Goodbye to all friends

This 3 year old group has come to an end, but continue to take refuge in the Triple Gem, and you will find your Path.

Dear friends, this may seem to come suddenly, but this has been hinted many times in the past. It is time for me to go, and it has been a wonderful three years with many of you dear friends. This too shows the nature of impermanence.

Do not hold onto anything that I have said, do not dig up the past and ruminate, neither should you seek outwardly. Whatever I have given, I have given wholeheartedly and left nothing behind. I am not a teacher, and I have repeatedly said this - I am just an old man. Taking my words seriously, you only have yourself to blame!

Everything else in your Path lies on your own hands.

Do not stop seeking the true nature, to find the end of suffering. If there is any way you can make this old man here happy, it is to attain the Dao yourself. It is possible for everyone. All it takes is hard work and patience. I cannot do the hard work for you, so this has to be your step out alone.

Do not forget the wonderful sangha built from this small community of loving, warm and kind-hearted people. You are not alone. If you practice well, we are in the stars, the earth, the wind and the lightning that shakes the ground. May you be blessed, may you strive well, and may you be enlightened in this lifetime.

I love you all friends and may your bodhicitta be a light and a shelter for all beings. Place your hands together with me and let us praise the Great Turner of the Dharma Wheel together - recite this with me:

Namo Shakyamuni Buddha.

Namo Shakyamuni Buddha.

Namo Shakyamuni Buddha.

We seek refuge in the Buddha, the Sangha and the Dharma. May all beings attain enlightenment. May all merit be given to all humans and non-humans, nagas of power, devas, all the six realms of beings, the countless Bodhisattvas, gurus, masters, Buddhas, and compassionate dharma protectors.
