  2. -----------
  3. >It's a "character is sick" episode
  4. What illnesses would the characters most likely have?
  5. Not in "what would their lifestyles lead to them contracting" way, but more in a "what would be ironic or handicap them in a way that they and the others have to think outside the box" way.
  6.
  7. Also, if they're all sick, would it be like that one episode from the Young Ones?
  8. -
  9. >Charlie
  10. Some sort of throat or respiratory infection that prevents her from singing
  11. >Vaggie
  12. Anything that leaves her tired and with muscular weakness, so she can no longer choke a bitch or brandish her spear when someone pisses her off
  13. >Husk
  14. Stomach flu. He can no longer keep his liquor down.
  15. >Niffty
  16. Another respiratory thing, specifically one with alot of sneezing and such, maybe just bad seasonal allergies. The piles of tissues that constantly need cleaning up would drive her insane, as would the knowledge that dust is accumulating elsewhere while she lies in bed.
  17. >Angel Dust
  18. Something with either his skin or his fluff that marrs his beauty, leading him to refuse to leave his room except at night when it's dark and everyone is asleep
  19. >Alastor
  20. Kuru. He's already got it.
  21. -
  22. I was thinking the same with many of them, with the exception of Husk and Alastor.
  23. I would've given Al the stomach bug (he's a chef, and not being able to keep food down would be an issue), or a similar respiratory infection that would've robbed him of his voice, while making Husk go through an itchy, painful molting.
  24. Same thing with Angel Dust, except he's effectively loosing an exoskeleton hidden underneath all his fluff, and looks like a plucked chicken underneath it, whilst also being weak and sensitive to sound and light.
  25. -
  26. Are you thinking something like Laryngitis for Alastor, for his voice?
  27. -
  28. Yeah.
  29. --------------------
  30. How much of a "true" mad scientist is Baxter like?
  31. A true mad scientist :
  32. >asexual / aromantic
  33. >hammy or quiet
  34. >hasn't left the lab (much less the house) for at least 10 months
  35. >relying on their minions to run errands for them
  36. >pale skin (for the reasons seen above)
  37. Though I feel like Charlie is trying to push Baxter to be more outgoing and extroverted, as well as convincing him to go out more often.
  38. -
  39. We don't have much official characterization for him, less then most since he's presently confined to concept art, but I do think he's going to be strongly antisocial and irritable, and a big element of his arc will end upbeing Charlie trying to get him to leave his lab once in a while and eat something other than plain sandwiches, coffee, and cigarettes. She'll be gentle and coaxing about it, meanwhile Vaggie will be the one to kick down the door and be like
  40. >GET YOUR HANDS OFF YOUR TEST TUBES AND COME EAT DINNER WITH THE REST OF THE GUESTS YOU SCALY BASTARD
  41. >CHARLIE WENT AND GOT FISH AND CHIPS SPECIFICALLY FOR YOU
  42. >IF YOU HURT HER FEELINGS BY BREAKING A PROMISE AGAIN I'M GOING TO BREAK SOMETHING OF YOURS AND IT WON'T BE A PIECE OF LAB EQUIPMENT
  43. -
  44. >Vaggie gets extremely brutal when it comes to hurting Charlie's feelings
  45. >You could have said something as little as critiquing a dress she has or something and Vaggie would football tackle you.
  46. --
  47. >that moment when Baxter will never be able to get a partner because Baxter's idea of a perfect date is eating takeout food in his lab while his date wants to go out to a restaurant, museum or movie theater
  48. >there will be a lot of conflict regarding this
  49. >one day, he loses his temper and screams at her, leaving the poor lady crying
  50. >Alastor sees this
  51. >Alastor has to teach him how to treat a lady
  52. -
  53. >No "be our guest" style disney song with Alistor singing about how to be a proper gentlemen
  54. Ah fuck I didn't know I wanted this
