  1. i'm burning out hard in spyro 1 and have hit a hard slump of being unable to pb. my mentality is just getting worse and worse and constantly finishing resetless runs that die in the dream weavers and gnasty's world doesn't help. because of this i feel it is in my best interest to take a break from the game. as much as i love the game and want to keep pushing until a 1:29 it will ultimately be what's best for me. i'm confident that whenever i return (most likely later in the year) my mind will be clear of this. i also genuinely believe that taking a break from a game is a guaranteed way of improving at it. 1545 is over so i no longer have an obligation to play the game, so what will i do now?

  3. i've mentioned this countless times already but my mind is set on submitting gex 2 any% to agdq. i don't really intend on getting record, but i would like a 49 at the very least. my pb in the game was never that great, so bringing it down to a 52 shouldn't be too hard (hopefully). it will be a bit of a grind past that though, but i am honestly optimistic about returning to this game, and gex in general. however the amount of lag i get on my console has always been fairly demotivating when it comes to these games. for now i'll just have to keep on trucking.

  5. there's something else i want to do on the side. something i've been wanting to do for a while but have been intimidated by the commitment that will be required and the amount of time it'll take to even start doing runs. i do feel that i am now ready to take on this challenge though. i won't reveal what it is until i start actually doing runs of it, i guess out of the worry that i don't want to fully make a promise that i might end up backing out of.
