or so.
  8. Halfings- Russians, because they make me think of potatoes.
  9.
  10. Those are the most popular races so they're the ones I'll write stuff out for but if you want to play something else then just ask me about names and things for authenticity.

  14. Deities are split into gods and immortals. Gods are more powerful and based on alignments, while immortals are more like ascended heroes. Anyone is capable of becoming an immortal through the right circumstances. Generally speaking immortals are the ones who you'll be praying to or calling for aid/power from, as gods are more distant and subtle. Immortals are also greater in number and more prone to personification of familiar concepts. Feel free to make one up of your own.
  15.
  16. Campaign Pitch- It's been almost a year since the civil war in the nation of Ohmist has ended. You are in the capitol and getting on a boat to take you to your destination. What was your involvement in the war? Where do you plan on going?
  17.
  18. Ohmist Civil War notes- The war was between rebels who desired independence after a military coup pledged allegiance of the country to a foreign elvish nation. It ended in the defeat of the rebels.
  19. The rebel faction included-
  20. Ohmist United Rebellion(humans/dwarves)
  21. The Kingdom of Del Vance(Mixed, mostly human)
  22. The Kingdom of Hamersberg(Dwarves)
  23. Druidic Circle of Elamat(Mixed, mostly elves)
  24. Elamat Alliance(included the elvish nation of Virh-Laak and others)
  25. The establishment faction included-
  26. The Si-Rau Government(Elves)
