INSTRUCTION :: GUILD WARS

Guild Wars do have two different areas: The Main Battlefield, and The Mines. Guild can appoint maximum of 30 elites, those can enter the Main Battlefield. Main Battlefield is the area where the fight is won or lost, so if you are appointed as an elite, it is extremely important that you have a possibility to be online during Guild War. Guild Wars are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 20:00 and 20:30. Others enter to the Mines, which plays a crucial role as well. Below are instructions about both areas.

About the Main Battlefield

Both teams (guilds) do have a Main Base, as well as three towers spread into a three different lines (bottom, middle and upside, so total of 9 towers on both sides). Destroying an opponent tower grants 100 points, which means that destroying all the towers means 900 points. Destroying opponents Main Base grants much more points, and also ends the battle. There are two ways to win the war:

1) Having more points than enemy when the timer reaches the zero, or..

2) Destroying the opponents Main Base.

Victories and amount of points determine our position in Guild War ranking. Top8 guilds proceed into Qualifiers round, which is held after the main season. During Qualifiers, guilds will have random war against each other. Four winners will proceed into a Final round, where winners will fight for the gold - and losers fight for bronze. Our main goal is, of course, to win gold medal.

If you wish to become an elite, let @Zirin [FIN/ENG] or @Snowy [NL/ENG] know about this either here - or ingame. Remember, that participating is very, very important, if you are named as an elite. It must be 100 percent sure, since we do have limited amount of elites.
About the Mines

Some say that attacking is the best strategy, but not any war cant be won without a proper defence. There are two Mines: the left and the right. Both consists three mining areas, those do play crucial part in the Guild War. Gathering ores in the Mines grants both more HP for our towers, as well as increases their defence. This means, that if we are able to hold all the mining areas, our towers basically cant be destroyed. Thats why we need as many as possible into both Mines as well. Non-elites can enter into the Mines.

Holding all the three areas in both Mines is very important. Spreading out into every area guarantees, that enemy cant defend their towers, so our elites are able to take them down in the Main Battlefield easily. This means more points for the Paradox.

@Toya / LordGrim [ENG/NPL] has the responsibility of the left Mine team. @Delta  has the responsibility of the right Mine team. Please, check the #guild-announcements for the list of appointed Elites, and if you aint there right now, but you are willing to participate into Guild War, let these two know either here - or ingame - so they can take you into their team. Remember, that participating is very, very important, if you name yourself into a team.

You can also enter into a Guild War without being actually named into any Mining team. We will go through the people those are on, and make sure Mines do have all the possible people.
