  1. Summary:
  2. The T-755 is a drone class briefly in development during the 2030's. Focusing on extended ranges of movement, squad tactics, and hit-and-run attack behavior, the series signified a major dogma change in Skynet unit tactics.
  3.
  4. Physical Specifications:
  5. Initial T-755's were converted from surplus T-700's, and in that regard, they are virtually identical in proportions to the modern Skynet endoskeleton design.
  6. With a modified lower chassis and updated movement subroutines, they are able to run at a maximum speed of 11 miles per hour, and can jump 3 feet in the air. Additionally, the T-755's range and speed of movement is much closer to that of a human, allowing the drone to engage threats quicker than other series.
  7.
  8. Their CPU is little more than the T-700's CPU with updated software. Like the T-700, it does not have the capacity for total self-reliance in later drone models; when separated from its squad leader, it relies totally on direct input from a Command source. Experiments with the T-800 CPU have so far been unsuccessful, mainly due to power trouble and faulty behavior.
  9.
  10. Differences from Other Drone Series:
  11.
  12. Physical Differences:
  13. Previously, all Skynet drones were the equivalent of walking tanks. While they possessed superior firepower and endurance, their reaction time to threats was extremely limited, often taking several seconds just to turn around and fire. The T-755 is capable of matching a human soldier in movement, although it sacrifices the bonus of high endurance.
  14.
  15. Tactical Differences:
  16. Many drones simply attack in groups of one or two, leaving them vastly outnumbered and outgunned against an entire garrison of Resistance. The T-755 works in 3-4 unit fireteams, and mimics human rifleman squads by providing at least one support gunner. This support gunner will use suppression to pre-occupy Resistance while other drones move in to either make a kill, or, possibly capture a target.
  17.
  18. When a 755 squad is activated, they will all be linked via wireless. One drone, designated as the squad leader, possesses a direct uplink to command, similar to the T-700. At this point, the squad follows the guidance of the squad leader.
  19.
  20. When a squad leader is terminated, command responsibility shifts to another drone, although there is a brief moment where the squad is essentially headless. The drones will continue to work together until there is only one left, at which point the drone, now under the direct control of Command, will either retreat, or continue to fight.
  21.
  22. The most striking difference between other series and the 755 is its offensive programming. Unlike other drones, who may act as support units independent of other series, the T-755 is programmed to retreat to a safe location to regroup, if the perceived offensive capabilities of their target are greater than their ability to defend against it. The 755 will also engage in hit-and-run tactics, striking at weak points in the Resistance lines before retreating.
  23.
  24. Individually, a T-755 will act similar to a T-700, but unlike other series, it will actively use cover and concealment in combat.
  25.
  26. Loadouts:
  27.
  28. Typically, the T-755 is armed with a ballistic weapon, such as the F2000. This is largely due to it being the primary ballistic weapon produced, and its balanced performance in multiple roles. It may be seen armed with low-level plasma weapons, such as the M20 (30 Watt), but typically, such weapons would be reserved for a higher-level drone.
