  1.
  2. Welcome to the beginning of the #ic_snowdin_two channel.
  3. [7:58 PM] David ℛainbowie: Debbie left a trail behind her, the orange ball rolling through the snow up to the librarby. She'd been to it multiple times before, making use of the computers to post on the undernet, even if she didn't fully understand it. She even occasionally talked to monsters there, but only if they talked to her first. She didn't want to be a bother after all.
  4.
  5. She rolled in through the front door, shaking off the snow she might have gathered in her travels and hopped into a seat at one of the computer, rising out of her container. With a sigh, she stretched her arms and started to type, albeit slowly, her mitts falling through the keyboard if she rushed herself.
  6.
  7. "... a... t... space... uh... t... h... e... space..." she worked her way across the keyboard, "... l... i...b, no... it didn't get that one... b..." she looked at the screen to make sure, "... r... a... r... b... y..." and with a few more taps of the keyboard, an enter.
  8. [8:10 PM] David ℛainbowie: She read the update from Lady_Lymefire, reminding her that the chair she was sitting in could spin. So she did just that, hazarding a grip on the desk and giving it a spin. It was really slow, but for someone as weak as Debbie, she got a rush from it all the same, making her giggle a little.
  9.
  10. "Okay... uh... t... h... a... n.. k... s... space... f... o... r..." she toiled away at the keyboard, hitting enter a moment later.

  12. [3:25 AM] Coffee: "Ah, Excuse me," a soft, slightly dusty-sounding voice remarked, from behind Debbie. It came from a rather bookish-looking lady monster, with soft grey fur, huge eyes, and a shock of red hair. She looked incredibly nervous. "Please dont... don't think me rude, but... your sweater, its so cute." Hyalo wrung one pair of hands while the other tugged on the hemline of her skirt. "Would you mind... if... if I borrowed the design of it? I could take a quick sketch, just to get the idea down, you know... if you... don't mind."
  13. [3:43 AM] David ℛainbowie: She turned around in the chair to see who spoke, the monster taking her by suprise. "Oh, uh... my... yeah, if you want. It's just my body though... can't really... take it off..." she attempted to tug at the sleeves, them just moving, not stretching. "I like your outfit too..."
  14. [4:28 AM] Coffee: "I thought that m-might be the case," Hyalo replied, taking a seat in a computer chair nearby, and pulling a sketchbook from somewhere with one hand, a pencil with another, a sharpner with a third, and the last hand pulling a dustbin closer to catch the shavings. "E-Even so... I like your style... and... thank you.. for... for liking mine." The mothmaid blushed and ducked her head to focus on what she was doing.
  15. [4:53 AM] David ℛainbowie: She just sort of... sat there. "You have a lot of arms, huh? I got a pumpkin, but you can see that..." She wasn't sure what to do with herself. The moth lady was trying to draw, so moving too much might mess her up.
  16. [5:00 AM] Coffee: "Yeah... is that... are they... creeping you out? I can hide a set if you don't...like looking at them." Hyalo peeped anxiously over the edge of her sketchbook. "I think your pumpkin is cute, too. It must be nice to have a place to hide in, like a snail, or a turtle... when you feel shy,"
  17. [5:06 AM] David ℛainbowie: "No, they don't... just thinkin' about what I would do with that many arms..." She sat there still. "I use it to hide from scary things... like... angry monsters... and children."
  18. [3:33 PM] Coffee: "Children?" Hyalo asked, a little startled. "You mean, like human children?" Of course, there were monster children, but the mothlady herself didn't find them particularly scary. They were just kids, smaller than her. But humans, with their powerful souls, were scary. Even the little ones.
  19.
  20. Not that she'd ever seen one, of course.
  21. [5:06 PM] David ℛainbowie: "No... just children... a lot of kids like to kick in pumpkins for some reason... It horrible." She shuttered at the thought. "I've never seen a human before..."(edited)
  22. [5:46 PM] Coffee: There was a soft scritch of pencil on paper, and one of Hyalo's hands moved up to gently rub the base of a feeler. "Me either," she admited. "and that's dreadful!...a-about the...the pumpkin-kicking I mean, not the humans. It's not dreadful ...that I havent seen one. I don't...dont want to see one. I think.Do you?"
  23. [5:50 PM] David ℛainbowie: "I don't know anything about them, so I couldn't say... maybe they are nice... maybe they aren't..." She began sinking into the pumpkin, "Now that I say it out loud... I'd rather not take the chance."
  24. April 16, 2016
  25. [2:45 AM] Coffee: "Ah...!" Hyalo exclaimed, looking up. "Please... please dont hide away.... It... You'll... be kind of ...hard to draw... if you do that. But I guess.... if you want to, I understand." She didn't want to force Debbie to pose for her, if she didn't want to. "What.... What's your name? Mine's Hyalo."
  26. [12:53 PM] David ℛainbowie: The ghost slowly rises back out of the pumpkin, "Sorry... my name is Debbie. Nice to meet you Hyalo."
  27. [2:26 PM] Coffee: "Its nice to... to meet you too..." Hyalo looked up and then back at her sketchpad. "Usually... Usually I am very... shy about meeting new people. But somehow... I feel like... you're not so scary. Even though you are a ghost."
  28. [2:57 PM] David ℛainbowie: Debbie looked down, "I'm not good with other either... was it my face, or the pumpkins face? If I'm not thinking about it, he usually makes a dumb face..." She watched the pumpkin, it just having a silly smile on it's face.
  29. [3:03 PM] Coffee: "I think... it was watching you spin... spin around in the c-computer chair. I love doing that too... and I thought 'Here's someone...like me!' I hope... you don't think that's weird...." the moth replied, apologetically.
  30. [3:39 PM] David ℛainbowie: "No, I get it... it's hard to find other monsters like you. That's a lot of what I think about." She says quietly.
  31. April 17, 2016
  32. [3:46 AM] Coffee: With a final few flourishes, Hyalo finished sketching and turned it around for Debbie to see. There was the sweater, the design clean and neat, and she had paired it with a shortish poofy skirt that gave more of a feeling of a pumpkin than the actual look "What do you think? Is... is it too weird to... to pair a long sleeve sweater with...a short skirt?"
  33. [1:12 PM] David ℛainbowie: "It looks lovely. Can I see it closer?" She wanted to hold the note book and get a closer look.
  34. [1:22 PM] Coffee: Hyalo looked very pleased, and she spoke with more confidence. "Oh, sure, here!" she said, offering the sketchbook eagerly for Debbie to take.
  35. [1:25 PM] David ℛainbowie: Debbie went to grab it, trying to grip it, but it was hard for her, being a ghost. "Just... give me a second." Her sleeve passing through it a couple times before acutally getting a hold of it and looking it over. "Is that what my body looks like? I haven't lookied in a mirror in a long while."
  36. [1:39 PM] Coffee: The moth was suprised at first. The incorporeal part of being a ghost was something she had never considered the difficulty of. But eventually, Debbie got hold of it and looked it over. "Well, the sweater's pretty accurate, but I didn't want to steal your style too much, so the skirt doesn't look exactly like a pumpkin." she admitted.
  37. [1:44 PM] David ℛainbowie: "It's fine... I didn't invent sweaters... or pumpkins... I don't even know why I have a sweater... it just sorta... happened." She offered it back to her. "Do you make clothes?"
  38. [1:52 PM] Coffee: "I do!..." Hyalo responded, eagerly. "Though... its mostly for spiders. Lots of little booties, and hats and mini-scarves.... Spiders are so cute!"
  39. [8:10 PM] David ℛainbowie: "Spiders wear clothes?" The wisp on her head contorting in thought, the image of little spiders in rain coats coming to mind for some reason, "How do you make them so small?"
  40. April 18, 2016
  41. [1:24 AM] Coffee: "Very very carefully!" Hyalo replied, with a giggle. "Actually, I learned to sew, making clothes that small, so it feels quite natural. Sometimes, when making clothes for myself, I feel like there's so much fabric, I'm using way too much."
  42. [1:32 AM] David ℛainbowie: "You make your own clothes too? Is that your job? I don't have a job... but I've got..." She reaches an arm into the pumpkin and rummages around, pulling out a couple caramels and a candy corn... and maybe a butterscotch.., "Candy."
  43. [1:36 AM] Coffee: "I wish it was my job." Hyalo said, wistfully, "But I'm... not very good at it. I mean, I can make clothes, but.. but I have trouble... um.. selling them. S-So instead I help my friend Muffet run her spider sales! She sells wonderful treats. How do you get candy without a job? Do you... make it?"
  44. [1:44 AM] David ℛainbowie: "It was in here when I found it... I can't eat it so if you want it you can have it." A few pieces fall through her hand. "Oh... oops... Uhhh... Hmmm..."
  45. April 19, 2016
  46. [5:27 AM] Coffee: "It was in the Pumpkin?" Hyalo asked, curiously? "So, you weren't, um... born with it?"
  47. [8:47 AM] David ℛainbowie: Debbie thought about how weird she must have sounded, and she didn't really like how that made her feel, especailly talking to this stranger. "No... It was in here when I moved into the pumpkin... that sounds really wierd..."
  48. [9:25 AM] Coffee: "Oooh," said Hyalo. "It's such a cute pumpkin, I didn't think it was... Well, it looks so fresh! " She didn't look like she thought Debbie was strange. "How long have you had it? Is it comfortable? Do you think Spiders might like to live in some pumpkins, if I carved them neatly, or do you think they might get too sticky?"
  49. [9:50 AM] David ℛainbowie: Debbie wasn't really sure. "It just... does? It's been about the same for a couple months... I hink. Spiders might like to live in them, but I don't know how long they keep... I'm stuck in it, so... I think my pumpkin is an exception."
  50. [2:11 PM] Coffee: The next question coming was obvious. "Why are you stuck in it? I thought ghosts were incorporeal?"
  51. [8:18 PM] David ℛainbowie: "I don't wanna say... it's really embarrassing... you wouldn't want to say how you got stuck somewhere, would you?" She shuttered.
  52. April 20, 2016
  53. [11:05 AM] Coffee: "I guess not," Hyalo admitted. "Especially not if everyone kept asking me about it. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." The moth girl's feelers twitched as she tried to think of a way to make it right, somehow. "I'm.. I'm not so great with faces, but would you like me to... to sketch you, instead of just your sweater? Th-then you could see what you look like... kind of?"
  54. [1:14 PM] David ℛainbowie: "I guess that would be nice..." She didn't mean to make the moth girl feel bad, and that in turn made her feel bad. "Sorry... I didn't mean to upset you..."
  55. [1:25 PM] Coffee: "I-it's okay..." Hyalo replied, anxiously. "I'm n-not... not upset... Everything's f-fine..." Oh, no! she'd made Debbie feel even worse by sending her on an unintentional guilt trip! Now they would probably never be friends, and things had been going so well, too... Hyalo was in despair. She quietly picked up her sketchbook again and turned to a clean page, trying to smile and put the ghost at her ease.
  56. April 21, 2016
  57. [4:25 PM] David ℛainbowie: Debbie frowned, "It doesn't sound like everything's fine..." She fiddled with her sleeves. "You're really good at drawing... I can't do that, the pencil falls through my hand to much..."
  58. April 22, 2016
  59. [2:12 AM] Coffee: Hyalo's silvery skin seemed to get a rosy tinge on her cheeks, and she ducked behind her sketchbook. "I...I try, and practice a lot..." she said, sounding pleased, but trying to be humble. "I mean... its easier for me, I guess. B-but it helps to have a pretty model to d-draw, like... like you."
  60. April 23, 2016
  61. [9:18 PM] David ℛainbowie: Debbie wiggled a little, "Would you believe I use to just be a head? It was really weird... but I guess it looks good... thanks~"
  62. April 24, 2016
  63. [1:50 PM] Coffee: "I-I used to be a silkworm..." Hyalo offered, a bit uncertainly. "I mean, it... it probably wasn't a-as dramatic a change as... as you went through... But I c-can understand a little bit what you mean." She sketched on, and then added, timidly, "Did you change... all at once? Or w-was it gradual?"
  64. [2:14 PM] David ℛainbowie: "It was just poof... then I had arms... It's still really weird. What was being a silk worm like?"
  65. April 25, 2016
  66. [12:52 PM] Coffee: Hyalo blushed. "Oh... I felt... I felt really ugly. I had many more arms than I do now, but they were short and stubby and I was hungry all the time... But I had a good friend, someone quite beautiful, really, and she was so kind to me."
  67. [1:29 PM] David ℛainbowie: "Oh... I don't think you were ugly... granted I didn't see what you looked like, but if you weren't a mean monster, then you would be a cute monster"
  68. [2:13 PM] Coffee: The moth laughed, a little nervously as she erased a bit and fixed something. "You... you're really nice. B-but I'm pretty sure I was ugly. Silkworms kind of are. Kind of like, um... pale white slimy tubes with a dozen or so knobby hands. I think being j-just a floating head would be... be much cuter."
  69. [3:16 PM] David ℛainbowie: "Oh you~" She waved her hand in the air, giggling. "I don't know about that, but if you think so, then I guess so."
  70. April 27, 2016
  71. [5:44 PM] Coffee: Hyalo smiled at her sketchbook and gently brushed the last few traces of eraser crumbs from her sketchbook before handing it to Debbie to inspect. "It's d-done... What do you think?" she asked, both hopefully and curious.
  72. April 29, 2016
  73. [4:02 AM] David ℛainbowie: "I look weird..." she smiled, and giggled. "It looks wonderful~" her face glowed a friendly pink, "If I look as good as this, then I shouldn't be so afraid of people..."
  74. May 1, 2016
  75. [7:25 AM] Coffee: "You really do, and you really shouldn't!" Hyalo replied, enthused by the pleasure Debbie seemed to take in her picture. "You're so very cute, I think most monsters would admire you. Especially when you smile!"
  76. May 3, 2016
  77. [2:53 PM] David ℛainbowie: The ghost wiggled in glee, her body jiggling since it wasn't completely solid. "You've got such a way with words, Hyalo~ So talented!" She wiggled the chair forward, closer to the bug girl. "You wanna be friends?"
  78. May 4, 2016
  79. [3:00 AM] Coffee: She had a way with words? Oh, but... she stammered so much! And really, she only told the truth when she said Debbie was cute. Still, the ghost seemed to have warmed to her, and that gave the moth a little more confidence. "Can we? I would love to be friends with you!" Hyalo exclaimed, then clapped both pairs of hands over her mouth as her voice brought on a dissapproving look from the librarbraian and a few "Shhh!"s from other patrons. Hyalo dropped her voice into an eager whisper. "Would you really like to be friends with me?"
  80. May 20, 2016
  81. [12:26 PM] Friskles the Cute: @DimitriB1 It was just another day of work in Snowdin. For some reason there was a cold wind that blew from some unseen hole in the mountain, and made the already cold weather just that more chilly. The thick layer of bet black and smoke gray fur which was enough to keep him plenty warm most days wasn't enough. It was days like this he wanted to break his no clothes rule for that extra layer of warmth. But clothes where so..Human. Why be anymore like the awful creatures that banished us down here to this hell then we had to be? Hmph. Just thinking about it pissed him off. Deep breath. There was a certain ebb and flow to his work and he had to keep up the pace and not let the ice blocks stack up at the ground.
  82.
  83. His job as humble as it was, it was also important. For all the technology there was to keep the cities up and running, it all needed a very low tech solution to the problem of it over heating. Or maybe it was a a job that he and his brothers could do so it was left that way. He should be grateful if that was the case. Because he and all his twin brothers agreed to the Non aggression pact, none of them would intact force, and if it where not for this job , they would have to join the guard. What a disaster that would be. It was a lonely life for them since they didn't join the guard as many would expect of massive looking monsters like them. Everyone around them wants to fight..Wants to get revenge for what happened to monster kind all though years ago, but he seen first hand what happens when you act with revenge in your heart. <c>
  84. [12:26 PM] Friskles the Cute: Sigh. They just don't understand how getting revenge will end up. If only they would come up and talk to him. Heck it would make this job a little more bearable too. It was so lonely and boring just standing in one spot and hurling ice into the river. Small gave like testing himself how far he can throw them or how many he could pile up and throw into the river at once gave him slight relief from the sheer grind of the job but it was but a small reprieve. It hadn't been long since they moved here to Snowdin but a small town like this rumors flew as fast and loose as the snow and they brothers where pariahs to them all but the night.
  85. Well, not all of them. There where a few monsters that exchanged pleasantries with them but it was mostly the monsters that where not all that excited about the ever increasing military state of the underground. Monsters that where more like him. They just wanted to live day by day the best to their abilities. Not so like him that they didn't want any sort of conflict, just not utterly excited just by the mere mentioning of the topic. His views where typically met with a cold shoulder at the restaurant and eventually he just stopped going when he knew the regulars where there. <e>
  86. [12:29 PM] DimitriB1: Just another day in Snowdin, and a cold one too. Lennon had decided to take the ferry to the town more or less on a whim; it was a day off of work and he had felt the urge to go somewhere he was unfamiliar with and get to know it better. And hey, he'd only been to Snowdin a couple times, and that was a good while ago. It would be a nice change from normal life, and it at least meant an interesting story to put on his blog. One thing he'd forgotten was how much colder it could get in this part of the Underground, something he quickly remembered as the wind blew right through the loose pink sweater he'd chosen for the visit. Len felt tempted to turn around and go back, but he wasn't one to turn down an exploration trip because of some bad weather and simply braced himself for the snow as he stepped off the boat.
  87. It actually wasn't as bad as he expected. Huh. Puling out his phone and taking a few pictures of the vaguely familiar town as he walked forwards, a thought occurred to him. Where do those ice blocks that float down the river and to the Core come from? That could be something interesting to learn more about. Following the river down to the left, Lennon came to the area where Hans was doing his job of throwing ice to the river. As soon as he was within earshot, the Lion called out a greeting.
  88. "Hello! Is this where all the ice that cools the Core comes from?"
  89. [12:31 PM] Friskles the Cute: His job didn't really afford breaks. It was 12 hours of non stop work. Pick up the ice block, turn two steps, and toss it in the river, turn around again and repeat. Boring, hard work. His fur was matted from beads of sweat that soaked through the skins and was absorbed by the fur. It was 8 hours in to his shift and he felt his muscles aching from the physical exhaustion from it all. As more monsters populated the underground there needed to be more power. With more power to the cities the more heat the generator made. This necessitated The ice blocks to become larger and larger over the year that he worked here. Ear twitch. Was some one talking to him?
  90. [12:31 PM] Friskles the Cute: Pulling another ice block on hiss shoulders and turned to look. At first he didn't see anyone at the fence line. Figures. His mind was playing tricks on him. Or it was the wind. Either way, no one want to talk to him. Sigh. Turning back to the river he took the two step and hurled the block into the river. As he was turning back he saw a figure approaching! Oh, there was someone there. The next sentence was a light, wispy voice that hardly carried with the howling draft from the whatever damned hole it was coming from. No wonder. They had such a soft, soothing voice though. That could be because it was the first monster to talk him up while he was working. A thought occurred to him to ask his brothers if they had the same problem. Maybe it was him that was messing it all up. Ugh.
  91. Shaking his heads clear of these thoughts he picked up the next block seeing that it got to close to the edge and the next one already getting in the zone where he would need to pick it up. Quickly tossing the first with just a motion and the second with the same he bought enough time to spark up a conversion. Easy now. It's just a friendly chat. No need to be nervous. “Yeah. That's right. I keep the water extra cold so it's still cool enough when it gets to the core that it keeps the temperature down.” Resuming , the next ice block was quickly tossed. “If we put in the ice anywhere else the room temperature will melt it and the water will be to warm, and the heat from the core will just turn the water to steam.” He didn't really know if that was true but it was something to sound impressive. <e>
  92. [5:35 PM] DimitriB1: "Huh, that's pretty cool. It must be a pretty important job." Lennon walked forwards and leaned on the fence line around the enclosure, watching the ice blocks float down the river and into the distance. It was an interesting thought that the machine that kept the whole Underground running was kept running itself with such a simple solution. The Lion looked over at the wolf in charge of the ever important ice-throwing, noticing how hard he seemed to be working at this. It seemed hard to believe that this was there was to it.
  93. "So is more or less what you do then, picking up blocks of ice and throwing them into the river? Where's the ice itself come from? Is there some machine that makes it, or do people have to cut it and deliver it here?"
  94. May 21, 2016
  95. [12:11 PM] Friskles the Cute: felt a little blood rush to his cheek which didn't matter since the fur on his face covered it . Didn't matter. He knew he was blushing. Looking away for a moment he kept an eye on the ice as he collected himself. It's just a conversation he told himself. I can do this! The truth was that his stomach was more butterfly-ie then he would like to admit. The moment he took is what he needed and he was ready to go! A smirk came back to his face and he was starting to feel himself enough to where he would put on a show for his new friend. Flexing a bit he stood facing the Lion with arms outstretched in each direction he waited for the next iceblock to fall off the line into his arm. From there he tilted his left arm up high letting the block slide to the right side where he caught it and with one hand tossed it into the river.
  96.
  97. “...That is a good question...” He wasn't confident enough about the system to spin a beautiful tale about the inner working of the system like he did before. “Yeah. It's a boring job but someone got to do it. The core needs to keep a cool temperature in order to send power to rest of the underground. Luckily it's a burden I share with 6 brothers, so I work one 12 hour a shift a day. And Uh, well...the day after I don't really do much because i'm so exhausted from work so that's another lost day I guess. No, no no! Stop feeling sorry for your self, ya idiot! No one is going to want to strike up conversations with you if you just throw a pity party dumbass! “Well it's pretty cool since there are no other monsters in the underground that can do this job. We are uniquely gifted. So..Uh..you visiting from the city? Snowdin isn't exactly the greatest vacation spot...”
  98. [12:11 PM] Friskles the Cute: Great. Call them dumb form coming here. That's just great...THUD! He jumped a little. All the time spent talking he hadn't paid any attention to the blocks and they piled up in an uneven form till the toppled over on top of them. Luckily he was swift enough and planting his pawns to the ground braced himself and caught a few of them on his back instead of getting piled on. Tossing them into the river over head the giant wolf gone quiet for a moment. “..Sorry. You wont believe me but not a lot of people talk to me while I work..so I never had to juggle ice blocks and a conversation...Shit. Make it seem like you are blaming them. Great work..
  99. May 22, 2016
  100. [2:19 PM] DimitriB1: Lennon watched the wolf perform his job, admittedly a bit impressed at the strength being showed. But he supposed that strength was both required and built in this sort of job. Still, sliding ice blocks around like that was definitely a neat trick. It was a little disappointing that they didn't know the answer about the ice though.
  101. "One straight shift, one day a week, huh? Still sounds pretty tough to keep up, especially if you lose a whole day afterwards." The lion smiled a bit at the question posed.
  102. "Yeah, I felt like exploring today and Snowdin seemed like a good pla--" Lennon was cut off by the thud of ice, jumping a bit himself. Recovering fairly quickly, he watched as Hans tossed the piled-up ice into the river, slightly embarrassed at accidentally having caused that.
  103. "I'm sorry, if it's a problem I can leave..."
  104. May 23, 2016
  105. [8:14 AM] Friskles the Cute: Quietly he just continued doing his job. He had thought he wanted people to stop by all the time to talk. He thought it would pass time. Turns out that he wasn't as good and handling two things at once than he thought. Because his back was turned for the long pause he thought that he had simply blew his chance at a new friend. Silence. His ear twitched. Yeah, there was nothing coming from behind. The lion probably left to Grillby's or maybe the library to better spend their free time on vacation. It came to a bigger surprise to him as he refocused himself on tossing the ice blocks down the river one again when the sweet, wispy voice called out to him one again. Honestly because he wasn't expecting it the sudden slice into the silence made him jump a little as his ears folded as if being scolded. The ice block in his hand nearly slipped though facing away it would have been hard to notice any change as subtle as the slight scratches the grip of his claws where making in it became higher as the ice block lowered slightly in his paws
  106. [8:14 AM] Friskles the Cute: Ok. Keep it together. It' not over yet. “N-No! I'm really enjoying it.” the deepness of his voice carried though the slight and harsh cold winds of snowdin. “It's just that i'm not as good as I thought I would be at carrying a conversation and working. But, I'd rather have it than not have it. It makes time fly by a little faster.” That quick and dirty explanation hinged on the hopes that the Lion would stay. Success! “Uh..Yeah. After a shift I pretty much sleep for a whole 24 hours and even after that I'm sore for a day or two after...” Embarrassment. Why thought? It was a odd thing to get embarrass about and to a perfect stranger. Turn. Left. Turn. Heave. Turn. “At the very least now I'm at the tail end of my shift. Looking forward to getting something to eat and turning in.” The wolf just said it as if there was an offer somewhere out there just floating in the void for the lion to snatch up if they so desired. Sometimes he whished he could been born just a little earlier to not be the youngest of the bothers and maybe not so awkward.
  107. May 25, 2016
  108. [1:36 AM] DimitriB1: Lennon smiled a bit as his embarrassment died down, quietly glad to be wanted and useful. The lion could appreciate the feeling of wanting some distraction on a long shift, so he was plenty happy to be someone that the ice wolf could have a conversation with. Gently leaning on the fence, he listened to the wolf talk about his shift, though something about the way he said the last bit caught Len's ear. He almost wondered if he had imagined it, but...
  109. Hey, no shame in trying. The lion stood up a bit straighter, putting on his most confident smile. It wasn't like it was the most out-of-place thing he'd ever done.
  110. "Well you know, I could always use a guide to help me find my way around. Maybe when you're done, you can show me where you like to eat and we could continue the conversation there for a bit? If you don't mind, that is." The lion managed to speak with just enough confidence to sound entirely causal, but not quite enough to be overbearing. Truly, his years of defending cross-dressing were paying off in this small way.
  111. [2:26 PM] Friskles the Cute: “That sounds like a great time. I only have less than an hour left in my shift and I always eat after work.” Secretly, he hopped that his brother would come early to relieve him so he would be free of his duty and take off now. Still, he dutifully did his work. Turn, pick up ice, turn, throw, turn. “Oh, to that end of town there is an inn if you are going to be staying overnight.” He couldn't know if the Lion was or not but it was better to be helpful he thought. Taking two ice blocks on his shoulders he walked back over to the fence holding each on suspended on his bulging muscles.”Each of these blocks weight over a thousand pounds.” he explained. “Each monster is suited to do something in the underground. I wont ever do science stuff or make fabulous dinners but at least I can do this.” Hurl. Both blocks on one arm tossed with relative ease and splashed in the water.
  112. June 3, 2016
  113. [1:25 AM] DimitriB1: Lennon grinned a bit as the proposition was accepted, glad that he hadn't been called out. He'd have felt pretty stupid if he'd missed a cue and the simple idea was taken the wrong way. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind." The truth was that he hadn't planned on it, but his schedule would be accepting enough if it came to that. He could always take the ferry in the morning, after all.
  114. Lennon's eyes widened slightly as the wolf carried over a couple blocks and explained just how heavy they were, before easily tossing them both into the water. He glanced off to the side for a moment and out on a sarcastic smile, the talk about each monster having a role in the Underground that suits them combined with the simple size of this particular role making him feel oddly self-conscious. "Yeah, I suppose you're right. I suppose some monsters just have bigger places than others, huh?"
  115. June 17, 2016
  116. [3:07 AM] Friskles the Cute: Seeing a large figure off in the distance his ears perked up. The timing was to perfect and the figure was to large that it couldn't of been anyone other than his brother coming to replace him. Hans gave a nod off to the distance and started to stack a few blocks so they just wouldn't fall off as customary when switching over. Set free, Hans jumped over the little fence there and placed a hand on his new companion's shoulder having seemly completely changed in personality and body language. "Come on." he motioned for him to follow "I'll buy us burgers." He patted his stomach and was practically drooling at the mouth at the thought. "I think i'll splurge and have 8 today." Not even kidding.
  117. June 28, 2016
  118. [12:56 AM] DimitriB1: Still feeling a little self-conscious, Lenn noticed the figure in the distance just a bit later, looking at the approaching wolf just late enough to be pleasantly startled by the hand placed on his shoulder. Recovering fairly quickly, he shook his own slight embarrassment off with a slight laugh. "You weren't kidding about this job taking a lot out of you, huh?" Alright, this was something he could handle. Just going to eat with a wolf he'd just met, as some sort of reward for bothering to start a conversation. The lion chuckled internally at the thought, following along with the ice wolf.
  119. Then, somewhere in the back of his mind, some small part of him that read too many Undernet blogs began asking a question that prompted him to stop walking, a slight blush showing through his fur. "When does this become a ship?"
  120. Damn you, Undernet.
  121. June 29, 2016
  122. [6:11 AM] Friskles the Cute: With his brother here he took a moment, the first break that he could take from the beginning of his shift. Mistake. Once his body slowed down the fatigue quickly caught with him and Hans could feel the aches and tiredness setting in as he became idle and instantly regretted his decision. Normally when a shift was done he would go straight home and sleep for 24 hours but he had already made a commitment so he just had to grin and bear it.
  123. [6:16 AM] Friskles the Cute: Rising, he made his feet move one after another, yawning wildly. Making a sweeping hand gesture his arms for the Lion to go first he gently put a hand on the shoulder and led them as they walked the short path from the ice belt to grillby's as he walked a few steps behind to try and cover the fact that he was yawning every 2 seconds and could hardly keep his eyes open
  124. July 7, 2016
  125. [6:27 PM] DimitriB1: Lennon got himself back under control quickly after they started moving, him following the signal to go first. It looked like he hadn't noticed, though... The lion's ears twitched slightly as the reason why soon became apparent, the ice wolf's attempts to hide his tiredness were only semi-successful. Turning a half step to face the wolf again, Len frowned slightly as he saw just how tired they clearly were. This clearly wasn't something the ice wolf was ready to do after a day's work like that.
  126. "Hey, are you sure you're up to this? I really don't mind if you're not." He was facing someone who seemed to hardly be able to stay walking, of course they shouldn't be, but it was better to let them decide that. "If you want to do this later, when you're not right off a shift, I'd be fine with arranging that."
  127. July 11, 2016
  128. [2:56 AM] Friskles the Cute: Holding the door open for Lennon, he made a large sweeping motion for his guest to enter as he tried to keep up the masquerade that he was going to be fine while his body ached for the long day long slumber that comes with a day's work. "Yeah..Yeah" he had said more idly as if he was trying to convince himself more than his guest with his words. "I'll be fine, I just a, really hungry...Uh...Let's sit at at the bar..." A little glance around showed that any seat they wanted at this hour was mostly taken which is why he went to sleep before he came and eat. The two of them walked to the bar where the empty seats where and the big guy placed him self crossing his arms to hide that whenever he felt himself starting to nod off he could give himself a pinch to wake up. "Yo, Grillby!"
  129. [2:57 AM] Friskles the Cute: @Sanskrit (Imput needed!)
  130. [3:01 AM] Sanskrit: __The elemental glanced up from the edge of the bar and raised a hand, splaying his fingers outward, one raised. The sort of signal you give someone when you heard them but need a moment. It wasn't quite that long before Grillby made his way to Hans' end of the bar, glancing between the two patrons. Well and remembering his talk with the wolf weeks back, he couldn't help but smile in spite of himself. "...Can I get for you today?"
  131. [1:43 PM] Friskles the Cute: Making himself self comfortable in these tight space. Lifting his arms over head for a moment the sounds of cracking where largely drowned out by the conversations that where carried on in the room, the dull inane roars that made Hans prefer coming in at the odd hours he did when it was dead silent. Still, he enjoyed the feeling of the joints cracking. All it was is air being released from the joints but that simple thing which prevented them from getting all stiff also felt great. "I'll start with 6 burgers, double patties on them and a tipple order of fries and Uh.." He glanced at the beer menu "3 of your dark ambers" Hans' mood changed when he was ordering the food. One would hardly tell he was so worn down a moment ago that he could of fallen asleep on the spot. With the prospect of a nice hot meal to fill his belly his spirits went through the roof, at least for a moment. His ears flattened embarrassed that he had forgotten in his hunger and haste about his companion. "oh." Hans voice quiet down compared to the happy rumble of his previous order. "And I'll be paying for my friend here too so whatever they want as well."
  132. [4:07 PM] DimitriB1: Lennon entered the bar with a little bit of wonder, taking in the comfortable wooden inside, washed in a slight orange glow by the lamps about the walls and the elemental behind the bar filled with the odd bit of conversation. He'd been to Yvette's before, it was true, but Grillby's had a different sort of feel to it. The comfortable air of a warm place in a cold place, perhaps. Listening to the ice wolf's excuse without much more than an 'Alright.' and following up to the bar seats, His attention was changed from the interior to the monster whose name was Grillby, immediately interested. He'd seen a few flame elementals before, it was true, but Grillby seemed slightly different. A quieter sort. It seemed clear why he was running a place like this, it just... Suited him, somehow.
  133.
  134. Listening to the wolf order, Lennon was immediately suprised by how much more cheerful he seemed, just for a moment. Maybe he would be fine. Len gave his companion a gentle, though slightly nervous smile as if to say 'thanks before turning back to Grillby. "Well, I don't think I can compete with that. I'll just take a simple burger and some fries of my own, if that's alright. Nothing to drink."
  135. July 12, 2016
  136. [2:26 AM] Friskles the Cute: feeling the pause he realized that he had been perhaps a little rude to his guest to have ordered first in such a haste. Shame flattened his ears for a moment and just as quickly he saw a little opening to make light..Hopefully. 'Ahem' A gentle throat clear just to get his words in. "Don't worry about it, it's not a competition! No one in the underground can compete with me anyway!" Great! Did that come off sounding to arrogant? Uh great...In defeat his arms simply fell to his side but forgetting his strength, when they fell o the counter the whole thing shook and there was a sound like lighting crackling across the sky. quickly he raised his arms up. If the 'oh shit that wasn't meant to happen look on his face wasn't enough to tell that was an accidentally, he quickly apologized. "Sorry Grillby, that was my bad...." His bad put a large crack from one end of the magnificent oaken bar counter from coast to coast.
  137. [5:53 AM] Sanskrit: __Grillby had been quietly taking notes of the sizable order on a small black pad he kept for the things not immediately accomplished by memory. As the bar split with a loud crack, disturbing workers and patrons alike, there was a slight pause. Slow shake of his head and the pen continued at the same speed along another line. This was business, and a common occurrance. Monsters of all shapes and sizes dined at the place, damage did happen. Undyne was the worst for it. "I'll go get your order started." No sense in raising a fuss about it, but the repair is going on his tab.
  138. July 14, 2016
  139. [12:50 AM] DimitriB1: Lennon raised an eyebrow for a moment at the ice wolf's comment, a little worried about the way he seemed to be reacting to how the conversation was turning. This was, of course, promptly interrupted by the loud crack of wood breaking. Stunned into silence for a moment, the lion was extremely surprised by Grillby's lack of reaction. Was stuff like that normal?
  140. Catching his wits again after they had so rudely run away, Len turned and gave the wolf another smile, placing one hand on his arm in a comforting gesture. "Hey, it's alright. No need to feel worried, I don't bite." The lion paused for just a moment, something occurring to him. "You know, we still don't have each other's names. Mine's Lennon."
  141. July 20, 2016
  142. [2:43 PM] Friskles the Cute: Hans felt really bad. It had only been a few minutes but he already gave the impression of a being a big oaf. Though the thick smokey black fur covered covered his cheeks like it did the rest of his body, he could feel the blood rushing to his cheeks which made him feel more defensive. Crossing his arms above the counter he looked away for a moment pretending to examine a picture on the right side of the wall. With his arms locked like this at least he wouldn't cause any more damage. This was a safe way to kill time at least but it was a sure fire way for them to never speak again after this encounter. Luckily for him they broke the salience that would of lasted beyond the meal. "H-Heh. I'm Hans." the touch of the other's hand on his arms made him blush even harder and if it wasn't for his ears flattening there wouldn't be any sign of his embarrassment. "I'm glad you came with me. Really. I mean it." Hans was terrible about expressing himself coming from being the youngest of 6 brothers where disputes where settled with wrestling and not words.
  143. July 21, 2016
  144. [3:33 PM] DimitriB1: "Hans. That's a nice name, it suits you." Lennon smiled, glad he'd been able to help diffuse the silence. And it was a nice name too, a stronger one that suited a stronger wolf. Even if said wolf did seem to be a bit uncomfortable in this situation. It was understandable though, Len would be lying if he said he wasn't fighting down some discomfort of his own. But it didn't feel too hard to get over it if it meant keeping things from getting too tense.
  145. Listening to the next comment, the lion smiled. "It's no problem. Like I said, I appreciate the help finding a good place to eat in an unfamiliar town." Letting his hand linger for a moment before drawing it back and crossing his own arms as well, he chuckled a little. "I'm really the one who needs to thank you. Thanks for all this."
  146. July 24, 2016
  147. [3:20 AM] Friskles the Cute: "heh." that was the best he could come up with to the compliment, if you would consider being told a name suits you a compliment or an ice breaker or...? Dang! this being social is hard! Ok! Calm down, you can do this. Its not even a date or anything....Wait? Is this a date??? His earns flatten and he nervously glanced around the room. It was just the two of them and Grillby. The lighting was sort dim and romantic. OH NO! this was a date!
  148. Panic started to set in as his ears flattened. Shit! Well..maybe Lenn hasn't realized it yet.Easy. they would eat, he would pay and maybe Lenn will never know. "Heh heh heh...I'm starving..Is the Food almost done Grillby?" A nervous tick shined through and his long powerful fingers drummed on the countertop
  149. July 25, 2016
  150. [4:59 PM] Sanskrit: "Sorry." Came the elemental's soft reply as he slipped back into the bar area with a tray balanced on his arms. Setting it atop the counterspace, he laid out three plates in front of Hans to Lennon's one. The drinks and food all came at once. The elemental had planned it just so, wanting the pair to have some time alone, so Hans couldn't use his regular dining experience as an excuse to be shy behind his food. "Took a bit longer then usual." A polite nod to Lennon and he took the tray back to the kitchen, then situated himself at the far end of the bar to give the two monsters their privacy.
  151. [10:39 PM] DimitriB1: Lennon stayed fairly quiet as Grillby came out and gave them their food, wondering if he was doing something wrong. Hans only seemed to be growing more nervous, something that wasn't helping his own nerves at all. Nodding a quick 'thank you' to the flame elemental, he took another glance at the wolf beside him. For just a moment, he wondered if... Nah. He probably wouldn't have come to the same conclusion about this being a date as someone immersed in Undernet culture. Right?
  152. ...Right?
  153.
  154. Failing to fight back yet another blush that wouldn't show, Lennon looked around the room again. This place... Honestly, it held as much potential for romantic undertones as any fine restaurant in atmosphere and lighting. And, thinking on the bartender's slight smile and how he'd positioned himself further away... The signs seemed clear enough for anyone who'd watched or read enough romance plots. Which he definitely had. Swallowing down a bit of unexpected worry, Len decided to focus on his fries, suddenly looking almost as nervous as Hans.
  155. July 27, 2016
  156. [2:48 AM] Friskles the Cute: This was not going well. 'date' or not, at this rate the first monster to really talk to him outside of Grillby wont ever want to see him again. Ok. Time to regroup, but first a burger! It was small when he held it in his the two massive meat hooks, though the two meat patties and all the fixings in anyone else's hand and you would wonder how you would fit something so big into your mouth. As Hans hate here all the time, he quickly dug in knowing exactly what to expect between the buns. 'At the very least' he thought. 'it was just the two of them and Grillby who knows about this encounter. As far as he knew the secret was safe in the room. What he didn't know was some little kid saw the normally alone Hans sitting next to someone, and was spreading them all over the social network service, Undernet.(edited)
  157. [4:22 AM] Friskles the Cute: Heck, Hans didn't even know what an undernet was. "So how is it? I really like this place so don't be afraid of the burger." As he said it he pointed to the food. The burger sat undisturbed at the other end, and other than the two fries his guest Lenn was slowly nibbling on, the fries where also barely untouched. It was going to be a very long night if he was the only who ate. "Come on try it! You said you wanted a taste of the local Cuisine. It doesn't get any more local than the burgers from here!" He was about to give a friendly pat on the back but refrained for a moment remembering the situation. If he was just palling around with his brothers the pat would of been enough to knock just about any monster off their feet. Remembering who he was with, he puled int back in, and made it a soft pat on the back
  158. July 28, 2016
  159. [2:42 PM] DimitriB1: Staying silent, Len continued to focus on the food he wasn't really eating as Hans focused on the food they were, simply thinking about the situation he was in. Would anyone notice them? Surely he was safe enough from the 'danger' of being noticed and talked about, right? But of course, this was the sort of thing that could spread around pretty quickly, especially if eating with people wasn't something that the large wolf would do often. Though it wasn't really his place to speculate about stuff like that, he supposed...
  160. Looking up as he heard Hans talkng to him again but only managed to hear half the words, the lion slowly realized how what he was doing must have looked. Did the wolf think he was being rude, or..? Not that he had much time to worry about that, as the softer-harder pat on the back given by Hans was soon enough to jolt him fully back to reality. Giving a slightly meek "Sorry..", Lennon decided to follow the advice that had been given and try the burger. And... It was really good, actually. Just as good as anything served at Yvette's over in Hotland. The simple action of starting to eat a quality burger was enough to remind him just how hungry he'd started to be between the time of day and the ferry ride to Snowdin, and without any comments more substantial than general sounds of enjoyment, the lion started on taking down the burger almost as quickly as possible for him.
  161.
  162. How fortunate it was that Lennon had left his phone home before coming, since it would start buzzing with a number of notifications from aquaintances on Undernet soon enough.
  163. July 30, 2016
  164. [2:32 AM] Friskles the Cute: Little did the two of them know, one of the little kids that ran around the underground been up to whatever mischief a little tike gotten into these days and had peeked their head in hearing something going on from the bar and grill, presumably the sound of a thick slab of otherwise perfectly fine slab of oak being slammed and getting a run though the middle of it with a great cracking noise. This little trouble maker, moved by their curiosity peeked in and saw the normally alone guy known to them as Ice Wolf since none had really tried tot talk to him as of yet, and thus didn't know his name. In a few minutes, the post in undernet went viral, and the undernet was a buzz on who it was that Ice wolf was dating. Back inside Hans was starting to find his sort of groove and feel more comfortable around his new friend.
  165. [2:32 AM] Friskles the Cute: “No, no! It's not like that.” The pearly whites came out in a friendly manner and the massive hand gently gripped Len's shoulder with all the firmness that one could expect for him having the job that he did. His body still ached terribly and yearned for the long sleep after his long sleep, however with his new ease and comfort with his guest and that it was the first conversation he really had with someone that he wasn't related to him or..Mostly mute(?) He waited for Lenn to take a bite and come back with a verdict before digging back into his, which he had almost finished dispute having ordered something like 6 times as much food as the other. Where the Lion was very prim and popper taking reasonable bites of the food, Hans greedy stuffed it down his throat as fast as he reasonable could with out choking.
  166. [2:32 AM] Friskles the Cute: Having waited with baited breath for the verdict, the reaction was worth the wait. Watching the cute little face change from skeptical as Lenn chewed on the first bite to something like a an excited squeak to a bright smile before rendering the verdict of on the meal. Giving a thumbs up to this he sat back a little relaxing more and pounded back a few of the beers that he ordered. “Hey, would you like one? I think it makes the burger taste even better since the hoppy, wheaty taste washes it down very well.” popping the cap on one of his untouched ones with a finger he slide it down the bar using the impressive wingspan of his massive arms to get a little distance for it travel, and smoothly at that with only one tense moment where it went over the crack he put in the table top that caused it to wobble quite a bit, and this did cause a little to foam up and spill over from the bottleneck a little bit. “opps..Heh heh.”
  167. August 4, 2016
  168. [1:50 AM] DimitriB1: This was actually really nice, Len had to admit, already halfway finished with the burger. With Hans regaining confidence in himself, and his own confidence being somewhat bolstered by it, it was just a nice time with good food and a new friend. And he was starting to see where the idea of Snowdin as a quiet, friendly town came from. Stopping in his admittedly somewhat hurried eating as he heard a comment, the lion put the food down and glanced at the drink that had been slid to him. He wasn't someone who liked to drink alcohol much, if at all, but it felt a bit like he had to at least try it now. Putting on a brave face, Lennon buckled down to make his attempt with a quiet but confident "Alright..." before grabbing the bottle, hardly minding that a little had foamed out, and taking a nice swig of the amber liquid.
  169. ...Ack.
  170. Fighting down the urge to start coughing immediately, Len gulped down the beer in time to avoid accidentally spitting the drink out all over the counter. It was definitely an acquired taste he sadly hadn't required, something he was quick to realize as he silently worked to regain control of himself while sliding the beer back over. "No.. No thanks. I think I'll stick to stuff like ketchup for now."
  171. August 5, 2016
  172. [1:43 PM] Friskles the Cute: See Hans? Its real easy. Just be your self, play it cool and don't try to act like you are tying to be impressive. His own breath steadied a bit as the laughter and the booze he put down one right after the other had made him all but forget the fatigue he felt all over. The cute little face that Lenn was making right now couldn't help but to make him chuckle a bellowing laugh from his deep bellowing voice and he figured that with a look like that, drinking wasn't going to end well for lion. In solidarity he picked up another one of the bottles and popped it open sticking the capped end against his forehead and letting the twisting on the bottle against his forehead do all the work. It looked cool, but the end result was predictable. When the cap came off a bit of the foam quickly bubbled up and sprayed him in the face. Not phased by this, he clinked the two bottles together giving a hardy “cheers!” before downing the entire content of the bottle from foam top to the very last drip of beer on the bottom. While he easily fished his, the lion was having trouble and looked like Lenn would going to hack it all back up for a moment there which had him more than a little worried being in the direct line of fire had it happened.
  173. [1:43 PM] Friskles the Cute: Heh. It didn't happen. It would have been a funny story to tell later buut on the other hand it saved him a instant shower so..I guess it was a wash? Oh well. “I guess you are more of the kinda of cat that enjoys wine! Eh, heh.” He gave Lenn a supportive pat on back and gripped his shoulder for a moment. “Hey, don't worry about it. Ketchup is fine too. And Look.” he reached over and took the slightly drank beer and slammed it down, gulping it so it was as gone as the one that he had chugged along with the lion. “it' got drank so the way I see it no harm no foul!” He had hoped Lenn took that not as an insult but how he intended, a sort of good will gestured though he couldn't blame him if he didn't take that way. His earns lowered and his voice. “What I mean was..” Before he could finish his sentence though he shook his head as if shaking his head of whatever it was from his mind and just trusted that the other would know what it was he was trying to get across. Being relaxed and chill is what the Lion seemed to be enjoying anyway.
  174. [1:43 PM] Friskles the Cute: “So..You know about me...Where I work and where I live...But I know nothing about you. I don't like being at that disadvantage.” His smile became more coy and with the grin he put a palm to his cheek and planted the bulky elbow on the bar counter, taking a posture that conveyed that he was interested in what Lenn was going to say. Even though his plate was loaded with something close to 3 times as much food as his guest, he had scarfed his down like a ravvid animal where Lenn gingerly nibbled on theirs like a delicate flower. Honestly it was really cute. Because of this, he switched gears and sipped the extra beers he had and only nibbled on the rest of what food he had left to match pace so his quest wouldn't feel rushed though deep done while he wanted to do this again, he was ready to go for his 24 hour slumber sooner rather than later.
  175. August 7, 2016
  176. [5:42 PM] DimitriB1: Was he someone who'd prefer wines? Len didn't really feel like mentioning that he didn't usually drink at all, so the only response the lion had was "I... Suppose so." A little smile at the show of support, a little laugh at Hans' way of solving the problem. He placed one hand again on Han's arm and gave a reassuring smile, his way of saying he knew what was meant. This was still quite nice, just this relaxed moment, and the lion couldn't help himself from keeping a grin present through it all and right into the next as he simply continued to grow more comfortable with the scene.
  177. And here was another new moment, with his companion deciding to switch the conversational gears. Lennon felt a little bit of unexplained pride at the wolf seeming so interested in what it was he did, and he sat up a bit straighter as he answered happily. "Well... I live up at the capitol, actually. Just call me another city boy I guess. I've got a job as a clerk up there, nothing as important as what you're doing."
  178. August 10, 2016
  179. [4:33 PM] Friskles the Cute: Hans looked worried for a moment, showing genuine concern for his companion It was a concern that was quickly dropped once he seen them having a delayed reaction to the warming up, and the rigid worried features melted away to the soft caring features that they where before, which made him relax with a deep breath out letting his shoulders slumped. Hans kept his hand there for only a moment longer before returning it to his side and sitting at the edge of his seat so he could lean in once again to listen. “Mnn. The city huh? Ive never been. Infact I dont really travel outside of snowdin with the expectation that where I live is technically outside the snowdin city limits. Suddenly looking a little comfortable Hans popped up from his seat and tugged gently for Lenn to follow him. Boy? That was quite a surprise. I guess anything flies in the capital. Heh. It's not like he is much for customs anyway, after all he walked around with no clothes which was perfect for him. Maybe one day he would venture into the capital and buy hot pants, but even in this cold it was just to warm with all the fur to wear anything.
  180. [4:33 PM] Friskles the Cute: Though Hans seemed a little shook by the revelation he seemed none the less bothered by it. It had been easy to assume the opposite gender. Lenn had a very pretty dress and such an elegant way and moving in it that made it seem like the fabric was more a second nature to them rather than a piece of clothing. Combined with Lenn's soft features and tender caring nature and..Well...Am I smitten? Is this what love at first sight feels like? He wanted to believe it was, but never having been in love before he had no frame of reference. Hopefully his reaction to the newly revealed fact wouldn't ruin whatever budding friendship they could have. Picking up a backpack he carried his stuff around in Hans fished out 2k in monster gold, which was just slips of paper styled after the human world's dollar bill with the Kings happy mug slapped on it with a little text that stated that the slip of paper was good for one equivalent of 1/10th of gold. The stack that he pulled out was worth a thousand, or a whole gold bar, a lot of money to be sure though he had no self satisfaction or smugness as he laid the bills on the table. He was more apologetic as he slid the payment down. “That should cover the food and the counter.” he murmured apologetically.
  181. [4:34 PM] Friskles the Cute: “I think you might like it out here.” He had walked back to the door and opened it for Lenn. “A noisy night here is when you hear fish jumping in the stream.
