Elliot Hallaster is a young British teenager. He has white skin, light brown hair and green eyes. He also wears a black glove in his left hand, as that whole arm is covered in scars from... magical complications. He comes from a loving home of muggles, which were very surprised when a teacher from Hogwarts appeared at their door informing them that their son was a wizard. His mother, Helen, is a [NOT YET DEFINED], and his father, Kendrik, is a [NOT YET DEFINED], which allows him a comfortable living.

He has a 10.5 inches cedar wand, with Phoenix Core, just slightly springy. He has a pouch with an increased internal size and weight reduction enchantment, and is also in possession of a copy of Potions Most Potente he stole from the Restricted Section of the Hogwarts Library.

His greatest goal is to one day find a lost civilization. Whether it is Atlantis, Thule or Ker Ys, it does not matter. He intends to find it, uncover its secrets and use its power to reverse the death of his best friend, Taylor Cycad.

Linda Cobris is a pale muggleborn girl who once insisted on calling herself Raven Everdark. She was obsessed with demons and the occult, and even had her tongue split in two, refusing to tell anyone how she got it, with no explanation other than that she was a “real snake”. She seems to have gotten past that phase after the loss of Taylor Cycad, her best friend and boyfriend at the hands of Lily Potter.

She wears her long dark hair just past the middle of her back, and foregoes make-up and usually dresses in her normal Hogwarts robes, or pale tones when out of school. Ever since Taylor died, she has this deep longing and sadness, sometimes looking into the distance as if seeing something no one else can. She used to be able to cast an incorporeal patronus, but no longer can.

Her mother is a very strange hippie, one-with-nature type of woman, who was delighted to discover her daughter had magical powers. She also has a sister, who has taken her personality from her mother, and who is expected to come to Hogwarts next year.

Artemis Pertinger, also known as Arty, is a very short, wide-eyed and jumpy girl with auburn hair curling inwards slightly above her shoulders and a few freckles on her cheeks around her button nose. Because of magical problems with her birth, which also affected her height, she has less magic than most people, tiring herself more easily, which she tries to make up for with hard work and effort. She is always with a wide smile, and when she’s working at the Three Broomsticks she strolls around with a pair of roller skates to try to make up for her height.

She’s an orphan, and as such uses the Hogwarts fund to pay most of her expenses. She does not want to accept that, however, and works at the Three Broomsticks to make some money to buy her own things. As such, she wears robes a couple of sizes too large, as she bought them larger so she could grow into them.

Apollo Pertinger is a very tall, muscular and serious boy with short but unruly curly blonde hair and freckles on his cheeks. Besides the freckles, he also shares his sister’s button nose, which looks odd on his masculine face. Because of magical circumstances with his birth, he has far more magic than most people, being able to cast spells with far more strength than most. He has issues communicating, usually speaking in short sentences, and trouble connecting with people, which has made him isolated.

He’s an orphan, and uses the Hogwarts student fund to pay most of her expenses. As such, most of his clothes, other than the ones Arty gifted him, are of lower quality or second/third-hand. He doesn't care, and just can't understand why his sister cares so much. Still, he supports her and walks her to and from her job every weekend.

Brighton Longbottom, son of Griffyndor head of house Neville Longbottom, is a tall boy with a large nose and a blond* hair in a Faux Hawk cut. He is extremely arrogant, and the fact that he is not in the house his father is head of is a particularly sore point. He has two companions which are always by his side, Summer and Winter Nott, and no one is quite sure about the nature of the relationship, though rumors abound.

He’s extremely clever and top of his class, no easy feat in Ravenclaw, but often lets his ego take the best of him. His mother, Hannah Longbottom, is the current owner of the Three Broomsticks in, though he doesn’t frequent it much, for fear that his mother will embarrass him in front of his classmates.

*He shares the hair color with his father, as book-Neville is blonde

Hugo Granger-Weasley is the son of auror Ronald Weasley and the current Minister for Magic, Hermione Granger. As a Weasley, he inherited the freckles and the red hair, which he uses in a messy, all-over fashion without care.

Elend Buckling is the son of millionaire muggles who were very surprised about this whole “magic” affair, but are stoutly supportive of their son, providing ample financial support. He has sharp features, with short dark hair swept back and stuck in place in a way that almost looks like it is constantly being gently blown by the wind. He dresses equally sharply, choosing to discard the usual wizard vests and replace them with a shirt and traditional waistcoat (when not in battle, that is), which meant the shift to the Raiders’ informal attire of full suit and monocle required very little effort from him.

Amalia Hearth is the adoptive daughter of a wizard who works at the ministry, who found her while investigating reports of accidental magic in an orphanage. She is a blonde girl with long, half-curly hair reaching her lower back, which she wears in a bun during fights. She also uses tiny half-moon glasses that scream "librarian". Even when she’s out of army duties, she’s extremely composed, rarely losing her calm, and is known to be able to, with a single look, silence rowdy Ravenclaws who are interrupting other people’s study.

Talon Batt is the son of a wizard couple, owners of a small shop on Diagon Alley. He has dark brown skin and curly hair. His teenage years have stretched him into a thin and gangly shape, which is just now starting to fill out. He’s known in Hufflepuff for being Flitwick’s favorite student, even though the part-goblin professor is the head of Ravenclaw, and has two weekly “classes” he gives to Hufflepuffs who are falling behind in Charms.

His patronus charm in the form of a Lion often gets him envious looks from Gryffindors.

Taylor Cycad was a dark skinned half-blood boy of Indian descent. He always had his hair nicely combed, wore large rectangular glasses and loved astronomy. Most nights he could be seen trying to sneak out of the common room to go watch the stars at the Astronomy Tower, and his greatest ambition was to someday build a house on the moon. His father was very excited for him to have gone to Slytherin, as he had no real idea of the old prejudice associated with the house, while his mother was less than happy, but always supportive.

Taylor was killed by an Avada Kedavra from Lily Potter during the expedition to Merlin's Last Light.

Lily Luna Potter was a tall pureblood girl with a red mane of the Weasley family hair cut at slightly below shoulder length, and a vast sea of freckles covering her face. Daughter of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley, she was Head Girl, Prefect, seeker of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, leader of one of her year’s armies and an overachiever in general. She spent her childhood training with her brothers and parents, and as such had a defined muscular mass and small scars strewn here and there, though both aspects only served to make her even more gorgeous. This, coupled with her height, made her an intimidating figure when she wanted to be. She tended to use practical, battle-ready clothes instead of robes whenever possible.

Lily was a host to the same type of creature as the one living in Elliot's head. However, her version of the it had been tormenting her since she was a child, manipulating and controlling her, all to force her to find Merlin's Last Light. In her final months, the creature destroyed her soul and took full control of her body.

During the expedition to Merlin's Last Light, the creature controlling her body fought against Elliot, Raven and Taylor, killing Taylor and getting killed by an Avada Kedavra from Raven.
