  1. [16:51:34] Atro Gwyn says, "Macha..."
  2. [16:51:34] LOOC - Macha: they dont need more forts but they need to be more spread apart))
  3. [16:51:34] Macha asks, "Hmm?"
  4. [16:51:34] Atro Gwyn says, "I forgot, blue mercury for... balancing, or so they say."
  5. [16:52:25] Atro Gwyn says, "Why do we use this dangerous metal again..."
  6. [16:57:32] Macha says, "Whilst there are certain metals that, when mana is channeled through, augments the mana channeled through it in terms of power..."
  7. [16:58:24] Macha says, "Blue mercury ameliorates one's reflexes and reaction."
  8. [16:58:24] Atro Gwyn says, "I hear it just balances the weapon."
  9. [16:58:24] Atro Gwyn says, "Sharper, hardly ever dull."
  10. [17:00:57] Atro Gwyn says, "Well... just drench it and we'll take distance and watch."
  11. [17:00:57] Atro Gwyn says, "Just the blade, not the guard."
  12. [17:01:48] Atro Gwyn says, "Or well, I hear molten cores of it act similar..."
  13. [17:04:22] Atro Gwyn says, "... I guess we can drench it all then I'll rid the poisonous properties."
  14. [17:04:22] Macha says, "Mmm..."
  15. [17:05:13] Macha asks, "You wish to place a core of it into the blade?"
  16. [17:06:04] Atro Gwyn says, "Blue mercury doesn't seem like a fitting core for me, personally."
  17. [17:06:04] Atro Gwyn says, "And what I want for this blade. We'll just drench it for... balancing they say."
  18. [17:06:04] Atro Gwyn says, "Somehow."
  19. [17:06:04] Macha says, "..."
  20. [17:06:56] Macha says, "Alright."
  21. [17:06:56] Atro Gwyn says, "Macha..."
  22. [17:06:56] Atro Gwyn says, "Magic isn't always to be understood."
  23. [17:06:56] Atro Gwyn says, "And I guess this metal is the same."
  24.
  25. [17:10:20] After the words, Atro hesitantly unsheathes the weapon, offering it forth the smith. Not for a second did his eyes leave the blade, keeping watch over the smooth blue hue that emanated an ethereal presence; releasing a calming aura.
  26.
  27. Holding the blade it seemed far more... light, keen than what was smithed. Even seemingly further bolstering than normal orichalcum; though not a hint of runes. "Right, I'll just use my tempest to remove the poison along with purification." He waves dismissively. "It's not that difficult, but still dangerous."
  28. (Atro Gwyn)

  30.
  31. [17:20:35] "...Well," Macha got up from her seat near her blacksmithing apparatus and sifted through her cabinets. A rather secure-looking container was taken out—complete with runic inscriptions to keep the contents of the material from leaking out.
  32.
  33. She placed the container into the centrifuge machine and it whirred to life, spinning it. Her hand hovered over the container as she isolated the poison and solidified it with flame manipulation.
  34.
  35. Of course, this didn't mean Atro c ouldn't do whatever he planned to do with the material as well.
  36.
  37. "We'll just do this one by the book, I guess."
  38. (Macha)

  41. [17:20:35] "...Well," Macha got up from her seat near her blacksmithing apparatus and sifted through her cabinets. A rather secure-looking container was taken out—complete with runic inscriptions to keep the contents of the material from leaking out.
  42.
  43. She placed the container into the centrifuge machine and it whirred to life, spinning it. Her hand hovered over the container as she isolated the poison and solidified it with flame manipulation.
  44.
  45. Of course, this didn't mean Atro c ouldn't do whatever he planned to do with the material as well.
  46.
  47. "We'll just do this one by the book, I guess."
  48. (Macha)
  49. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  50.
  51. [17:35:05] It took perhaps thirty minutes. She'd unhinge and undo the both physical and runic locks she had placed upon the container to titrate a vial of the blue mercury in the center—captured in a encirclement of its vile poisonous compounds.
  52.
  53. Clapping the container shut, she'd have to dispose of it somehow later on—or perhaps even give it to Maiya to utilize it as a poison compound or antidote of some sort.
  54.
  55. "Place the weapon here," she stated as a tray was taken out and sprawled across atop the anvil complete with vice grips at the ends to steady whatever it is the craftsman was fashioning at the time.
  56. (Macha)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [17:38:30] Compared to the rest, Macha held vast knowledge and technology.
  60.
  61. To see blue mercury distilled brought paused, ucnertainty but he slowly nods and does what's asked, placing the mythril-orichalcum weapon on the tray. He steps back, stilling eyeing the blue mercury in the vial.
  62.
  63. "How impressive Macha." Then looks towards the woman. "Your technological advancements hardly make you seem Gehenna."
  64. (Atro Gwyn)
  65. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  66.
  67. [17:44:28] "Live and learn, hmm? We spoke almost a decade ago of advancing whatever we have and to learn from the Valmasians. Not to mention, it's not like I haven't learned anything from the civilization that has long predated our arrival upon this continent."
  68.
  69. Her dainty hands whirled the container around a little bit before drawing from it with her mythril needle-pen-contraption that would be used to essentially solder the material on.
  70.
  71. "N'ghftephai f' ai, ymg' mgr'luh," ...the language she had uttered was guttural and almost lacking of any vowel sounds. It could almost be incomprehensible as she the consonant sounds left her mouth as she spoke in Agarthan.
  72.
  73. "They were quite interesting."
  74. (Macha)
  75. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  76.
  77. [17:48:44] The utterance of the unknown borught him to a complete halt.
  78.
  79. Words never heard before, uncertain if it was rune work- no? He rubs his head, scratching as the confusion ensues. He understood nothing, barely piecing together letter for the -words- language.
  80.
  81. "What was that..." He inquires, keeping watch over both Macha and the mythril needle. "Words from your tribe?" his only conclusion.
  82. (Atro Gwyn)
  83. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  84.
  85. [17:50:27] "My tribe? No, of the civilization that I've been studying, as I've stated," the demonologist elaborated as she continued to etch traces of blue mercury in fashionable, immaculate lines around the blade. It was a tedious process, probably broken up by their slight conversation.
  86.
  87. "My tribe speaks the common tongue," she remarked with a friendly smile.
  88. (Macha)
  89. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  90.
  91. [17:54:43] It was almost sickening to hear, bringing his features to contort. "So long as it doesn't spill dark magic about." He shakes his head. "I know little of it, of those before. Though Maiya's curse... something corrupt, perhaps the shape shifted demons too. Experimentations, insanity." He sighs.
  92.
  93. "And now that Tragedy tries to have people follow chaos. Its almost instinct to for some. Chaos is easy to fall to." He waves dismissively. "Perhaps easier for a yokai, demon, whatever..." and now he looks back to the blade.
  94.
  95. "Faster swings, keener strikes. It's, blue mercury that is. Then enchanting to bolster reflexes... truly odd."
  96. (Atro Gwyn)
  97. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  98.
  99. [18:00:41] "The Agarthans were masters of chaos, Atro. There is not much else I've learned of them other than the fact that they were the very epitome of utilizing shortcuts to power.
  100.
  101. Despite, of course, the very terrible side-effects and consequences of doing so."
  102.
  103. She giggled upon noticing Atro's reaction to the language. It wasn't every day you saw somebody get repulsed by the sound and manner of a language after all.
  104.
  105. After finishing up with the external circuit of blue mercury upon the blade, she took the remnants of the vial and poured it into the edges of the slab that she had placed the weapon on.
  106.
  107. Very soon, the liquid began to canalize the blue-silver mythril upon the slab, giving it a deep blue line moving towards the blade as it began to be evenly coated by the rest.
  108.
  109. "...and of course, maybe even the Catacylsm that had destroyed them was a result of pursuing that chaotic power, hmm?
  110.
  111. —also, this is probably the standard method of applying blue mercury that I've read. We'll use both enchantment and coating, I suppose."
  112. (Macha)
  113. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  114.
  115. [18:07:31] A deep frown set the more he learned of the Agarthans. What Caprise spoke of? To become them now. Atro releases a deep breath of air. "Caprise says that we should abandon ties to homelands and look towards these lands. To become Agarthans or whatever. In a way it helps with certain views, but in another no... it lets Valmasia do as they please morally in a sense."
  116.
  117. "Chaos, some see it as progression, but it is self-destructive, even when trying to balance it. It has no balance. The correct way is working with stability. To not stagnate to know what you're doing but not pursing dark means that bring ruin." His right index finger raises. "And I mean this for the sake of that person and those around them."
  118.
  119. He waves dismissively, continuing to watch the work. There was nothing from him to do except stare at the blue coating the blade. Creeping along the frame in it's own set of circuits on the blade.
  120.
  121. "Hm, alright, whatever works best. I am uncertain how thise metal-chemical works." He shrugs. "I can't do much right now.
  122. (Atro Gwyn)
  123. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  124.
  125. [18:10:04] "Well, in those times yonder, even your neighbour was looking for the right time to slit your throat at night, Atro. The demons had to find the most time-efficient method to power, and perhaps chaos was the answer. That, or their bodies were just naturally attuned to it. Mayhap even both?
  126.
  127. ...And I sincerely place my doubts over Caprise's knowledge of demonkind. He likely meant it in a way stating that it's very much unsustainable for individuals to be living in Agartha to benefit a country that's thousands of nautical miles away from our continent.
  128.
  129. Independence."
  130.
  131. Macha surmised, as she now watched alongside Atro as the blade was soaked in the blue-mercury from hilt to tip.
  132.
  133. "Now, we just wait, I suppose."
  134.
  135. (Macha)
  136. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  137.
  138. [18:17:45] Still uncertain he shrugs. "I do not know Macha, but whatever the case was, it lead to their ruin. That corruption that latched onto Maiya and Zahhual, it's a showing of that... why it was guarding a spire shard..." He taps his chin. "I don't know much on the case. Perhaps their remnants desire the shards or to linger close for power?" He shrugs again.
  139.
  140. "Caprise's words were for people to find clarity in themselves and not by their nation's own laws. That they are far away from home and should adapt, change, for betterment. Though Jianghu-" He waves his hand towards the window.
  141.
  142. "They've fallen from grace. Order is not with them, only chaos. They hold hands with evil, an evil which would betray again once power is gained." His hands drop down to his side. "And wait indeed... For the blade. For war? For change? To wait or spark... I truly do hate war."
  143. (Atro Gwyn)
  144. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  145.
  146. [18:22:01] "Ironically, the Jiangs will say the same about you and Caprise, Atro. Oyaotl and Cherub? Both are supposedly associated with the forces of chaos that assailed them long ago, working with Tragedy, nonetheless."
  147.
  148. And, there was no mention of Dmex who was demanded as well, considering the fact that both of them knew the girl... The blade sat in the purified blue mercury for a while now. Macha then hit some sort of switch and the contents of the mercury drained back into the vial, leaving the soaked blade to dry.
  149.
  150. "Perhaps you should really take one look with whom you're working with, as you've stated... Maiya, Zahhual..."
  151.
  152. She'd laugh slightly and shake her head.
  153.
  154. "Of course, that's not an excuse to work with Valmasia."
  155. (Macha)
  156. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  157.
  158. [18:26:17] "To those I work with I seek to change. I will have that church built without retort, and I will take any that are against it and battle them if need be." His hands grip tightly into fists and eyes burning with vigor.
  159.
  160. "I've been waiting to speak with Zahhual on the matter. I'm tired of waiting too." He waves his hand towards the door. "Oyaotl, I do need to speak with her, and cautious. The corruption rebels afterall, and Xomac is insane. Cherub is insane." He sighs and heads towards the door.
  161.
  162. "Let it dry, I hear bustling outside... A pain, lets go see to it."
  163. (Atro Gwyn)
  164. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  165.
  166. [19:08:06] The pair, likely with a bit of irritation etched across their demeanor, made their way back to the smithing apparatus at the top level of the Cruxati farmstead.
  167.
  168. There, Atro's blade would be resting, recently dried of its bath of blue mercury and soldered, azure ley lines.
  169.
  170. "...Well, give it a try, I guess," she'd remark as she unhinged the clamps over the weapon.
  171. (Macha)
  172. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  173.
  174. [19:14:56] Nothing.
  175.
  176. So much hustle and bustle, such a large crowd gathered in the ezmara dark woods.
  177.
  178. But nothing? No assault from Jianghese-Valmasia after making a threat, a claim. Nothing... Of course he's irritated, finding himself further with each thought of Valmasia.
  179.
  180. Yet oddly enough, the irritation calms quickly, relinquishing a sigh as they reach the upper level of the farmstead.
  181.
  182. "Right..." He dismisses the previous subject, grasping the blade within his hands.
  183.
  184. Ah - soothing to the touch, and balanced. "Alright." He grasps around the handle with both hands, raising the weapon over his head. Collecting air, inhale, exhaling he swings in a blur, leaving a trace of blue following the downward slash.
  185.
  186. Light, tempered, and enhancing magic. He looks over the weapon with surprise. "It's impressive..." That was all he could say. While he did work some magic before, now it seemed... complete? "Blue mercury is odd, but impressive." Glancing upwards he smiles towards Macha. "Thank you. Now I'll give it the name Urias." He declares then turns with satisfaction. "You can figure out what that means."
  187. (Atro Gwyn)
  188. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  189.
  190. [19:20:03] "With you? Probably something corny like a calm night-time sea where you gaze out upon for serenity, or something," as she spoke, she popped a cap over the vial of distilled blue mercury and slipped it into some safe stowage.
  191.
  192. Taking a cloth, she'd heat it and pour some sort of cleaning agent upon it and swipe the equipment that she had used quickly before sliding it into hiding.
  193.
  194. "Let me know if there's anything else you need," she replied, reciprocating the man's smile with a nod, "...we're in a bit of a mythril shortage in light of the northern caves being inaccessible and the Dark Hand hoarding the veins in their caves."
  195. (Macha)
