Battle with Ice-Half shift 1

Training

It's been non-stop for him. Ever since he learned how to properly use and control Ice magic. It pratically worked wonders for him. He eventually even took it upon himself to start sculpting things as a hobby as he traveled around Frostvale. Other than that. He went to simple things like creating a pole to knock a frozen fruit out of a tree. To creating landslides filled with ice or even used Ice to turn the path infront of him into a pratical path way. One that he would use to travel around as he really didn't have to do much but stand still. The path of ice that he formed as he moved along what just do the rest.

Now. He found himself outside of Dragon's Peak. Creating a small slide just big enough for him as he came down the multiple stairs before hitting the ground floor. With a small bunny hop. He landed on the snow that laid out before him on the ground. Smiling, he looked outwards in the horizon. Soon he had wondered if Millia had missed him from Nostvale. He should just send her a letter right? But the question was. Did she still live there? He had no clue. What if his sent letter would never get to her. Then again. How would he exactly send it to her. That was also another question. He had no form of a sheet of paper of anything that can write with ink. Or even ink in that matter. Sighing. Kyo didn't know what he should do. But he knew that as of right now, he just wanted to see the landscape of the wilderness. Imaging how much would it change after he got this place up and running again

 The mysterious yokai would be flying over the horizion looking down for prey as it saw a strange figure out below it it gave a toothy smile before landing with full impact creating a small cloud of dust as it landed,

it would look at the boy with intrest such a young boy to be learning ice magic so quick it would then speak to the boy.

"Quite far from home aren't you boy?." Its voice sounding practily femine if not a bit raspy prehaps a part of its daemonic blood, no matter it would circle the small figure wondering what type of potienal it had.

The Strange Encounter

Staring out into the distance. Kyo smiled as he saw not one disturbance in the area that was laid out before him. He knew that he could make this work. He knew that they could make it work. The both of them together. Side by side. Fighting against all the odds. But there it was. There it had happened. Here it had happened. Within the few seconds that Kyo had thought that it was time to return to his training of meditiation within the walls of Dragon's Peak. Kyo found out that there was something else. Something different in the air, and thats when he saw it.

A black figure coming out of the blue which suddenly came down in a rather fast motion as it crashed down into the ground right infront of him. Cautious and rather afraid of what had just happened. Kyo took it upon himself to take a few steps back as he leveled out his hands to each side. Crouching a little bit as he bent his knees incase he needed to roll out of the way of a projectile at a moments notice.

It was then that the cloud that had erupted from the crash had finally faded which revealed the creature. "This is my home." he replied to it. The young Drakanite would then stand up straight. Looking towards the creature. He stared it straight into its beady red eyes. Trying to make himself look defiant and unafraid. "Aren't you far from home?" he questoined

The Black yokai would smile and sort of do a soft rumbling chuckle as it approached keeping its hands where you could see them not wanting to startle you as it closed its wings not wanting them to get in the way,

"Yes.... far.... needed..... food..." The echo of a voice in your head as it eyed you unsure of your capability's as it got closer no doubt it was hungry for yokai flesh but instead took joy in having fun with other races,

it would stop two feet infront of you waiting for your next action as it tilted its head letting out a soft gurgle of enjoymeant as it watched your reactions to its arrival.

The Yokai

Still standing, Kyo stared at the yokai not knowing exactly what it was. But he knew that if he kept his distance. That he would have a couple of seconds to prepare himself for battle. If not, he would obviously carry on the conversation with the creature. But for one thing. His head did hurt a little bit when the creature spoke. He found it weird that the creature communicated through telepathy. It was weird. and a little bit hurtful.

Soon, he noticed how the creature started to approach him in a rather slow manner. But its hands weren't raised. Which meant what? He wasn't sure. But if the creature would get to close to him. He would take multiple steps back to keep a confortable distance. Watching carefully, he noticed that it tucked its wings away as it kept on walking towards him. It was then that it spoke once more. Basically saying that it needed food. Which was something. Only direwolves ran around here time after time. But it was rare. So the creature would have a hard time seeking for them. It was then that the creature got to close to him. Standing only about two feet away from him. Which made Kyo think that he should totally back up. The creature was just way to close to him. It was freaky. "I think that the grasslands further from this winter wonderland would be a better place for food" he said. Trying to smile dispite his unconfortable feeling of his closeness to such an unknown creature

It would simply smile before speaking "Prey.....Weak....in...forest....human....seems....fun" it reached into your mind speaking those exact words, it wanted to taste something other then yokai as it saw your potential,

It then let out a terrible screech in your head trying to drop your gaurd down as it looked deep into your eyes with its own trying to use its limited intelligence to get the drop on you as it watches you writhe from the assault on your mind,

it would then cover itself in a dark aura surrounding its body almost like a flame as it got ready to fight obiviously wanting to test your abilites against it.

 First 1 v 1 fight

After having his brain being mentally probed once more with its eerie voice. Kyo couldn't help but to have a headache. The pain was small but nagging. Annoying if anything, bu he pushed through. He was just hoping that the creature infront of him wasn't going to fight him. But that was the exact opposite thing that the creature wanted to do. Frowning. He felt like something was about to happen. One of those sixth sense moments. But there it was. Standing there one minute, and the next. A terrible screech booming throughout his head and causing him to drive his knees towards the ground. Gripping his head with both of his hands. Kyo screamed out in pain. But it wasn't long before the screeching had stopped. Which got rid of his voice that boomed throughout his brain.

Struggling. He stood up from the ground in a dizzy fit as he moved side to side. He was in pain. But he had to get over it. Looking up, Kyo saw that the creature was now covered in a rather dark aura. The feeling that was coming from it was rather sick and demeaning. The presence of it was killing him. But still. He had to deal with it. Taking a few steps back. He suddenly raised both of his arms up. Water flooded the scene as it started to form all around him. Healing him and easing the wooziness from the depraved aura. He then reached out with both hands. Vapor begun to surround both of his hands. Then he clenched both of his fists. Two dual blades spawned in each of his hands. Each a decent length as he stared at the creature.

"You don't have to do this..." he warned

 The creautre would frown seeing as the human got up from the mental assault on it, the yokai would begin to use its dark aura to curropt the ground around it using all of its dark abilites on the strange human if needed,

it then charged at you trying to inflict as much damage on your body as it could using its claws and magic to hurt you as much as possible not going in to kill you no the creature didnt want to kill instead it wanted to inflict pain prehaps as a passing time or prehaps to test you it matter not for the creature was coming and coming fast towards you.

The yokai would growl clenching onto the icy burns that covered its body it knew the boy was capable of using energy but this new sensation of having ice cold burns on its body was new, it tried its best to shrug them off standing up as it let out a painful growl.

it would assume a much more defensive stance trying to let you come to it instead its magic seeming to take affect on you as well just not the affect the yokai had hoped as it tested your abilites.

Battle

It wasn't going to be easy. Tightening his grip on each blade that he had made from pure ice. Kyo really didn't know what he was going to do. Other than the fact that he had to win or else he could die. That's how he saw it. Especially how the creature was talking about eating earlier.

Easing his weight from one foot to the other. Kyo watched the creature carefully as it started to corrupt the ground in a fit of rage. Jumping back away from the damage. Kyo began his assualt. This battle had reminded him of the one that he had with the guards along the Sarab's border. Crazy huh? Adernaline pumping through him. He had never felt so alive before. It took seconds for the creature to charge at him with its claws aimed for the kill. Or so he thought as he prepared to guard himself. It was only then a battle would start off with a loud clash before ending an half an hour later with the yokai on the ground. Heaving as his breathing labored. Kyo stared at the creature as both weapons were in either hands. He was ready for a round two, and so was the creature as it stood back up.

But the only thing was. Kyo didn't seem to have the odds of winning this one as he used up everything he had in the first round. Making him rather more defenseless now than before.' It's either now or never' Kyo thought as he focused to his wings, and then moments later. Crystalized wings that where practically normal wings but imbued with Ice. An amazing combination if you asked him. This is what he needed for this fight. More grounds, and with this. He was sure to win

] The yokai spitting out bits of blood would look at the boy and let out a soft chuckle as it watched him,


"Human....strong....sastfied..." it said reaching into your head again as though it had no intention of killing you but wanted you to think that way as it stared into your eyes giving you a big toothy smile.


"Mihari.....go....now?." it asked wanting your permission as a sign of respect for putting up a good fight seeking your approval as it seeked to leave not wanting to anger you further as it gave its head a small bow.

Watching the creature take up a rather more defensive approach. Kyo gritted his teeth. Body aching through the constant battle. Going back and forth with the creature. Which intended to get rather physical quickly. Using his wings. Kyo had a bit of an advantage. Using them to parry blows as well as enabling him to shove the creature back many times to throw it off guard. Kyo was pratically winning now. Even though he was tired. It had seemed that the creature was growing tired aswell.. It took no time for Kyo to finally knock the creature towards the ground, and with one triuphant smile. Kyo knew that he had one.

Both blades in his hand. The two ice blades disappeared with the wind seconds later as he forced it too. It was then that he saw the creature on the ground spitting out blood before it seemed to laugh in some kind of twisted way? It then spoke once more as it seemed to be satisfied enough with him. Maybe he just wanted to spar and Kyo thinking of the creature wanting to kill him was wrong. Which in all honesty. He probably was. Smiling, he waved towards the creature as it asked if it could go. A perfect sigh of respect to him. It then dawned upon him that the creature just came for a good fight. Which made him feel a little better about himself because it showed him that he could fight on his own. Woo!

"Yeah you can go!" he replied " My name is Kyo by the way! Take care" he called out towards the creature
