- This was leaked to me by a friend, as part of a bet. There may be inaccuracies as a result of misinterpretation.
- Season 17, Season of the Broken
- Season revolves around eramis unfreezing and enacting revenge on the last city, ends with her death and the remnants of house salvation plotting something...
- Seasonal exotic: Rii's Salvation
- A stasis bow, that causes a freezing pulse on precision hits, killing a target with stasis damage loads an explosive stasis arrow that functions a bit like a coldsnap grenade. Catalyst: freezing a target gives you a damage boost and spawns a stasis crystals on top of it. In pvp, the freezing pulse gives 50 slow stacks instead of freezing.
- Iron banner rework, very similar to the trials one. A new Iron banner playlist, centered around highly competitive gameplay, that awards adept weapons.
- Seasonal activity 3 man activity similar to forges called "Ketch Warfrare", involves killing mini-bosses to spawn scorch cannons, to shoot down a house salvation ketch.
- 30 new legendary weapons (all of which are craftable), including a stasis special gl with chill clip.
- Solar 3.0
- Still in early development (will likely be underdeveloped on release)
- Well of Radiance nerf, no longer provides a damage buff
- Blade Barrage reverted to it's state in forsaken, with a damage buff.
- Aspects are rather underwhelming [heat rises and icarus dash are standalone aspects for example (although heat rises gains a healing effect similar to well of life)]
- Hunters once again receive the short end of the stick.
- Brand new Stasis aspects and fragments.
- Hunter Aspect: Crystal scythe
- Killing slowed or frozen targets spawns a crystal scythe, which can be thrown to freeze enemies and deal damage or uses as a melee weapon that slows targets (50 stacks). Spawning scythes works like spawning warmind cells, 3 points are required to spawn one, minors kills grant 1 point, major and above grant 3.
- Warlock Aspect: Frost Implosion
- Melee ability now causes a freezing explosion on hit and gains a second charge, freezing enemies regenerates some melee energy.
- Titan Aspect: Absolute Zero
- Destroying a stasis crystal causes a freezing pulse.
- Fragments:
- Whisper of Consequence: freezing a target spawns a stasis crystal on top of them, depending on it's rank (minor - small, major - medium, elite and boss - large) -10 discipline -10 strength
- Whisper of Durability: picking up a stasis shard grants damage resistance for ten seconds, +10 resilience (damage resist similar whisper of chains).
- Whisper of Commitment: stasis shards restore grenade energy in addition to melee energy -20 discipline.
- Whisper of Regrets: Your weapons slow targets when at critical health or when you have an overshield (number of stacks depends on fire rate).
- Season 18, Season of the Plague.
- My friend told me that the team really didn't want to make this season, but were forced by upper management due to "popular demand".
- As a result, expect this season to be rather half-baked. Hope you are happy whoever keeps suggesting this shit.
- The season revolves around rasputin being uploaded to an exo body and recovering access to it's arsenal, including siva.
- The remnants of house salvation have recovered a lost cache containing a strain of Siva, the season ends with you stopping them and rasputin recovering siva. A darkness infused strain of Siva is teased (please no siva subclass).
- Plaguelands come back, including a re-issued sepiks perfected strike. This years remastered raid is wrath of the machine, remains largely unchanged, unlike VoG. Raid exotic - Special grenade launcher with 6 shots (like a heavy one), which explode into nanites, deals more damage against enemies with nanites on them (synergizes with outbreak perfected).
- Seasonal exotic: Young wolf's howl - A remaster of a D1 classic, element and heavy attack depend on your subclass (for example, going solar will make it solar and give it the heavy attack from back during D1), catalyst gives it a special property depending on your subclass (slowing enemies if stasis is equipped, weakening if void is equipped etc.)
- Arc 3.0
- Development has apparently barely started, but Hunters will get a new super (the arc staff block is merge into the regular one, similar to sentinel shield).
- 36 new legendaries and a bunch of older seasonal weapons re-issued as craftable versions with some new perks.
