  11. Being a living planet without life upon myself is... well, perhaps it would be annoying to one lacking the means to better themselves. I, on the other hand, have a Star Forge capable of cranking out truly massive amounts of material, and so I was less helpless than one might assume. While Remina was eating the other planets in the system, I was busy preparing for battle.
  12.
  13. When the fear-maddened masses of humanity looked to the skies, they saw an unexpected clash. A silver-black Mars-sized planetoid swiftly approached the massive Remina above in the heavens above, and as the Hellstar extended its tongue to lick the Earth, the dark planet opened a needle-filled maw and bit it off, consuming it. The Necrodermis-clad opponent then began to fight more actively - Remina had other tools at its disposal, but the armor seemed to protect it for the most part, while the fleet bombarding the Hellstar didn't seem to be having any effect.
  14.
  15. Right up until the point that it did.
  16.
  17. Later review found that what was striking the planet was not weapons, but instead some sort of pylon, and once they hit a critical mass it began to slow and its more esoteric abilities were curbed. At this point it began to try to leave, only to move far more slowly than was previously observed. And then the dark planet abruptly crashed into Remina's eye... and began chewing its way through it, the whole of it splitting open on its equatorial axis to expose a horrifyingly massive maw, taking ever more massive bites out of the Hellstar as it grew, the Hellstar thrashing about in rage and terror.
  18.
  19. In the end, the Dark Planet was the size of the Hellstar when it was through. But rather than turning its baleful viridian gaze upon the Earth to continue what Remina stopped, it instead only paused long enough for its accompanying fleet to land upon its surface, heading in the direction Remina had come from. The asteroid belt still existed, but the only remaining intact planets were Mercury and Venus at this point; the rest were rubble left over from the Hellstar's feeding frenzy.
  20.
  21. Truly, the night is dark and full of terrors.
