  1. [23:15] Inante would give a smile towards Del, He hadn't even congratulated him yet he forgot with all the things he's doing now!
  2.
  3. He walks over and with his lips parted he raises his hand, Shimmering gold of his Leonaus tattoo is visibly seen as he reaches towards Del's shoulder.
  4.
  5. "Welcome to the Church of Celestials Brother Del, You've done such good work in the Church and its why I chose you to be promoted to Deacon, I hope you continue to move through the world doing the blessed work of the stars."
  6.
  7. As he watched Tea and Kofe probably leave he'd give them wave and a smile as they wen ton his way. Had he only someone to watch them...but he figured it was time they do thinrgs on their own and experience the difference of culture, If the Queen wanted them educated this was one way.
  8.
  9. "Now then, If you'd like some lessons I'd be ready and able just as soon as I handle a conversation with a cadet who has some questions?" He'd look over to young Andrew.
  10.
  11. "How can I be of service to you today young sir?"
  12. (Inante Arl Salis)
  13. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  14.
  15. [23:21] Del watched as Tea and Kofe promptly departed elsewhere. They're glad that the Rhoynish siblings could be on the move without guidance, making it less of a prison.
  16.
  17. Their gaze returned to the Stellus- Or his shoes rather as the young Deacon stared at the floor, a smile threatening to appear.
  18.
  19. "... Thank you, Stellus Salis.. for thinking I.. was a good choice."
  20.
  21. Their gaze shifted to their left, to the new Acolyte they've brought to the church. For now, however, the topic at hand.
  22.
  23. "I.. appreciate that.. quite a bit.. please.. take your time.." Bowing slightly, Del made their way over to a bench where they'd sit and wait for Inante to conclude what he wished with the Cadet.
  24. (Del mer Joyau)
  25. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  26.
  27. [23:22] Oh. It was time for him to talk again! Andrew seemed lost in thought for the most part, staring at his hand for a few moments before looking up towards Inante. "Ah, it's... Just a few questions, honestly. I was studying the stars- The Prince was helping me understand them, and try to bond with them."
  28.
  29. "I wanted to be a hero for our people, you know. But I wanted to know... How do I choose a star? And do I need to choose one? Why is the sun never spoken about? Why is the moon always a bad thing in tales? What--" Andrew suddenly stopped, aware that he was probably going to stay talking for half an hour simply asking about random things.
  30.
  31. A brief pause to think, he continued. "I want to know about the sun, and how I should choose my star, ser Inante."
  32. (Andrew Lancaster)
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. [23:40] There was a lot of questions and ones he would have to field one at a time and none were short answers, But Inante had to remember he had to make it digestible enough that a child could understand it. He sat next to Andrew for a moment thinking about his answers for a while before speaking.
  36.
  37. "Hm all great questions clearly you've been doing some heavy thought haha, Well to answer your first question you choose a star as you would a friend. How would you speak to a friend you've just met or someone you don't know? You speak to something that is common between you, what goals and Aspirations do you hold? How will you achieve them? The stars are representations of how we live each life and how our next one will emerge." Inantes arms were clasped within the large sleeves of his cloak.
  38.
  39. "As for regarding the Sun, and the Moon they too are celestial bodies but they are not the focus of our religion or Esshar's Creation but that is just a cultural difference between us and other nations who do worship the sun or the moon. Like any celestial body it is possible to connect to either. Although they do not hold as much president as the Constellation of Leonaus does in Esshar." Inante smooths out the wrinkles in his robe as he continues on with his explanation.
  40.
  41. "I don't believe the Moon is bad in anyway, However people have been known to use the moons power for evil acts and such nature. It means little of the Actual Celestial body, It is how mortals use its power that causes that rumor to spread. More often than not it is the Magi's intention that determines the outcome."
  42.
  43. "About the sun well its a large and powerful Celestial body its just the closest star we can see visibly from within our atmosphere. Beyond that I don't believe there are many references to the sun but I wouldn't know how to gain any power from it."
  44.
  45. And his final note. "Well As for connecting with stars well...." He'd look over to Deacon who was literally Dripping in cosmic magic. "Deacon Del can help you better understand how to make star connections! Hes a cosmic magi after all. Allow him to guide you in prayer so you can awaken to your star, and it will help to make the connection stronger."
  46. (Inante Arl Salis)
  47. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  48.
  49. [23:46] Well, he was... At a dilemma there. His object of worship was often the main moons, but he was told that Leo was, ultimately, substituted by the sun in most cases. It seemed to not be true at this point. However, the entire explanation is heard and very carefully considered.
  50.
  51. Eyes glance upwards as he waits for it to come into a conclusion, a nod at every couple of sentences. As any other bodies... He could connect to either! It was an amazing point of view that he could not help but wonder how would work.
  52.
  53. A brief glance is given towards the Deacon, a smile present upon little Andrew's face. It seemed he was more than happy with learning how to connect with the stars, but! He had one last question to put up, eyes staring back at the Salis.
  54.
  55. "I have one last question then, if it would not bother you." Without much time for answer, however, he continues. "If I connect to the sun, is it... Heresy?" He seemed hesitant on voicing this out, a brief shake to his teenager voice.
  56.
  57. "I don't know- I have felt the connection to Phos, but... I like the sun! It is so... Gloriously incandescent. Always lighting up the day. Always giving light to the day of others, no matter who they are."
  58. (Andrew Lancaster)
  59. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  60.
  61. [23:55] Del sat quietly, legs dangly from the bench as Inante spoke with the Cadet who they've seen around quite a bit yet never spoke to. There are many like that, familiar faces that often stay just that.
  62.
  63. Their gaze stays on the floor, merely listening.
  64.
  65. The sun, the moon. Closer celestial bodies, one they had no opinion on in this very moment. Until the two both conclude, the young Deacon feels compelled to speak on it.
  66.
  67. "In... theory.. one could bond with.. any celestial body..." What separates the sun and moon from the eighteen Stars which composes Leonaus? "Though... through history... Esshar has.. looked to the stories and guidance of... Leonaus.. not of.. the closer bodies...
  68.
  69. Truly, Del didn't give the matter much thought. Perhaps after more contemplation would they have a more thoughtful, full comment on the matter.
  70.
  71. "...Maybe... But..." Their youth began to show itself as their legs kicked back and forth. "Leonaus is... cooler..." Especially with its rich history and ties with Osrona and Eternia as a whole.
  72. (Del mer Joyau)
  73. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  74.
  75. [23:59] Inante shakes his head from left to right, "No of course not. All Celestial bodies are equal in my eyes, As I said before it is how humanity uses that power and what they do with it that determines their role. The suns power shares no threat to Leonaus but it is just not the focus of worshiped here in Esshar." He'd give an example of something that would instead be heretical so the boy had a clear understanding.
  76.
  77. "Heresy or blasphemy more so goes in by attempting to spread rumors or lies regarding the current church, or claiming the Sun is superior to all, Basically something extreme and obviously meant to harm the Church as a whole, Such as contracting with evil gods, or spirits."
  78.
  79. As the prospect of connecting with Phos is discussed Inante would give a chuckle before nodding his head. "Phos is indeed a good choice as well, Connecting with the sun isn't something a normal magi can do I believe it would take an abundance of skill and practice to do and at the very least I don't suggest attempting it until you've achieved that stage... Beyond that though which star you choose is personal. I could suggest things all day and night but really its a reflection of yourself that you're choosing to draw power from in the end."
  80. (Inante Arl Salis)
  81. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  82. [00:05] It is how they use that power that matters more than what power it is. After all, it is entirely possible to use holy or cosmic magic for evil. He truly did not have any intentions that were considered heretical so far, so at least the Stellus' words helped put him at ease.
  83.
  84. A sigh of relief comes from him, the 'phew' causing his body to relax at the same time. "I will try Phos then!" He speaks with newfound determination, before looking up to the skies. "Prince Alexander told me how to try attuning, so I will try it again when I'm at home, or... Probably up at the castle or something!"
  85.
  86. "When I'm at a place with a good view." A brief pause, before he nods towards Inante. "Thank you, ser Inante." He turns then towards Del, and nods in their direction as well. "And thank you, ser Del."
  87.
  88. "I will be making my exit now, so I do not hold you further. I am sorry for any nuisances."
  89. (Andrew Lancaster)
  90. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  91.
  92. [00:10] Dark hues soon fell to Andrew. Phos. Perhaps. They wanted to study people a bit more, deepen their already existing knowledge of the Stars so they could perform readings for people.
  93.
  94. However, the bond with a Star is personal, between two parties. It's best to choose it naturally and on one's own.
  95.
  96. Del stayed quiet now, only moving when they're addressed to which they nod slightly.
  97.
  98. "..May the Stars keep your path bright..."
  99. (Del mer Joyau)
  100. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  101.
  102. [00:10] Inante shakes his head, "Ah perish the thought, It is my duty as Stellus to help guide those closer to the stars and field any questions one might have regarding them. Its my job after all. While I wish I could continue talks with you as my current position stands I'll be far more busy doing other things to serve the Kingdom. But had I ever any free time again to help I shall." He'd again give a hand gesture towards Del.
  103.
  104.
  105. "Please seek the council of Deacon Del, or the others within the clergy for guidance if you need it they are just as properly trained in the codex cosmos as myself." He'd give a smile before waving the boy away as he left.
  106.
  107. "May the stars light your path, young cadet."
  108. (Inante Arl Salis)
  109. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  110.
  111. [00:10] Andrew Lancaster says, "May the stars light yours as well, sires. Thank you again for the assistance."
