Well it seems to be arguing that an unintended meme spread which led to bad things, rather than the act itself being bad. Questionable generalization to extend that from there. But if it is generalizable then multiculturalists have an issue as this is again an issue with diversity being inherently unstable, and minority status being rather precarious since all that needs to happen is a hostile majority getting wise ideas from elsewhere and that leading to carnage.

It also poses an inherent challenge to undoing immigration, which suggests immigration should be conservative.
