  9. With September drawing closer, I have been receiving requests from Cpl. Wright asking if we have some more information on a curriculum that could be expected while training with the 125th SFS. I hope you don't mind, I've taken some time and drawn out a rough schedule for your review. This schedule includes several ideas on how we can best show the Air National Guard's mission sets and capabilities, with the limelight on Security Forces.
  10.
  11. Key to all of this will be buy in from leadership, including at the Group and Wing levels. Past MREP exchanges have had a unit PA representatives present at many of the activities for photo ops and information gathering for publishing stories. I think it would be beneficial for us to look into having FANG PA do something like that in this case as well as it will help promote future relations and opportunities for the 125 SFS.
  12.
  13. With Wing Leadership's support I hope we can leverage some days and dollars towards an FTX in September while Cpl. Wright is here so that he may attend and get hands on with our weapons systems and sees first-hand the 125th SFS and it's training. With 2 1/2 months lead time I'd hope we could get some members on AT/ST days and some vehicles for a simulated FOB and Convoy Ops exercise out at Camp Blanding.
  14.
  15. I'd be happy to lay more ground work and get into contact with the people necessary to make some of this stuff happen, I just wanted the blessing from higher up in my chain before moving forward.
  16.
  17. Please find below a very rough sketch of a possible schedule of events:
  18.
  19. Day 1 (Sept 5) - Initial landing, quick introduction to POC's, check in at hotel
  20.
  21. Day 2 (Sept 6)- Formal introductions with Sqd/Grp/Wing Command. Wing PA photo op, RAuxAF Regiment briefing (Cpl. Wright will bring briefing material and will just need a block of time to present to an audience of our choosing), Introduction to 125th FW/SFS key players, scheduling finalization and troubleshooting
  22.
  23. Day 3 (Sept 7) - Introduction to security operations on Jacksonville IAP, Attend post visits with flight chief. Sitdown with ESS NCOIC for run down of electronic security capabilities.
  24.
  25. Day 4 (Sept 8) - Continue familiarization with security ops on Jacksonville IAP
  26.
  27. Day 5 (Sept 9, weekend) - Cultural day, will need to plan an outing to local attractions

  48.
  49. I'd like to also note that MREP participants were informed during our brief in DC that dollars for rental vehicles are not included in the package, but that in the past units have furnished their exchanged members GOV's or arranged transport with unit members. This will be an issue we'll have to solve before he gets here, maybe with the help of SSgt Martin. Transportation to and from Dulles International will also need to be our unit's responsibility.
  50.
  51. For Cpl. Wright's cultural days he's expressed an interest in fishing and hunting, further planning for these sort of activities can be planned in specific terms once the dates draw closer.
  52.
  53. Please let me know what you think and let me know what I can do to help get some of these ideas off the ground.
  54.
  55. Thank you.
  56.
  57. V/r,
