  1. Student Wellness Review
  2.
  3. Glancing superficially at the Dimensions of Wellness and Student Worksheets I can see that I am of fairly well health however it is not due to leading a particularly good lifestyle in any area. If anything it is due to the fact that I come from a healthy family and still have my youth.
  4. Physically I am not particularly strong nor fast, and I lack stamina for sustained exertion. Although I can easily handle sustained low levels of exertion due to my involvement in working outdoors in the yard of a rental property. This can be improved with more regular exercise and activity.
  5. Emotionally I am quite healthy as I can maintain a healthy stoic attitude when necessary. However I do suffer from being easily annoyed and bad habits of mine do depress my mood. Those habits generally revolve around a failure to “take care of business” which is something that positive lifestyle changes will greatly lessen.
  6. Intellectually I would argue I am fine though arrogant and overconfident. I need to exercise greater diligence however I have a solid foundation to build off of.
  7. Interpersonal Health is okay but could be much improved. I need to socialize more and it has been a while since I was in a relationship. However the latter is not on my list of priorities right now.
  8. Spiritual Health is just fine for my personal tastes. I do involve myself with a Church and it’s fulfilling in addition to assisting my Interpersonal Health. We meet every other Sunday, have some fun, and then have a short Bible study. There’s wisdom to be had there, currently focusing on the book of Ephesians wherein Paul gives advice to the early Christian community on how to thrive as Christians. Very useful.
  9. I live in a very healthy environment, so Environmental Health is not a concern of mine. Occupational Health on the other hand may be as I do nothing but sit down for four hour sessions each day. If less than a quarter of that time was spent exercising I would be in much better health. Moreover I don’t have much time between the end of class and my job so if I do eat it is often unhealthy fast food.
