  1. Howdy Lads and Ladies,
  2. Twitter is going all out to control the flow of information on the platform and I find it disgusting. Below is a guide on how twitter can ban people. I will try my best to explain how each ban method works, and how each can be avoided. I don’t use apple products, so I apologize for the lack of info about them. Running twitter on your phone is becoming more and more problematic for people who get banned. If you have any ideas on how this guide can be improved or other methods of avoiding bans I would love to hear them. Hit me up on WrongThink: WrongThink.net/Rambo

  5. Ban Methods
  6.
  7. 1) Account verification info
  8. A) How it works – Every account on twitter requires an email address and a phone number. If they ban your account, they blacklist your email address and you phone number. You will not be able to sign up using that email address or phone number.
  9. B) How to avoid detection – You need a new email address and a new phone number. The email address is easy, there are plenty of sites where you can setup a new email addresses but the simplest is Proton Mail (https://protonmail.com/signup). The phone number is a little more tricky, they have blacklisted numbers from apps like textnow and text free. As it stands now, you can still use google voice (https://www.google.com/voice). One limitation to this method is that you need a phone number to verify your google voice, and you can only setup a few google accounts using one number. Another option is to buy a burner phone (another option maybe pay-as-you-go sim cards). You could use a burner phone to create google accounts.

  11. 2) Bread Crumbs
  12. A) How it works – Twitter saves cookies, cache, html databases, etc to your computer. If you don’t delete them, twitter can see what accounts you have used in the past. If you have multiple accounts and one gets suspended, and you sign into the other, both will be suspended. Twitter is going to also going to be banning people based on at what other sites they visit (ie. /pol/, dailystormer, altright.com)
  13. B) How to avoid detection – DELETE THE CRUMBS. You could do this manually but it’s a pain. I recommend using CC Cleaner (https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard). I recommend using a different browser for twitter then you use for everything else. This way you can clear the twitter info without removing the rest. Another option is to browse twitter using a virtual machine. Here is a video guide on installing Ubunutu on a virtual machine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGorVpzZQwA .
  14.
  15. 3) IP Address
  16. A) How it works – Twitter could blacklist your IP address. Personally, I don’t think this is a very common method. If they ban an IP address, that would include everyone using that IP. This would mean, every single accounting in a school, VPN, work place, coffee shop, and even a cell tower.
  17. B) How to avoid detection – YOU NEED A NEW IP. You can call your ISP or you can force the change. Here is a tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuUJhluW0Bw Another option is to get a VPN, TOR, or a proxie service that is not banned by twitter. There are hundreds of options for VPN’s but Proton VPN is probably a good and trustworthy option (https://protonvpn.com/). I recommend using VPN’s that cost money. If you don’t pay for a VPN, then most likely the company is selling your info.
  18.
  19. 4) User Provided Info
  20. A) How it works – This is very common. If twitter recognizes you as a recently banned account, then will ban your new one. This is done with a mix of algorithms and humans monitoring new accounts. Somethings they might look at include: your name, your user name, your avi, your header, your bio, your DOB
  21. B) How to avoid detection – Change things up, give new info. This is kind of a pain because people will initially have a hard time finding you. But, I’m pretty sure that after a few days you can slowly revert back to your old info.
