The sounds of trumpets resound nearby as a crier calls out, "Hear ye!  Hear ye!  The members of the Theren Guard invite everyone to Gealeranendae College in Therenborough for a discussion on recent moon mage visons and their interpretations, beginning shortly!  Come share, brainstorm, or just listen in!"  The din fades into the distance as the crier repeats his announcement.  [OOC:  The discussion will begin at 9:00 PM Eastern. Several desks cluster in the center of the room and a white ash rack hangs on the far wall.  Across from it is a slate board covered with scribblings in chalk.
You also see a folding cane chair with a silk-covered seat, a sturdy black backpack, a painted iron catering cart bearing the crest of the Theren Guard with several things on it, a box of gifts bearing the crest of the Order of the Theren Guard and a worn chestnut door.

[21:02] Angel asks, "Or get a mirror and want a pin?"

[21:02] Rheela says, "The mirrors are nice, but I like the pin."

[21:04] Angel asks, "Shall we get started or wait a few rois?"

[21:04] Aaoskar says, "Either is fine by me."

[21:04] Mazrian says, "Why don't we get started?  If people straggle in they can catch up."

[21:05] Rheela says, "I'll need to be heading off soon.  ODS having a scavenger hunt later this evening."

[21:05] Rheela says, "But I'll stay as long as I can."

[21:05] Angel says, "Alright then.  First, thank you all for coming.  I hope you chose a gift and a refreshment."

[21:07] Angel asks, "Are there any Paladins here that have received strange Visions?"

[21:07] Isharon says, "Not recently that I recall."

[21:07] Angel says, "Rheela has heard of some Paladin's having some Visions.  If no one can share those, she can."

[21:08] Aerathor says, "I have not heard any word from Hodoor I speak with him occasionaly I think he would mention to me if he had."

[21:08] Rheela says, "The paladin vision were a bit ago.  But now with moon mages getting visions, it may be a pattern."

[21:08] Isharon asks, "While using soulstones or otherwise?"

[21:08] Olave says, "I've heard of some getting them while using soulstones. Unusual ones."

[21:08] Angel says, "|rheel You may share and if there is a connection we can make, surely."

[21:08] Rheela says, "I believe from soulstones.  I have spare in Riverhaven and I was giving them to younglings.  They told me of their visions."

[21:09] Isharon says, "Sometimes my thoughts have felt jumbled and chaotic."

[21:09] Rheela says, "There may be more than I know, but."

[21:09] Rheela says, "Disquiet stirs in your soul, but you are unable to put your finger on a cause."

[21:09] Rheela says, "You vaguely hear, more in your mind than your ears, the sounds of a distant melee."

[21:10] Rheela says, "You feel a strange sense of forgetfulness which quickly passes."

[21:10] Isharon says to Rheela, "I have felt that before as well."

[21:10] Rheela exclaims, "You hear, more in your mind than your ears, a desperate voice calling, "Hold it back!"

[21:10] Rheela says, "You catch a brief glimpse of the mana streams without trying, their golden holiness blotched with darkness."

[21:11] Rheela says, "At first I thought maybe just because they were young, but then I heard from more seasoned paladins also."

[21:11] Klurn asks, "Any visions of the Orc War?"

[21:11] Linkwurst says, "Nod ola."

[21:11] Rheela says, "The 'hold it back' one made me think of Lyras."

[21:11] Isharon says to Rheela, "These sensations I have felt as well, but so far no specific vision, just feelings of unease."

[21:11] Linkwurst says, "Oh lords... it's gonna be a long night."

[21:12] Angel says, "I did hear that Visions came after the recent incident with the Orcs.  Certain Guilds received strange Visions as it was going on."

[21:12] Linkwurst asks, "Why do we have these meeting where we can't view the sky?"

[21:12] Angel says, "The squeaking coming from the shadows is a Shadowling hiding."

[21:12] Isharon says to Rheela, "Your description of the mana, that is how all Paladins perceive mana, golden shot with flecks of darkness."

[21:12] Angel says, "I believe,."

[21:13] Angel says, "Folks searching cannot see them."

[21:13] Rheela says, "Ok.  I'll make note of that.  I see in shades of blue for empath mana."

[21:13] Isharon says, "We Paladins have long debated what the dark flecks portend."

[21:14] Angel says, "A long night indeed."

[21:14] Olave softly says, "Dusty mana."

[21:15] Angel says to Linkwurst, "Good question.  I am unsure why we picked inside. I'll make sure next time we are indeed under the open sky."

[21:15] Klurn asks, "Are traders having visions?"

[21:16] Linkwurst says, "Interesting gift... I've been finding an awful lot of broken mirrors on the orcs Ive been hunting."

[21:16] Rheela says, "Hopefully that is 7 years bad luck for Viggu."

[21:16] Linkwurst asks, "Is this all gonna come down to the Mirror Wraith prophecy?"

[21:17] Angel asks, "What are some of the rumors you have heard?"

[21:17] Angel says, "For instance, tonight I heard about raising Sorrow."

[21:17] Aerathor says, "Lord Sura was devoyred by Maelshyve."

[21:18] Aerathor says, "It would be an interesting revival with no body to raise."

[21:18] Aerathor says, "But I always speculated that he himself had escaped somehow into an alien plane. But that is what I was told."

[21:19] Angel says, "Unless he takes another's body."

[21:19] Klurn says, "Viggu does have that book now that Alret had and ws  trying to rezz Sorrow."

[21:20] Aerathor asks, "Wasn't it Sorrows book?"

[21:20] Aerathor says, "Originally that is."

[21:20] Klurn says, "I can't read well but i hear it was stolen from somewhere in Crossing."

[21:21] Aerathor says, "Interesting I hadn't heard it was stolen."

[21:21] Aerathor says, "Thanks for that info."

[21:22] Klurn says, "Viggu also stole a piece of the Standing Stones for some reason."

[21:22] Angel says, "In addressing the Moonmages in the room, we have had no new visions either correct?  I am still seeing the same marbles."

[21:22] Angel says, "Maybe I am losing mine.."

[21:22] Miskton says, "There have been several new visions recently, actually."

[21:22] Aerathor says, "No there are new ones."

[21:22] Aerathor says, "A few."

[21:23] Angel says, "Ahh ok, then we need to hear about those."

[21:23] Angel asks, "Could you share please?"

[21:23] Miskton says, "I've encountered three I hadn't seen before, in the last few weeks."

[21:23] Miskton says, "I'd be happy to share. Let's see..."

[21:23] Miskton says, "Before me, a great black beast held a human man in its jaws, gnawing upon him with casual leisure. The man's dusky skin was streaked with blood and yet his face remained seren and determined, even as it was clear he was slowly dying from the myriad wounds visible on his battered body. A pool of blood gathered on the ground beneath both man and beast, and with each drop added to it, the vague image of other humans that was reflected in the sanguine mass shifted slightly. I struggled to make out more of the bloody vision, but the liquid was frustratingly murky."

[21:24] Miskton says, "With the recent activity on the part of Maelshyve, she's the first thing that came to mind regarding that huge beast."

[21:25] Miskton asks Angel, "Do you want to discuss each one at a time, or should I share the others before we start talking aobut them?"

[21:26] Angel asks, "Does everyone want to hear them all and then brainstorm or one by one?"

[21:26] Olave says, "I would think trying to take them as a whole will be infuriating, but probably more useful."

[21:26] Isharon says, "I would hear them all and then speak collectively."

[21:26] Miskton says, "The next one, then..."

[21:26] Angel says, "Agreed, infuriating yet usefull."

[21:26] Miskton says, "Ah, this was a particularly unpleasant one."

[21:26] Miskton says, "Pain. Pain assaulted me from my extremities, and as I glanced at my body to determine the source, I saw hideous blotches forming upon my flesh. A cry of horror welled up within me, yet what escaped my lips was but the sound of leaves upon the wind."

[21:27] Rheela says, "Yeah, a man being eaten alive wasn't unpleasant at all."

[21:27] Aerathor says, "That one bothers me the most personally."

[21:27] Aerathor says, "It was the look on the man's face."

[21:27] Linkwurst says, "Yeah, that one makes me wonder if the fleshrot or some other plague is returning."

[21:27] Aerathor says, "It was haunting."

[21:27] Rheela says, "Sounds diseasish."

[21:27] Miskton says, "Well, seeing horrible things is par for the course. Experiencing them is a more uncommon bit of upleasantness."

[21:28] Miskton says, "The last of the new visions I've been seeing was actually not an unpleasant experience, though. Which is somewhat unusual."

[21:28] Miskton says, "Pale pink-tinged blossoms blotted out my vision, leaving my other senses reeling with increased intensity. I heard laughter mingled with distant howls and smelled heavy spices, my body ensconced in a warmth so profound that my sense of self felt expanded to the point of near infinite bounds. Just as I felt as though I might well cease to exist as a single being, my senses snapped back to there here and now, leaving me with only a faint, unidentifiable sweetness upon my tongue as a reminder."

[21:28] Angel says, "Hmmm."

[21:28] Aerathor asks, "What is being a flower?"

[21:29] Linkwurst asks, "Smelly bloomers?"

[21:29] Miskton says, "And those are what I have been seeing lately, along with the ongoing vision of the marbles."

[21:29] Angel says, "|Misk Thank you for sharing those."

[21:30] Angel says, "I am losing my marbles."

[21:30] Rheela says to Angel, "Join the club hun."

[21:30] Angel asks Digmo, "Have you seen others?"

[21:30] Digmo says, "No, just the beast, the pain, and the flowers."

[21:30] Angel asks, "Alright then, what are we thinking?  Insights?"

[21:31] Olave asks, "Can someone review what the vision of the marbles was?"

[21:31] Olave asks, "If it's not too much trouble?"

[21:31] Angel says, "Solid shadows roll before your eyes, becoming twelve glass marbles laid out on a swath of dark blue satin. From the edges of the fabric a purple smolder encroaches inward ever so slowly. With callous patience, you watch it reach one of the marbles and cause it to fall into a black, burnt hole, only then feeling a twist of grief in your heart."

[21:31] Olave says, "Thank you."

[21:31] Digmo says, "I don't think that one is related to anything current.  I've been seeing that one for a really long time."

[21:32] Rheela says, "Hmmm."

[21:32] Klurn asks, "That one could be about Therengia?"

[21:32] Angel says, "Very long."

[21:32] Rheela says, "If it was 13 marbles, I'd think reference to the 13 gods, but."

[21:32] Klurn says, "12 marbles.... 12 houses."

[21:33] Linkwurst asks, "Hmmm.... how many shard of Grazhir are currently located?"

[21:33] Linkwurst asks, "That wouldn't be inreference to the loss of the Lesser Fist, would it?"

[21:33] Digmo says, "Fourteen."

[21:33] Miskton says, "When discussed before, it was noted that the marbles on dark blue satin could represent the other planets, as seen from Elanthia."

[21:34] Miskton says, "The other planets in the night sky, as it were."

[21:34] Linkwurst asks, "Does that incluse the one lost when Tiv was injured?"

[21:34] Digmo says, "If you count Emalerje, which is destroyed or missing, fifteen if you count Teloish."

[21:35] Digmo says, "I tried to travel to Emalerje, but that ended up in death."

[21:35] Linkwurst says, "Okay, thank you. I will abandon my worry about losing another shard."

[21:35] Linkwurst says, "I could not even enter the conduit."

[21:36] Digmo says, "Right Koreberg, I forgot Aliaes."

[21:37] Angel asks, "Do we have thoughts on the 3 recent visions that Miskton recited?"

[21:37] Miskton says, "On the beast vision... as I mentioned, Maelshyve was the first thing that came to mind. The man being gnawed on also seemed to stand out with enough detail to perhaps represent a specific person. But as usual, the fine details tend to slip away when you try to focus on them."

[21:37] Aerathor says, "There was one other."

[21:37] Angel says, "It seems to connect."

[21:37] Digmo says, "That man being eaten, he sorta seems ok with it."

[21:37] Aerathor says, "I can't recall it, but it was about a clear sky with Smoke rising."

[21:37] Digmo says, "I haven't seen that one."

[21:38] Isharon asks, "Are there any pink flowers with properties like those experienced in the vision?"

[21:38] Aerathor says, "It was the first one I saw after the marbles only dilema."

[21:38] Aerathor says, "It was recited at the first meeting regarding the raid on Maelshyve."

[21:38] Miskton says, "I think I heard some mention of that one, but never experienced it myself."

[21:39] Olave says to Aerathor, "Tofil's vision."

[21:39] Aerathor says, "I believe it was Tofil who has it jotted down."

[21:39] Aerathor says, "Yes."

[21:39] Aerathor says, "That is it."

[21:39] Digmo says, "I've done many predictions the past few days, and I have only seen the three new ones and that older one that's been around for so long."

[21:39] Olave says, "It was a clear blue sky with a wisp of black smoke on it."

[21:39] Aerathor says, "We both saw it same day, only he recited it later for the meeting."

[21:40] Miskton says, "It may have been tied to a specific event which has already happened."

[21:40] Olave says, "It was extremely vague."

[21:40] Olave says, "Even for a portent."

[21:40] Angel says, "A cloudless sky spreads itself before your mind's eye, just a touch darker in tone than a robin's egg. Just left of center, a single trail of black smoke rises. Barely a smudge against the perfection of azure, the dark line is quickly blown away, leaving the sky flawless once more. As you blink, the world you know returns."

[21:40] Aerathor says, "Ah that is it."

[21:40] Angel asks Olave, "That one?"

[21:40] Aerathor asks, "Indeed is it old?"

[21:41] Angel says, "I think that one is new."

[21:41] Digmo says, "I've seen that one, but not in a while."

[21:41] Digmo says, "Or maybe it was just one that was similar."

[21:41] Aerathor says, "It was the first day we realized the marble vision was gone."

[21:41] Angel says, "When I look back in my notes, I do not see it before recently."

[21:41] Aerathor says, "I don't recall seeing it before that, but then there are so many."

[21:42] Angel says, "I think we shoul certainly start noting the Visions and the seasons.  I'd like to see if there is a pattern.  And I'd like to see if we all just see the same new ones as well."

[21:43] Angel asks, "Do we feel like we have explored all the Visions and meanings then?"

[21:43] Aerathor says, "Well I would like to say one thing on the visions."

[21:44] Miskton says, "The vision with the pain and skin blotches certainly seems like it portends a plague of some sort."

[21:44] Isharon says to Angel, "I thought of one other Paladin vision that was not mentioned earlier."

[21:44] Angel says, "Absolutely, please do."

[21:44] Isharon says, "I heard, more in my mind than my ears, a snippet of conversation: 'Do you realize the cost?' 'Choke on the cost, do you realize the stakes?'."

[21:44] Isharon says, "I also vaguely heard, more in my mind than my ears, an incomprehensible voice."

[21:45] Aerathor says, "I think the fact is, is that we can't pin point exact meanings always. Its ussually rare we can line up events with what you see...What is important is that we keep looking for the dots to connect. Also I think because there are new visions after so long of a pause, its a good sign some changes are coming."

[21:45] Isharon says, "Granted, these were not terribly recent, but they seem connected to the other soulstone visions."

[21:45] Angel says to Isharon, "Sounds like an attack on those with Holy magic."

[21:45] Aerathor says, "Where there is smoke there is fire."

[21:45] Olave says to Isharon, "I had heard that one from Chrysagon. He was extremely puzzled by it."

[21:46] Linkwurst says, "I did hear voices warning me of danger and promising to help me escape it while in the Astral Plane recently, but I assumed is was related to ol."

[21:46] Angel says, "It definately feels to me like an attack of evil coming.  With Paladins getting those Visions."

[21:46] Linkwurst says, "Ol'  Pelag, that is."

[21:47] Angel says to Linkwurst, "Maybe you were about to go into the Expanse and survived."

[21:47] Miskton says, "That was likely Cashek gand Aldam. More pleasant than Pelag, but rarely heard from."

[21:47] Linkwurst says, "That's kinda what I assumed."

[21:47] Linkwurst says, "Ahhh, thank you. That was confusing to me."

[21:48] Isharon says, "I wonder if the soulstone visions have aught to do with the history of our guild, rather than an portent of things to come."

[21:48] Aerathor says, "I think they are related."

[21:49] Miskton says to Isharon, "I do recall hearing of paladin visions that seemed like they were glimpses of things that had happened in the past."

[21:49] Aerathor says, "Oh."

[21:50] Miskton says, "I'm not sure what to make of the other vision, with the pink blossoms. It wasn't exactly unpleasant, though it was intense. It was also not very concrete, though."

[21:51] Olave asks, "I wonder if the pain of being eaten by disease and the pleasure of being obliterated by pleasure are two sides of the same coin?"

[21:52] Aerathor says to Olave, "Nice point."

[21:52] Aerathor says to Olave, "Everything in moderation I think."

[21:53] Angel says, "I think the idea earlier to keep watching and connecting the dots is important."

[21:53] Angel says, "Now that we have new visions to add to our notes, since the Marbles."

[21:53] Aerathor says, "Eyes open for signs ears open for clues."

[21:53] Angel says, "We can only hope the Visions are for a reason."

[21:53] Linkwurst says, "I have admittedly been neglecting Event Predictions. I will stop that immediately."

[21:54] Linkwurst says, "Incidentally, while there are a collection of moon mage..."

[21:54] Aerathor says, "A dangerous collective indeed."

[21:54] Linkwurst asks, "Does anyone know of any other G'nar Peths roaming the lands?"

[21:54] Angel says, "I don't see this many Moon Mages except outside the Guild in Crossing."

[21:54] Aaoskar says, "They are the most useful. they give us insight that can help everyone, whereas most of us focus on individual predictions to serve our own need."

[21:54] Angel says, "My husband Darkgaze is a Pethian."

[21:55] Aerathor says, "SO true and well said."

[21:55] Linkwurst says to Angel, "I wish to meet your husband sometime."

[21:55] Angel says, "If you see him about, tell him I told you to search him out."

[21:55] Aerathor says, "Hes at urn on occasion."

[21:55] Angel asks, "Are you wishing to become part of the Peths?"

[21:56] Linkwurst says, "I very much already am, but have not run into another since returning."

[21:56] Aerathor says, "Rare indeed. Not many are commited."

[21:56] Aaoskar says, "They were once abundant. i remember seeing so many gouging their eyes, at one time."

[21:57] Isharon dryly says to Linkwurst, "At least you did not say you haven't seen another."

[21:57] Angel says, "I am a Celestian myself, and of the House of the Grey Storm."

[21:57] Linkwurst says, "Endlessly seeking the Garden is exhausting and many fell along the way."

[21:57] Olave says to Linkwurst, "We should talk later."

[21:57] Aerathor says to Linkwurst, "When you get tired the Heritage is waiting."

[21:57] Angel says to Linkwurst, "Are you willing to give up your eyes?  Pethians carve out their own eyes."

[21:58] Aerathor says, "But they also say if you have trouble running into walls to keep them."

[21:58] Linkwurst says, "I will abandon the distractions of this world when I am ready, and not a moment before."

[21:58] Aaoskar says, "Not all do though. some think that the gouging of eyes is only necessary for those who are weaker in their craft."

[22:00] Digmo asks, "I meant to ask, have there been any recent attacks by the orcs?"

[22:00] Miskton says, "I had been making a habit of hosting similar discussions, although after a long period of stability in the web of fate there stopped being much to discuss on a regular basis."

[22:01] Angel says, "I agree."

[22:01] Linkwurst says, "I hunt them in Rossman's and have noticed a higher rate of infection from their wounds and found several cracked mirrors on them, but not seen them outside the hunting grounds."

[22:01] Angel says to Digmo, "There was and invasion recenlty, yes.  In Theren and down to Lang."

[22:02] Aerathor says to Angel, "Thankyou again, and say hello to your Husband for me. I don't know if you two recall but I was a novice and learned much from you two. kraggur, kreanth, mondmorder and  myself."

[22:02] Angel says, "Not within the last few days, but month, aye."

[22:02] Digmo asks, "They've crossed over into Riverhaven a few times as well, haven't they?"
