Roirrawa is like MIA for a few weeks, and I was wondering if I could re-activate starless (provided you dont play it currently). Would be happy to pay for it or w/e, nothing will be taken or missing and I will of course refund any respecs or repairs associated.

Miss a lot of you guys a whole bunch.

My account is still active (don't think i could ever bring myself to cancel it). I'm working three jobs atm though. I work the 4am-9am shift at ups. Then I cook sushi from 4-10 (or 12) every night but wed and thurs. I'm also doing youth ministry on the weekends.

You're of course welcome to my account. I'd love to tank for you guys as well but in terms of time... I could only be avail on wed/thurs, and I could talk to my boss about getting off at around 9 on either mon/tues/sun.

Well, that's neither here nor there. Anyway, thank you for the information - I think most of us had a pretty good inclination about you, sorry if we made it to be such a big deal, would it have been any different had you "Come clean" or something? Seriously people just got crazy emo over the whole "No Vent" thing, including myself, but partially cuz I wanted you to just get the whole "Heather" thing off your plate and see if the guild could accept that (or not, heh). But I guess in the end everyone was just so negative about everything things just had to come to a close.

I might call you some time, but I'm not sure, that could be a little weird, lol. I dont know what all heather knows etc but I dont feel it's my place to tell her, so if you're 'worried' about any of that, don't sweat it - haven't said a thing, just asked about a general wow question via e-mail (the one you registered the account on our forums with)

Question, as heather ever playing or was it always you?

I'll hook you up with the whole story if you want.

I started the account on a pos priest on a pve server with some friends of mine. Some shit went down between them and me (heather hooked up with one of them, not to place blame on her or anything, we both were fucking cheating on each other almost through the entirety of our relationship =/) and I ended up playing on FT on a pos rogue with another friend of mine. Heather wanted to try the game, so I made a toon for her, a priest, Lustrous.

The next day, she's like level 17, and my account had officially been hijacked lol. It was pretty okay with me though. I stopped playing for about 5 months and she kept going. She joined chosen, she started raiding. It was okay. She started getting bored though so we decided maybe we'd play together. We bought a second account (in her name) and she made a new toon, of the only class she felt competent in, a priest, Mirth. I made starless on my account.

Two weeks after she got Benedictine, she wanted to take a break, she was burned out and felt like she lost a lot of what mattered to her, her friends, her family, her sleep, everything. Chosen was raiding until 2 in the morning est time, 4 nights a week. So instead of having her take a break, I decided to play for her for a week or two. She didn't come back to raiding for prolly 7 months. By the time we downed nef the first time, it was me playing Lustrous. By the time we killed him every other time I was on Starless.

Over summer and winter, wow was the only way we could "see" each other. So she picked it up around those times. She liked playing low level alts better than mains, but I liked raiding more. I tried to get her back into raiding around the time of AQ40. We had just lost Vow and some other priests to Sweetfeet being a dick, and we were out of school for a few months, it seemed like a good time.

Her laptop couldn't handle the processing needed to play wow. Not on the video card or the cpu. She laged out a lot in raids. Especially twin emps, satura, the movement and graphic heavy fights.

So she started taking shit from the other priests and flat about being a shitty player. At that time she had leveled 2 priests to 60, one to mid 40s and she was being told she wasn't any good? If there's one thing about Heather and me, we don't like being mediocre. We give everything we do our all, and being told we're bad or whatever, sets us off, especially Heather, Cuban temper ftl.

When the expansion came out she started playing again. She just leveled though. She didn't wanna gear up and raid or anything (hence riding crop at level 70). I tried to get her to raid with you guys, but she wasn't really for that, she thought you'd be a lot like chosen.

So it was me on Starless all of the time. There was a period of about a month when I tried to get her to learn2warrior because we were gunna switch, but that never really took. She didn't want to learn a new class, and I had like beaten the wow enjoyment out of her. I always got real worked up over stupid shit, like if I wasn't getting healed I'd start yelling for heals and she'd be standing behind me on her laptop mashing the shit out of buttons, and then I'd die and we'd both go emo, and it was just no fun.

What would Heather not know? Her and I were together for almost 5 years, it's just been recently that we've stopped talking. And that tears me up. One of the main reasons why I'm not going back to OU, one of the main reasons why I'm keeping myself so busy, I don't need to sit around and deal with missing her and shit.

Anyways man, you're a good dude, you've always been. You gotta understand that at the point where I started playing I had two choices, either tell them that she's taking a break and deal with maybe not playing, or tell them nothing and keep playing. With Heather wanting to come back "soon" it wasn't a hard choice, but a month later it had cascaded. "I" had made a lot of good friends.

It's fine, sometimes people get stuck in shitty situations. I think the guild would have really loved for you to come clean on that, but I dont know - for whatever reason people really got upset all the time about things and seemed fairly solid at holding grudges. I just didn't know if heather knew you were 'pretending to be her', and didn't want to stir anything up that didn't need stirring.

Off topic : did you ever get a commendation of kael'thas? Several people are claiming you did, but I can't find it in your bank or bags. Also, you have a shitload of old/funky gear, lol. WTS bagspace PST. We'll likely have someone else playing starless, but it wont be anyone i wouldn't trust with my own account, I hope that's okay. It wont be for long either and I really appreciate your help in this situation.

On topic, it's fine, you dont have to apologize to me, it's refreshing to read all of this - did any of your in-game friends know?

My rl friends that were also in game friends knew. The people I considered in game friends, you lorenn wista cruix brie aurora all didn't know. I think most of you had a good idea though.

I know you guys would have wanted me to be straight about it. I would have as well. It was like to the point where I wasn't making real connections with in game people, because of these shininigans. And like I said, I'm sorry, but not just to you guys, like, to myself. I put myself through hell for 2 years or whatever and I'm sure at times I took it out on you.

Whoever you want to play it is fine. I don't think I'll be playing again, at least till the expansion or my schedule clears up. I'll keep on paying for it, the money isn't an issue anymore.

Like I said, I'll be back for the expansion, if you're around, maybe we could start back from square one or something? If not, server transfer. Lmao.

Friendly advice though Max, and take from it what you will, laugh if you want to at its abstractness, get it tatood on your chest, whatever. It's one of the very few things I've learned in my life. I've learned it from wow (twice) my relationship with Heather (once) and my tenure at OU. Don't let anything steal your soul. Nothing in life is worth destroying who you are.
