  1. [02:06] Saba Sugar asks, "-Right, not to cut this short or anything, but Eshmun you needed to speak with me about something right?"
  2. [02:06] Eshmun Hirai says, "I did."
  3. [02:06] Reggie says, "Ah, yeah. I'll make my way to the square unless you don't mind me sitting around."
  4. [02:06] Saba Sugar says, "Up to Esh."
  5. [02:06] Eshmun Hirai says, "Well, you can sit around...It just might be a bit boring? But it's fine."
  6. [02:06] Eshmun Hirai says, "Let's move to the front room however."
  7. [02:07] Reggie says, "I mean, if you're whispering and stuff? I'll let you two be."
  8. [02:07] Eshmun Hirai says, "No whispers."
  9. [02:07] Reggie says, "Alright."
  10. [02:07] Reggie pulls out bit of beef jerky and his small cloud, letting it float around him.
  11. (Reggie)
  12. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.
  14. [02:12] Slowly the man began pulling out their chair, giving a smile while settling himself down onto it. For a solid few seconds he didn't speak, before their sights turned up to look at the chieftain, "Okay Saba...I'm actually wanting some teachings. I'm wondering about what you 'do', during...When you get a bit serious.." Slowly their fingers began interlacing in front of him.
  15.
  16. Mythril fingers entwined around fleshy ones, upon the fleshy ones however was a brand-new golden gem-studded ring. Adorned onto it was two ruby red eyes, with a crooked diamond studed smile.
  17.
  18. "I learned a bit from Sam before, but...I never truly got told much more then just a bit."
  19. (Eshmun Hirai)
  20. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  21.
  22. [02:22] Slowly but surely the chieftain made his way from the back room, and over towards the table, and the chair that resided at the southern end of it. Oh, and he crawled there, his mithril legs were still broken. So that's fun.
  23.
  24. Eventually he'd pull himself up onto the chair, leaning back in it so he can relax as much as the muscle spasming bloated man could. God, fighting a storm elemental sucked. Though with a quick shake of his head he was ready to talk about... Whatever it was he was here to talk about.
  25.
  26. ! ! !
  27.
  28. Finally another person had come to him for lessons on achieving the uh... Huh, y'know they didn't actually have a good name for the form. Tototl and him called it Ascended Mana Mastery, or just Mana Mastery, while Adonis called it Super Magi.
  29.
  30. Oh well, the name didn't really matter.
  31.
  32. "Rightio, I can give you a quick rundown on how to achieve the form. Seeing as you already have a fairlyconfident with your energy magic, this should be pretty easy for you... Well the first steps of it anyways.
  33.
  34. Right, so what you want to do is, shroud yourself in your mana, and then try to push out as much of it as you can... If that makes sense. Once you do that, I'll tell you the next step.
  35.
  36. Simply enough, yeah"
  37. (Saba Sugar)
  38. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  39.
  40. [02:23] Reggie personally thought Mega Magi sounded better.
  41. (Reggie)
  42. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  43.
  44. [02:34] Watching Saba pull himself into the chair, a small chuckle is given rudely to the crippled man. But alongside what would be a normally cruel gesture, an elixir of healing was passed across the table. It was simply adorned, a small jar bottled up with a very thin airy liquid inside.
  45.
  46. When drank it'd merely taste like sweet air, which was definitely a strange thing to say the least. Yet it was their own form of them, as an easy drink that would not take much effort to actually 'swallow'.
  47.
  48. "Here, go on ahead and drink your potion, or leave it for later...Whatever you want to do with it."
  49.
  50. Laughing slightly their head shook, thinking over the 'energy magic'. It had actually been years since they truly started to feel their mastery in these arts, but even then...They were never able to take that further step, the one that they could always feel when they went into battle.
  51.
  52. When emotions ran high, they felt their power pushed, wanting to push himself even forth. Yet so far, on their own, it had been a failed achievement. Instead here he was now, asking Saba about it.
  53.
  54. "So...Start with shrouding myself." Immediately after speaking, their energy began manifesting out of their body, quickly congealing until it was a constant form all across his body.
  55.
  56. "Then I just...Push is all out." Upon stating that, their mana began fluctuating, their energy flowing outwards rapidly as thin spikes bean forming out of his energy. It was definitely stranger compared to others, his energy solidifying and growing minute details, such as the small spikes being extraordinarily sharp.
  57.
  58. Yet even as much as they pushed out, the man wasn't becoming tired, instead they were retaining it all, controlling his power, not wasting a lick of it.
  59.
  60. "Is...This right?"
  61. (Eshmun Hirai)
  62. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  63.
  64. [02:34] {Item} You drop Mythril Paintbrush.
  65. [02:35] {Item} You picked up Mythril Paintbrush. Dropped by Eshmun Hirai. .
  66. [02:46] A smile spread across the crippled Chieftain's face, as he grabbed the healing elixir and placed it into his bag, he'd down that after the Lessons were over! "Rightio, thanks for the elixir!"
  67.
  68. With that being said he'd turn his attention back to Eshumn, tilting his head to the side as he watched a shroud of energy began to surround the man. The chieftain gave a quick nod of his head, before flashing his Chief Financial Officer a thumbs up!
  69.
  70. "Exactly like that! Now, this parts kinda tricky, but I'm sure you'll be able to manage it... Probably!"
  71.
  72. Saba extended his index, and middle finger on his right hand, and slowly moved it towards his forehead. "Right, so within everyone's mana circuits lay what are known as 'Convergence Points'. There are three of them to be exact!"
  73.
  74. Using his two fingers, he'd quickly tap his forehead. "The Crown." He'd then begin to move his finger down towards his throat, and like with the forehead, he'd give his throat a quick tap. "The throat. From there he'd move his finger down towards his chest, before tapping said fingers onto his chest, around where the heart is located. "And last but not least, the heart.
  75.
  76. Right, so most races are unable to do this, but us Humans? Well within these convergence points reside an abundance of mana, ripe for taking! Anyways, what you need to do is syphon that mana out, and add that to your current shroud.
  77.
  78. That's step two out of four... Well, there's only really one more step to doing this, but there's a uhh, mindset you need to properly master the form, but I'll go into that once we're finished.
  79.
  80. Go on, give it a go!"
  81. (Saba Sugar)
  82. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  83.
  84. [03:00] Reggie had been relaxing in the chair, merely enjoying the company of the higher ups. One of the more active warriors that he knew of at the hours and days that he was active, aimed to prove himself as one of the few, the proud, The Atl. All this information over energy control seemed to go over his head. His own control came from the amplification and chaining of his emotions in combat where they ran wild.
  85. (Reggie)
  86. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  87.
  88. [03:04] Giving a thumbs up in return, their spiked mana would start to chill out a bit, but already small pierced marks covered his chair. Though they had complete control over their power, in the end, he wasn't exactly too held up if he injured his own furniture.
  89.
  90. Copying Saba, their fingers began tapping against bits of their body. From the forehead, to the throat, then to the heart. Smiling his mind would start flowing, thoughts swirling and words being memorized.
  91.
  92. "So...In these three 'convergence' spots, we have an abundance of mana that we normally don't work alongside?" A tilt of the head was given as they thought about such a matter...Why didn't more people attain such things, if they were there in their body? Yet, he did talk about them, which led Eshmun to fully believing in them.
  93.
  94. His chieftain wasn't a liar after all, were they?
  95.
  96. So with little stated afterwards, he just began sitting there, focusing on those spots, "...I'll try to tap into these spots." Slowly they began grimacing, as their non-wandering mind started to focus upon the spots spoken about.
  97.
  98. It actually didn't take too long before they actually began feeling something, something that they couldn't quite explain immediately. Yet, wasn't this the same feeling he got when he got into battle, when that excitement overtook his mind?
  99.
  100. But just like it had always been, they were unable to truly push into it, to take some of the mana that was abundant inside them.
  101.
  102. "I...I can feel it, but I'm really not too sure...If I can actually reach into it just yet?" Their voice paused, yet there was a moment of excitement, as now he knew exactly what he was aiming for.
  103.
  104. Theyhad already decided, they were going to be able to do this, even if it took another few years.
  105. (Eshmun Hirai)
  106. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  107.
  108. [03:16] As his student got to work on tapping into his convergence points, Saba pulls out the healing elixir he had stored in his bag a few moments ago, and decides that now is the ideal time to down it. With a quick flick the cap was removed, and the glass vial was brought to his lips, as he chugged the vial's contents.
  109.
  110. It had an odd taste to it. It didn't taste, bad or good, just... Odd.
  111.
  112. The effects of the elixir kicked in immediately! First it went through his nervous system, and repaired what damage the lighting had caused to it. Next the bones in his mythril legs began to snap back into place. In fact the snapping, and cracking of his metal legs could probably be heard by the two sitting down at the table with him.
  113.
  114. It was defiantly gross.
  115.
  116. Last but not least, came all the water that had burst its way into his body. Wait, oh Huatl, oh fuck! The chieftain quickly rushed out of his seat and sprinted outside, where he then proceeded to vomit up all the water that had been inside of him.
  117.
  118. Which to say the least, was incredibly gross, and probably traumatic to anyone who happened to see it!
  119.
  120. A few moments later he entered back into Esh's house, making his way back to his seat, just in time to listen to his new student!
  121.
  122. "Oh uhh...Right, so some advice for that whole thing, and I probably should have said it before, but! You should probably take it one convergence point at a time, learn to tap into one, before moving onto the next. It'll make the whole thing a whole lot easier.
  123.
  124. Though uhh, be careful when it comes to the heart, Adonis nearly had a heart attack when I taught him about that.
  125.
  126. I'm sure you'll have it down in no time though!"
  127. (Saba Sugar)
  128. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  129.
  130. [03:16] {Item} You drop Elixir Of Healing.
  131. [03:16] Reggie asks, "You gonna eat that?"
  132. [03:25] The reaction to the legs snapping back into place was mute, as...He really was trying to concentrate on literally anything else but how it sounded like. Even the loud committing going on outside was fairly horrifying, though ignoring it all was at least not too hard.
  133.
  134. "That makes sense...Doing one at a time, if three different convergence points, which...So far seem like batteries inside us, all go off at once when we are used to none...I can only see that going poorly." Quietly now, they'd be sitting in the chair, slowly prodding against the point in his throat. They could feel it, but right now they definitely weren't able to actually break through it.
  135.
  136. "I'm sure I'll have this down, soon! I'm not going o let my own body defeat me, this is the truth about my being, and I will know all of it." Boldly speaking aloud, his concentration was high, quickly working on feeling out the point.
  137.
  138. "I think this might be a good stopping point for tonight though."
  139. (Eshmun Hirai)
  140. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  141.
  142. [03:30] The ookami was just a little uneased by the sound of the unsnapping bones. The puking wasn't something he wasn't used to however. He grew up around the sickly and impoverished, his town having been stricken with a famine from poor yields on harvests. It still wasn't a pretty picture, but not everything could be as clean as one would hope.
  143.
  144. "Stopping points are always good, when your mind is overwhelmed. Otherwise the knowledge won't hold when you wake up the next morning."
  145. (Reggie)
  146. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  147.
  148. [03:30] A wave of relief finally rushed over the Chieftain as he sat in the chair. He was no longer a cripple! He no longer had to crawl around to get to places, and oh boy was he happy about that.
  149.
  150. Right, still teaching, now's not the time to gloat about being fixed.
  151.
  152. "Right, now just... Be careful, okay? I had the same attitude as you when I was your age learning about this, and it uhh… Well it nearly ruined my body, but that was mostly due to the next step, not so much these two!
  153.
  154. Anyways, give it some time, and practice on your own, or come seek me out when you wish to practice it again. Doesn't really matter to me! Either way, today was a good start. You'll have it mastered in no time, I'm sure of it."
  155.
  156. Once more he'd flash his student a thumbs up, as he pushed himself out of his chair, and did a bit of stretching.
  157.
  158. "You got this."
  159. (Saba Sugar)
