Alright, here goes... This is Cheetah Ivanov, Site Advisor at Site-65, and I've been through some weird stuff, but this one really got under my skin.

It all started when Engallagher Ludenberg, our Director of Research, got kidnapped by the Chaos Insurgency. The negotiations were going nowhere, as they always do. Mirai Archaeus, our local thauma and formally the Research Lead of Thaumatology, decided he'd take action himself. He was visibly pissed and the next thing I know, Nu-7 are saying someone's riding a humvee at full speed out the gates. Of course, I turned him back, promising him a "safer" and more secure approach. I had no such solution, but I had to try. Mirai said he was going to bring Engallagher back, and that sounded like a death wish to me.

The tensions were quite high in Research hall whenI called Mirai to talk about it. An executive, "Toaste", offered to sacrifice his own energy or blood to help Mirai with his insane plan. I don't know why the fuck that would happen, but Mirai declined anyway and used his own blood. Next thing we knew, he disappeared in a huge ass sigil on the ground.

Minutes later, Mirai and Engallagher were back, materializing out of thin air. No official records on this teleportation method, but the staff seemed oddly familiar with it, which is troubling in itself. Hell, I even saw it a few times before and no files mention it. I didn't waste time; I ordered MTF Epsilon-11 to detain Mirai. This kind of unregulated power can't just go unchecked.

The Medbay confrontation was tense. Mirai demanded an explanation, not threatening anyone, but he had Azura's Katana in hand. Formally, that's uhhh... 'SCP-8903-B-1', right. After I explained the situation, he lowered the weapon and let himself be detained without further drama. Through all the shouting from the MTFs, I think I heard him say: "You know what, sure. Let's see what you got in plan, Cheetah."; Is that really what you tell a superior when you're considered a threat?!

We moved him to the HCZ Non-specialized containment area, specifically the SCP-TYPE-GREEN-A chamber. Luckily, the guy wasn't there. But here's the kicker: What really prompted me to order recontainment was that... when he returned to the site, regardless of the method, the first thing I hear in comms was 'All who know will sing glory to Lord Mirai when my seals are broken.' What the hell does that mean? I, for one, don't want to find out.

When he willingly let himself be caged and the situation was considered settled... he laughed gently, as if to a child... and just teleported out of the chamber, behind me. As it turns out, he just sat there because, and I quote, 'I thought it would make you feel safer, no?' like the walls didn't exist and the suppression field was a joke.

While discussing it, I tried calling for the Council for assistance, or at least a word of advice... I was merely told: 'Is that how you reward someone who rescued a hostage?' What the hell do I do now? No thanks, if this is what I gotta deal with and [I]ACCEPT[/I] it... I'm resigning.
