  111. <<< Information for users >>>
  112.
  113. All documentation including manuals and developer resources & information can be found in the "ADL Enviro 200 HK Single & Dual Door (KMB AAS & AAU) Pack" folder within the "Documents" folder of your OMSI 2 root directory.
  114.
  115. - Door controls:
  116. The buses of this pack do not use the conventional default OMSI door keyboard controls. Either use the door buttons in the cab of the bus, or the following keyboard controls:
  117. Numpad / : Open or close front doors
  118. Numpad * : Open or close front doors
  119. Numpad - : Open or close rear doors (dual door variants only). The bus must be stationary and the handbrake applied in order to open the rear doors.
  120.
  121. - Starting the bus:
  122. The buses of this pack do not use the conventional default OMSI keyboard method of starting the bus, To start the bus:
  123. 1. Press E once on your keyboard once to start the electrics, and wait until the dashboard computer display shows the text "Alexander Dennis Enviro 200" over a white background.
  124. 2. Press M once on your keyboard to start the ignition, then wait about 3-4 seconds before continuing to the next step.
  125. 3. Hold M down on your keyboard for 1 second to start the engine.
  126. If the engine does not start in step 3, ensure the bus is in neutral gear by pressing N on your keyboard once. Then, re-attempt step 3.
  127.
  128. - Engaging gears:
  129. The buses of this pack require that you hold down the brake pedal at least three quarters of the way, to engage the gear, and that the engine is fully idle:
  130. 1. Ensure bus is started and the engine is running and fully idle (i.e. the accelerator has not been pressed for atleast 5 seconds)
  131. 2. Hold down the brake pedal at least halfway, and hold it there.
  132. 3. Press D on your keyboard to engage the drive (forward) gear, or R on your keyboard for the reverse (backward) gear if you would like to reverse the bus, and then press the yellow R button on the dashboard to confirm it.
  133. If you accidentally engaged a gear without pressing the brake pedal, the bus will remain in neutral gear regardless of what the dashboard computer shows.
  134. If this happens, press N on your keyboard to engage the neutral gear, then repeat the above steps to engage your desired gear.
  135.
  136. - Interior lighting systems:
  137. The buses of this pack do not use the conventional default OMSI lighting systems. To switch on the interior lights, you may find that you need to press the switches twice.
  138. This is because each interior light has two stages (dimmed & full).
  139. To utilise these features properly, first turn on the interior passenger saloon lights (keys 7, 8 and 9 on your keyboard).
  140. Then, you may switch the passenger saloon lights between dimmed and full modes by pressing 7 on your keyboard.
  141.
  142. - Absence of ticket machine & cash tray:
  143. The buses of this pack do not have any ticket machines installed, or a cash tray. Thus, to sell tickets you must use the default OMSI 2 keyboard keys to sell tickets:
  144. T: Issue requested ticket to passenger (this will automatically select the correct ticket for you)
  145. CTRL + T: Issue change to passenger
  146. SHIFT + T: Clear up all tickets & cash from the sales area, so you can sell tickets to the next passenger.
  147.

  150.
  151. Important information for repainters:
  152. - Only the body repaint templates are included in this archive.
  153. --- If you would like to find all CTCTexture names and the names of their stock textures, navigate to OMSI 2\Vehicles\ADL Enviro 200 UK (Regional)\Texture\Advert and open any .cti file in Notepad.
  154. - The left & right side repaint templates are a little squashed compared to in-game, so anything applied to them will appear a little more stretched in-game.
  155. - The repaint templates for the Lazzerini Highback seats and the disabled backrest & seats above the front-right axle are separate:
  156. --- The CTCTexture name for the Lazzerini Highback seats is AAUChair, and textures applied to this will appear substantially smaller in-game.
  157. --- The CTCTexture name for the disabled backrest & seats above the front-right axle is Chair, and textures applied to this will appear substantially larger in-game.
  158. - The dual door bus of this pack use exactly the same template as the Regional variants, which have been used to create all existing repaints within this pack.
  159. However, in-game, the rear door will simply override and cutoff a part of the repaint where it is supposed to be positioned.
  160. Currently there is no way to tell which part of the repaint template is covered by the rear door, however, so please be aware of this before creating repaints.
  161. If you do try to guess, do note that the left & right side repaint templates are a little squashed compared to in-game, so anything applied to them will appear a little more stretched in-game.
  162.
  163.
  164. <<< Known issues & common troubleshooting >>>
  165.
  166. - Passenger movement & positioning:
  167. Some passengers may appear to leave the bus just after they boarded the bus. Don't worry, they are still on the bus!
  168. Additionally, while exiting the bus (on regional variants only). passengers may obstruct the drivers view by standing in the doorway before the bus has stopped,
  169. and may walk in circles around the door area for a few seconds before actually leaving, and on dual door variants, passengers may walk through the rear door dividers.
  170. Unfortunately, these are caused by deep structure issues with the paths of the base bus, would require a rebuild of the paths from scratch.
  171. We tried our very best to fix this in multiple different ways, but unfortunately this only caused other more serious issues each time.
  172.
  173. - Setting the destination display using the default OMSI 2 "92E" button of the ALT key menu:
  174. When doing this for the first time, the destination display may not appear correctly.
  175. Sometimes, the destination display might remain blank, but passengers will still board the bus, or it may remain blank and passengers will not board the bus.
  176. In all of these cases, simply set the destination display again using the default OMSI 2 "92E" button of the ALT key menu
  177. The destination display should then work correctly, and passengers will board the bus.
  178.
  179. - Dashboard computer rear door status (dual door variants only):
  180. If the front & rear doors are both open, the dashboard computer will incorrectly report that only the rear doors are open.
  181. Despite implementing a theoretical solution, for some reason we were unable to fix this issue.
  182.
  183. - Cab door window sounds:
  184. Sometimes, when you drag open the cab door window and leave it quickly, the window drag sound may continue playing indefinitely.
  185. Unfortunately, this cannot be fixed, as it is a core issue with OMSI 2's game engine.
  186. Simply click the cab window panel you opened once, or drag it a little more again and the sound should stop playing.
  187.
  188.
  189. <<< FAQ >>>
  190.
  191. Q: Wait - this is just the base bus, a few edits? What's the point of this pack?
  192. A: We compiled this pack for two main reasons: improving the experience by fixing major issues,
  193. and ease-of-use for newbies. The original author removed the download links for these buses, meaning new users can no longer obtain them.
  194. Additionally, even before this the official HK dual door variant of this bus was kept mostly private.
  195. I (sjain_guides) have compiled everything into one pack and fixed some major bugs, to make the buses enjoyable to use.
  196. The one result from this pack is - it's all ready to use out the box in one click, with many new features & in-depth quality & accuracy improvements to ensure the best experience.
