Nereida asks, "What must we do your-your holiness?"

Sigwald says, ". . ."
Rook raised an eyebrow, watching their 'Dark Lord' Julius stutter and stammer his sentences out. This was too much, the guy didn't even believe himself.

He'd then elbow Nereida again. "She means Unholiness." he corrects her. "What orders would you like to give us?"

Nereida took a quick glance towards Sigwald who was apparently leaving. And that was the first time she saw him, really saw him. He looked clean alright, but at what cost? He didn't look at all happy about it- that was evident earlier by his repetitive growls but the girl was too preoccupied to notice- to care. And all of a sudden, guilt swelled in her chest like an enlarged beating heart. She remembered Rook speaking about happiness, and now... now she understood. Maybe Sigwald was happy with himself, happy with being filled to the brim with grime and dirt and Nereida was too narrow-minded to see it.

The girl of fourteen slowly turned away from Sigwald, leaving him on his own and focusing on playing the part of a humble servant to the histrionic boy.

O... ORDERS?! With an S!?

As... as in these people would do what he said? These people respected himself to listen to the words coming out of his mouth, consider them, and go 'yeah sure'?! They - OTHER LIVING HUMANS - would consider him not only as their equal, but as someone worth listening to. Someone who's advice was heeded. Someone who's opinion was valued. Someone who's presence would be missed.

Someone they RESPECTED.

no. This is a sham. This is lies, all lies! NO! They would betray him! They would wrestle and whine the moment he took them seriously too! They would do this to TRICK HIM. To DECIEVE. THEY WOULDN'T EVER LISTEN TO YOU, JULIUS!

"T-TURN AROUND IN PLACE!" He barks out, pointing behind them. From his pits to his forehead, a thin layer of icky sweat is starting to roll on down. This is easily the most stressful situation he's ever been in; muchmore pulse-pounding than getting his teeth knocked out.

"Yes your Unholiness!"

Nereida complied and twirled in her spot, allowing the sand to creep into her shoes. She grinded her teeth together, irritated by the discomfort of the coarse sand but managed to flash a charming smile in Julius's direction as she finished twirling.

Rook stared at them for a moment. The order was extremely simple. So he shrugged and twisted around in place. Though... maybe he could push this in another direction.

"Uhm... Your Unholiness. Maybe we should... I'unno, go back into town and... Spread your... 'Will' to more people?"
(Rook)

Julius sprints away the moment they turn.

One can easily hear him pivot, dig his heel into the sand and then BOLT off. One pounding barefoot step after another as he sprints away. He doesn't even give them any answers.

It seems the pressure was simply too much. He never expected to succeed.
