The entire concept of a "top 100 speedrunners" is an incredibly pointless and honestly pretty demeaning thing. Direct competition is just one small part of all of speedrunning (and imo the least interesting one). The sense of community, start finding, glitch hunting, self improvement, helping each other improve, marathons, showcasing, and everything else that speedrunning has to offer is so much more compelling than who has a better time in x game. Reducing everything down to a place on a leaderboard is insulting to everyone who does anything other than just grind runs 24/7, and I very much doubt there's anyone who has literally only ever grinded their own runs and not contributed in any other way.

Even if we only look at direct competition there's absolutely no way to compare runners of different games in any meaningful way. Most ways (like a certain list based on speedrun.com data) will just favour whoever runs the more popular game which is useless.

Stop trying to make speedrunning esports, it's not. There are other significantly better suited things for that (like people directly competing in 1 game, what a concept)
