[21:04]	* [Pyg]Hilde	gives up wiping her fogging glasses and takes them off, squinting in the direction of Maya.

[21:09]	<[Mode]Maya>	Ye-yeah, but...
[21:10]	* [Mode]Maya	starts to lose concentration due to her embarrassment, and her wings slowly fade back into view once more, which seems to make her even more embarrassed as she slowly walks towards the bath.

[21:23]	* [Mode]Maya	seriously considers it for a moment, until she remembers the itching in her wings.
[21:23]	<[Mode]Maya>	Ah, I need to though... Hmm.
[21:23]	* [Mode]Maya	finally gets the courage to approach the bath and slip in, but enver takes the towel away from her body.
[21:23]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	You're going to bathe with that on?
[21:24]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	It'll be hard to clean you that way.
[21:25]	<[Mode]Maya>	Y-you know, they say that seeing an Angel in all her glory can blind someone. So maybe... it's safer if I keep it on...
[21:26]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Oh?
[21:26]	* [Pyg]Hilde	replaces her glasses on her face.
[21:27]	* [Pyg]Hilde	can't see through the fogged up lenses.
[21:27]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	These are magic lenses!
[21:27]	* [huh]Aki	heasitantly slips int the bath, somewhat heeping a distance from the other two. Her towel is held tightly over her chest.
[21:29]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Eh? Who just got in?
[21:31]	* [Mode]Maya	looks over at Aki.
[21:31]	<[Mode]Maya>	Aki did.
[21:32]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Ah, welcome, fraulein!
[21:32]	<[huh]Aki>	Hello.
[21:33]	* [huh]Aki	nods to Hilde.
[21:35]	* [Pyg]Hilde	wipes the fog of her lenses again.

[21:43]	* [Mode]Maya	tries as best as she can to slip as far beneath the water line as she can get before trying to remove her towel.
[21:43]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Ah, you don't really have to. I understand it'll take time for you to get used to things down here with us.
[21:44]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Things are probably much nicer there than here anyway.

[21:45]	<[Mode]Maya>	No fighting, no dirt, no troubles...

[21:45]	* [Mode]Maya	grimaces at the memory of the recent mission.
[21:45]	<[huh]Aki>	Ah? Where do you come from, Maya?
[21:46]	<[Mode]Maya>	Oh? Uh... it doesn't have a name in the human world, but it's... something like a district I think. A part of the Celestial Realm, which I guess would be 'Heaven' to humans...
[21:47]	<[Mode]Maya>	I work directly under some other Angels and Seraphim, but I'm still just a novice.
[21:49]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Novice? How does that work?
[21:50]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	I thought your kind would just, say, fly about singing God's praises or something like that.
[21:51]	<[huh]Aki>	Ah? So there is a God? Have you met him?
[21:54]	<[Mode]Maya>	Well... it's complicated. That's another part of it I guess. Uh, I think you would call it 'Information Control'? There's actually a lot of work involved. No one but the Seraphim get to see the boss, but Jay comes around sometimes to talk to us. He's a pretty good guy. Most of the time though, I take my orders from my superiors, who get their orders from The Voice. I handle Prayers, as a...
[21:54]	<[Mode]Maya>	...novice though, I only handle small issues, like making sure someone has a good morning, or passes an important test.
[21:54]	* [Pyg]Hilde	dips her face into the water a little bit and starts blowing bubbles.
[21:54]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	...That doesn't sound any different than down here.
[21:55]	<[Mode]Maya>	Y-yeah... except, we don't have disgruntled workers, and no one hates their job or complains.
[21:55]	<[Mode]Maya>	Well, almost no one...
[21:56]	<[huh]Aki>	Well isn't that something?
[21:56]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	So...Why, then, are you down here among us, fraulein?
[21:57]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	You don't sound very pleased with how our previous mission turned out.
[22:00]	<[Mode]Maya>	Well, I was down in the human world on a job when this weird old guy appeared out of nowhere and started mumbling to himself. I hadn't seen anything like that, so I followed him a bit, and... kind of accidentally ended up on this space station because of it, so I just pretended I've been here all along and tried to blend in because I was curious about what the humans have been doing.
[22:01]	<[huh]Aki>	And nobody's come looking for you?
[22:04]	<[Mode]Maya>	W-well...
[22:04]	<[Mode]Maya>	I kind of... cut my connection... a little...
[22:04]	<[huh]Aki>	Oh, a runaway?
[22:04]	* [Pyg]Hilde	grabs a bottle of shampoo and begins lathering her hair
[22:04]	* [Mode]Maya	flushes a little.
[22:06]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Fraulein, don't pry.
[22:08]	* [Pyg]Hilde	gathers all the foam that built up in her hair and blows it at the other two.
[22:09]	<[huh]Aki>	I'm just asking, she doesn't have to answer.
[22:10]	<[Mode]Maya>	I didn't run away...
[22:11]	* [Mode]Maya	mumbles to herself a little bit, then shifts her position a little, starting to get uncomfortable in her current position.
[22:11]	<[huh]Aki>	Ah, don't take it too hard. Relax, this is a bath after all. Forget your cares for a while.
[22:11]	* [Pyg]Hilde	dunks her head in the water to wash her hair.
[22:12]	<[Mode]Maya>	Yeah...
[22:12]	* [huh]Aki	stretches, raising her arms above her head. Without her realizing, her towel drops off.
[22:14]	* [huh]Aki	blinks, and looks at the towel.
[22:15]	<[huh]Aki>	Uwah!
[22:16]	* [huh]Aki	hurriedly submerges herself.
[22:16]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Hmm?
[22:16]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	What's the matter?
[22:16]	<[huh]Aki>	...Nothing...
[22:16]	* [Mode]Maya	doesn't even notice Aki's condition until she makes a sound about it, looking over just in time to catch the girl dunking her body.
[22:16]	<[Mode]Maya>	You dropped your towel, didn't you?
[22:17]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	We're in a bath, what's wrong with that?
[22:17]	<[huh]Aki>	Ah... yes.
[22:17]	<[huh]Aki>	Well, it's just...
[22:17]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Ah, you're not hiding any horrible scars are you?
[22:18]	* [huh]Aki	absentmindedly runs a finger across her smooth chest.
[22:20]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Come on...
[22:20]	* [Pyg]Hilde	splashes some water playfully in Aki's direction.
[22:20]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	...What's wrong, fraulein?
[22:21]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	You can tell me.

[22:30]	* [Mode]Maya	sits forward and takes a position where she can hold her wings up, stretching them out a little.

[22:31]	* [Pyg]Hilde	is awestruck by the size of the girl's wings.
[22:32]	* [Pyg]Hilde	snaps out of it. Sure, she's seen them before, but never this close. She's almost afraid to touch them, worried they're more fragile than they look.
[22:33]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Your wings are quite beautiful, fraulein.
[22:33]	* [Mode]Maya	blushes a little at the compliment.
[22:33]	<[Mode]Maya>	I-I suppose. They're normal for an Angel, so...
[22:35]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Even so, humans don't get a chance to see this kind of thing.
[22:36]	* [Pyg]Hilde	takes the bucket sitting by the side of the tub and fills it halfway with water.
[22:36]	<[Mode]Maya>	When they do, they tend to write a book about it...
[22:37]	<[huh]Aki>	Man, it's like something straight out of a manga, isn't it...
[22:37]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Haha, I suppose. Oh, and, uh, this might surprise you a little.
[22:38]	* [Pyg]Hilde	waits a moment and then empties the bucket onto Maya's left wing.
[22:39]	<[huh]Aki>	Are they really soft? They are, right?
[22:39]	<[huh]Aki>	It must be nice~
[22:40]	* [Mode]Maya	twitches a little as the water runs over her wing, and instinctively flutters it a little, flinging water everywhere.
[22:40]	<[Mode]Maya>	They are kind of soft... maybe... I guess I don't know what not having them would be like, so...
[22:41]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Okay, again...
[22:41]	* [Pyg]Hilde	does the same to the remaining wing.
[22:43]	<[huh]Aki>	Is it hard to keep your balance, though, with those wings?
[22:44]	* [Mode]Maya	once again, the wing flutters a bit, though this time she folds it down a little in front of her, running a hand over it.
[22:44]	<[Mode]Maya>	It was for the first twenty years or so, so I flew everywhere. I'm used to walking with them now though.
[22:49]	* [Pyg]Hilde	listens to the two conversing as she takes a bar of soap to lather up the left wing, conscious about being careful with her touch.
[22:52]	* [Mode]Maya	twitches a bit more as her wing is touched, not used to the feeling of others touching them. She tries to concentrate on keeping it still, and not to try to shake it off.
[22:52]	<[Mode]Maya>	That feels so strange...
[22:53]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Ah, sorry...
[22:54]	<[Mode]Maya>	No, it's okay. I've just... never had my wings washed before.
[22:57]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Well, I've never washed an angel's wings before. I suppose we're in the same boat, haha!
[22:59]	<[Mode]Maya>	I suppose so.
[22:59]	* [Mode]Maya	smiles a bit.
[22:59]	<[Mode]Maya>	You're a pretty good person, I think.
[23:02]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Danke! Oh, brace yourself.
[23:02]	* [Pyg]Hilde	takes the bucket, getting som water in it again and pours it over the soapy wing.
[23:04]	* [Mode]Maya	doesn't react as much this time, having managed to control her reaction a little better. Being forewarned helps as well, at least she can brace herself.
[23:06]	<[Mode]Maya>	There's a lot of people that would probably try to do something crazy if they met an Angel though.
[23:06]	* [Mode]Maya	thinks of Red as she says this.
[23:07]	<[Mode]Maya>	I'm glad that no one is really making a big deal out of it.
[23:08]	* [Pyg]Hilde	repeats the same cleaning process with Maya's other wing.
[23:08]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	I've seen plenty of strange things on the Eternity Express already.
[23:09]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Plenty enough that if an angel would somehow end up among us, I wouldn't be find it so shocking anymore.
[23:10]	* [Mode]Maya	loses a bit of concentration at that, due to the slight surprise of hearing such a thing, and her wings flutter a bit as a result.
[23:10]	<[Mode]Maya>	Ah, sorry! Though... is that true? Something more surprising than an Angel? I'd have thought that something like me existing would be the biggest surprise humans could hope for.
[23:14]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Well, people back on earth certainly would.
[23:15]	<[huh]Aki>	In my time, at least, if an angel had appeared, all hell certainly would have broken loose.
[23:16]	<[Mode]Maya>	Eh, actually, I think that's what would cause an Angel to appear in your time in the first place...
[23:16]	<[huh]Aki>	Really? Has that happened before?
[23:18]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	I suppose your existence also confirms that devils also exist, ja?
[23:19]	<[Mode]Maya>	Yeah, it would... They work a bit differently though. They have to feed off energy in order to stay in the human world, where an Angel can simply come and go as they please because of His presence everywhere.
[23:20]	<[Mode]Maya>	I don't really know if they would ever try to 'break loose' though. Though Divine Wrath can do some pretty terrible things.
[23:20]	<[huh]Aki>	Well, after meeting you, demons aren't really that surprising. Hilde's right, this job has pretty much desensetized me to just about anything the world can throw at us.
[23:22]	<[Mode]Maya>	That's kind of sad... I'm pretty old as far as humans go and I still find things down here interesting. I don't know how I would feel if I wasn't able to be surprised by something anymore...
[23:24]	* [Pyg]Hilde	warns Maya, as usual, before pouring some water over her wing again.
[23:24]	<[huh]Aki>	Well, the thing about surprises is that you don't know about them until they happen. Who can say, maybe there is something out there.
[23:24]	<[huh]Aki>	Life's funny like that, y'know?
[23:24]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Indeed.
[23:26]	<[Mode]Maya>	That's good, I guess.
[23:27]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	There you go, wings all clean!
[23:29]	<[huh]Aki>	Ah~ So pretty~
[23:29]	* [Mode]Maya	lifts them a bit, then stretches them out fully. At full length, they're easily longer than Maya is tall. She folds them in again, and wraps them around her body, taking a closer look at them.
[23:30]	<[Mode]Maya>	Feel like all the sand was washed out well enough. Oh?
[23:31]	* [Mode]Maya	pulls out a loose feather and turns it over in her hand.
[23:31]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Ah, I'm sorry...I should have been more careful.
[23:31]	<[Mode]Maya>	Oh, no, it's okay. It happens from time to time, just like with birds. What was it again... 'molting'?

You age, you grow, and you lose feathers, but you can still fly and use your gifts... I'm not sure if that means that they're a supernatural exception or if they're actually supposed to be normal parts of 'reality' for...

[23:45]	* [Mode]Maya	wrapped in her wings, she decides to drop her towel and wash what she can as well now.
[23:49]	* [Pyg]Hilde	uses the bucket to pour water over her head one last time.
[23:52]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	Well, I guess that's enough for me. Looks like I'm starting to get pruney.
[23:52]	<[Mode]Maya>	Hmm, I should probably be getting out soon too.

[23:54]	<[Mode]Maya>	They are kind of nice. I don't remember the last time I actually had to wash.
[23:54]	<[Mode]Maya>	I hear there's a saying like 'Cleanliness is next to Godliness' though, so I probably should more often...
[23:58]	* [Pyg]Hilde	steps out of the tub and out the washroom to start drying herself off.
[00:01]	* [Mode]Maya	rinses off, and spends a little while longer enjoying the water. After a short while, keeping her wings around her, and using her towel to cover the rest of herself as best as she can, she heads back into the changing room as well.

[00:04]	* [Pyg]Hilde	picks out a fresh uniform of hers from the open closet and begins dressing again.

She remembers that she should probably go get the other clothes she left in the changing room before as well. Once dressed, rather than wasting time trying to dry her wings as well, she simply flutters them a bit, shaking off some of the remaining water.

[00:12]	<[Mode]Maya>	Oh, sorry about that.
[00:13]	* [Mode]Maya	folds her wings around herself again and rests her hands on top of them, running her hands over the joints.
[00:14]	<[Mode]Maya>	I hope we don't have to go anywhere sandy for a while...
[00:14]	<[Pyg]Hilde>	We'll see. At least Herr Doktor gave us the rest of the day off.
[00:15]	<[Mode]Maya>	Yeah, though I don't know what I'll do with that spare time.
