  1. Turin was a smith, and a Paladin back in life. Before he left to join the Order of the Silver Hand, he lived in a small and unnamed village north of Tyr's hand, close to the border of Quel'thalas. He left his home, the wife he had and the child she bore, to become a Paladin. While there, he forged a friendship with a junior member named Liotuse, who he considered more of a brother than a good friend.
  2.
  3. When the Plague had hit Lordaeron, Turin served along side his friend Liotuse in Arthas' army until Stratholme. When Arthas ordered it purged, he was one of the few Paladin's that remained to fight along side their Prince, without the help of his friend Liotuse.

  5. Turin had followed his Prince to Northrend, enduring the same hardships those who had chose to follow did. When the emissary showed up, telling the forces they were to return home, his spirits were bolstered. The man fought along side those who still lived, perhaps mere days from being able to see his own wife. When the army managed to cut through the trees after the hard labor, Turin's entire heart sunk at the sight of the burning boats. He, and the entire army killed the mercenaries in cold blood, his faith faltering and the Light leaving him.

  7. And so he went on, fighting once more to hold back the undead invasion while Arthas looked for some legendary sword. When he returned with Frostmourne, the only solace that came from it was that now they could push the offensive – and they did. The army, bolstered by the dwarves that had been found prior, crushed Mal'ganis' base and the Dreadlord as well. Turin had no idea what happened to Arthas after that, but he and the remaining army returned to their base camp and thought.

  9. When Arthas returned, his men lined up in preparation for their Prince. What took them all by surprise was the fact he struck out against them, slowly turning them into ghouls and other undead monstrosities. Turin did his best to fight, shocked by what Arthas was doing until he was felled by several ghouls. What happened after would have caused the man to attempt a suicide – he had become a Death Knight. The Paladins that remained and higher ranking officers were all created into the powerful Scourge soldiers, serving their Prince in the afterlife.
  10.
  11. Along with Arthas and the other Death Knights, Turin participated in the destroying of Capital City and then moving on to destroying Quel'thalas – but not before he stopped at his old village. Those who lived there were shocked by his sudden return, happy to see him. He ignored them, making way to the village's small cemetery and raising those bodies as ghouls and skeletons, starting to slaughter men, women and children (awwww yeah) as they were no different. He found his daughter, now a bit older, and killed her in front of his wife, before running her through and tossing the corpse outside of the house's window.

  13. Turin served with the other Death Knights, returning to Icecrown. When Acherus was constructed, far after Naxxramas and the other necropoli, Turin joined the many Death Knights under Highlord Darion Mograine's command. The man had not done much, aside from being a “task master” for some of the Acherus spawned Death Knights. When the time to attack Light's Hope came, he joined his brothers and sisters on the field and fought through the events of Light's Hope. After being freed from the Lich King's grasp, Turin was unsure of what to do. He felt empty, without purpose, until Darion had forged the bond between the Argent Dawn and the Death Knights, vowing to kill the Lich King – his purpose was clear then, serving under Darion until the Lich King's downfall.

  15. The events after – aside from Arthas' downfall – were minor and only served to forge him into what he is now.
