Zenescope's Grimm Fairy Tales presents OZ!

So I read this awesome GN called OZ, Where Dorothy is a tall, scantily clad adult woman, and, and Toto is this HUGE wolf that escaped Oz fleeing the wicked witch of the west and finds Dorothy.

And yeah, the wicked Witch shows up to try to take Toto back, but is scared off by Dorothys shotgun toting uncle, so the witch causes a tornado, and sends toto and dorothy to oz.

and yeah, instead of the house falling on the wicked witch of the east, Glinda gives Dorothy a sword, and she and the munchkins take on her and her army, and kill them all, it's so badass! :D

anyways, dorothy of course meets up with the lion, woodsman, and scarecrow. The Lion is fucking badass warrior character, and the scarecrow is the coward. And the heartless woodsman in the prequel to the story gained his form because he was a slave to the wicked witch, and he tried to escape.

Anyways, the whole story they're trying to get to the emerald city, and find this powerful mage, and complete all the pieces of the scepter that can take dorothy home, which sure enough the Wicked Witch is after, and uses Dorothy to get it.

They all get captured, although Scarecrow fled, being the coward he is...or so we think, as scarecrow shows up later and kills the soldier guarding The Lion, risking his life and gaining the Lions respect. We then find out that the Lion was indeed a coward in the past. He fled with his family when the wicked witches armies attacked, and now he has nothing.

Dorothy and Toto outsmart the Wicked Witchs loyal servant, and get the parts of the scepter that they have and try to use it on her, but she escapes.

Dorothy and Toto head to the Emerald City, and warns them that the wicked witch is on her way.

Sure enough, the Witch shows up, the mage king having the completed scepter screams at her, charging up its magic power, when shock of all shock, the heartless woodsman stabs him from behind with a spear, killing him, as a winged monkey picks up the scepter, now being all powerful.

Dorothy asks why The Woodsman would do this, and he tells her that this was the only way that he could get his life restored. Things seemed dire, but Scarecrow and Lion show up, Lion taking out the Heartless Woodsman in one blow.

Dorothy tells the Witch that she can't for win, for there is too much hope from the good people in the world, and she dares her to do her worst. The Witch says "With pleasure!" and charges the scepters magic, shooting a fire blast towards her. but scarecrow stands in front of her, catching the fire instead as he charges the witch. started the Witch drops the scepter, and dodges his charge. Dorothy grabs the scepter, charging its magic, and disenitgrates the witch. It's this really awesome moment! She then charges it again, firing upon many of the wicked witchs soldiers, the rest fleeing in terror!

They celebrate a victory feast, but Dorothy just wants to head home. So Glinda uses the scepter to send Dorothy home, Toto going with her.

Dear god was this so good! :D
