[23:05] * Zrvnsqr mumbles angrily... in the direction of one gaurd...

[23:07] * [Tess]Dross quickly taps her feet to dash towards one of the guards, stopping directly in front. She looks nervous.
[23:07] * [Rut]Ellise sloshes her gourd around, a bit. It sounds like water at the bottom of a well.

[23:09] <%[k]Jung-ko> FOR THE HOOOOORRRRRDE!
[23:09] * [k]Jung-ko is still doing her battlecry stuff.

[23:11] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> The guard seems groggy for a moment, but shakes it off.
[23:11] * [Mode]Sara somewhat fails to parry the attacks coming her way, taking a few glancing blows.
[23:11] * Zrvnsqr calms down slightly noticing who the comment was directed at...
[23:12] * Maryn sighs...
[23:12] <Maryn> I didn't want to do this..
[23:13] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> The harpie queen rears up to her full height.

[23:14] * [BNS]Minase flings a Fireball at the Queen
[23:15] * [BNS]Minase 's spell fizzles again!
[23:15] <[Rut]Ellise> Now, then...
[23:16] * [Rut]Ellise sips from the gourd and swishes liquid around in her mouth. With her free hand, she draws what looks like a decorative hair comb, with the teeth held outwards, between her fingers. Her smile doesn't fade, but something about her darkens.
[23:16] <[BNS]Minase> Someone help! I'm out of MP!
[23:17] * [Mode]Sara recovering from the attacks suffered, Sara swings her scythe around to clear out the guards, and pivoting around, uses the momentum to swing her scythe towards the Queen.
[23:17] * Zrvnsqr sips on some imaginary tea in her imaginary world where everyone isn't so needy and whiney...
[23:17] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> The queen dodges Sara's strike, lifting her body into the air.
[23:17] <Zrvnsqr> .oO(What the fuck is MP?)
[23:17] * [Rut]Ellise raises the comb, level with her eyes, which seem to have a reddish glow. She spits a mist into the air, along the teeth of the comb. They erupt into three-foot long blades, glowing red with a sinister power. She suddenly lunges at the queen.
[23:18] * [k]Jung-ko only knows TP.
[23:18] <%[k]Jung-ko> I have TP-potion here, but it's expensive.
[23:18] <%[k]Jung-ko> You must pay with your body afterwards.
[23:18] <[Mode]Sara> Fu-
[23:19] * [BNS]Minase burns Jung-ko with residual heat and catches the potion when she drops it, quickly quaffing the vial
[23:20] <%[k]Jung-ko> Aiee!
[23:20] <%[k]Jung-ko> Didn't your mom tell you NOT to shoot team's healer?!
[23:20] <[BNS]Minase> Oh hush
[23:23] * [Tess]Dross switches up her footing and lifts her foot to kick the opponent in step with her tapping. Phew, it worked...
[23:25] * Zrvnsqr flipping through her mind she remembers some things... ?hctitswodahS si lleh eht tahW ...With some amount of appropriate imagery... things... happen... The guard is as bewildered as Zrvnsqr...
[23:26] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> What looks like black thread literally stitches the guard's shadow to the floor. She's completely immobilized.
[23:28] * Maryn pulls out her sword...she huffs a little...
[23:30] * Zrvnsqr 's shadow has finished anchoring the guard's shadow to the floor with stitching that is also made of shadow. An impossibility to be sure.
[23:31] * Maryn sighs.. and changes her stance and swings into one of the guards!
[23:32] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> The guard is deeply wounded.
[23:33] <Maryn> I warned you..
[23:33] <Maryn> Stand down NOW
[23:33] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> "We'll stand down when we have your corpse."
[23:34] <Maryn> Fine..
[23:34] * Maryn smirks..
[23:36] <Maryn> Bring it.
[23:36] * Maryn taunts them with just a single finger.
[23:36] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> The harpies swoop in for another attack.
[23:38] * [Tess]Dross tries to jump aside but slips, taking a direct hit. She tumbles along the ground, then gets up and takes a different stance. She winces, but it seems to pass.
[23:44] * Maryn blocks it with her sword with ease.. is taht all you got?....
[23:45] * Zrvnsqr sits down and starts reading a manual that is conveniently in her pocket... What the hell DO these spells do?
[23:46] <Maryn> Cmon... you can do better than that.. can't you?...
[23:46] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> The harpies manage to land a hit on Zero and Dross, and two on Ellise
[23:47] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> In the next assault, the group manages to kill off all the guards in a blaze of steel and magic.
[23:47] <[Rut]Ellise> ...
[23:48] * Zrvnsqr is now at -9 hit points from the last blow... A bug in the system causing her max to be equal to 0. Or maybe she's just unconscious AND crazy now...
[23:51] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> The harpie queen remains.
[23:52] <Zrvnsqr> ... I think I should... faint? Blackout maybe?...
[23:52] * Zrvnsqr is perplexed at her current state...
[23:52] * [Tess]Dross begins to move around with steps similar to a tap dance, waiting for an opportunity to attack or cue to dodge.
[23:56] <Maryn> ....
[23:56] <Maryn> damn.. them...
[23:57] * [Rut]Ellise jumps and strikes, aiming high, at the face. The claw lets off an extremely bright spark as it completes it's swing.
[23:57] * [BNS]Minase starts casting another Fireball
[23:58] * [BNS]Minase lets the Fireball loose, aiming for the Queen's face
[00:01] * Maryn sighs and turns back.. and simply watches this time..
[00:01] * Zrvnsqr mumbles what she thinks might be a spell that does something that she has no idea what, but definitely doesn't succeed due to the obvious lack of sound effects upon finishing...
[00:02] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> The queen is able to avoid most, but not all, of the attacks. The fireball gets her square in the face.
[00:02] * [Tess]Dross jumps and kicks at the queen, but falls short. Upon landing, she qucickly taps back to her earlier distance.
[00:04] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> She lashes out at Sara in anger.
[00:04] * [Mode]Sara in the chaos, Sara manages a light hit in her swings from the ground, cursing up a storm in the meanwhile.
[00:04] <[Mode]Sara> Hah!
[00:05] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> Tch!
[00:05] * [Rut]Ellise takes the opportunity presented by the queen's offensive to flank!
[00:08] * [Mode]Sara takes a few steps back, then with a few quick steps, launches herself into the air, raising her scythe over her head.
[00:08] * Zrvnsqr mutters something that could easily be mistaken for a sneeze. It ends with a shushing motion...
[00:08] <[Mode]Sara> Act now and receive half off on air travel fares!
[00:09] * [Mode]Sara slashes down with a heavy swing as she closes on the Queen.

[00:09] <Reiuzi_Utsuho> Her yell of pain and frustration is suddenly cut short. She clutches her throat, but no sound comes out.

[00:17] * [BNS]Minase misses her mark, blackening a point on the far wall and sending bits of rock flying

[00:18] * [Tess]Dross falls to the floor and resumes her tap dancing, only to stop when she realizes the queen stopped moving.

[00:19] * Maryn claps smiling.

[00:21] * [Tess]Dross makes sure to step lightly, trying not to splash blood on her clothes as she walks over and begins to deprive the queen's corpse of anything that looks of value.

[00:23] * [BNS]Minase grabs her pillow case o' loot and runs over to the queen's bed and nightstand, taking anything shiny and valuable

[00:24] * [Mode]Sara also proceeds to loot the Queen and surrounding area.

[00:26] * [Rut]Ellise also checks the now-mutilated Queen. Specifically, for anything artifact-like or magical. The claw "evaporates" back into a comb, and she tucks it away.
