ESA/BSG Afterthoughts and upcoming Plans

With now ESA2017 and BSGAnnual beeing over I thought I take some time to write down my thoughts and feelings. Aswell as my plans for the future. I try to be as short as possible (#ThisIsNotGoingToWork).

ESA2017
It was my 2nd time attending a big marathon like this. First of all the roadtrip with Crrool and SevenS1ns was not that bad after all, even though I was happy when I arrived home. But I dont think my legs already covered from that trip. Food was great and it was so good to meet old people like the FF Speedrun Boys & Girls aswell as my BSG Friends. I also met new people like Javi and his crew. Man what a sausage #OpieOP
When attending a marathon like this it's always a pleasure to run something. This time ... man what THE FUCKING HELL. My FF1 Run ... I did not expect to win the Race, maybe the Hellfire Chasm. And to be fair I haven't practice as much as I wanted to (due to RL problems) but that what happend during my run I did not deserve.
Everyone who begs to differ cant go fuck himself, seriously. I understand that FF1 has a lot of RNG but Almost every tournament match, the FFRelay Race and this Run at ESA was so attrocious.

ESA was great afterall and I cant wait for next year.


BSGAnnual2017
BSG was different to ESA. First and formost: I'm one of the Staff Members so I was helping with a lot of the preparations, such as the schedule and other stuff. I really enjoyed it and I feel this event was such a HUUUGE sucess. Its great to see a marathon growing up and beeing a part of it. I had so much fun hanging around with the people (with one person in particular ;) )
Food was great #KapsalonKreygasm
This time I was involved infrontt of the cam four times.
As a commentator for KH2FMHD and for Final Fucktasy 1 #OpieOP I think I did great and both but thats up to the runners to decide. Now the two runs I did.
Addams Family AllBosses% that run went okay~ish for the fact that I was still rusty it was not to shabby. The FurnaceClip Showcase wasnt an incentive in the first place and didnt really practice that at all but was still enjoyable I think. I rewatched the run and felt I did some good commentary on there.
My 2nd Run Dissidia Prologue% + 2 Character Stories. Light shall bring justice. And I hope you guys get what youu deserve #Kappa
That I had to run WoL was obvious especially after that attrocious run at ESA. But apüperantly I not only PB'ed I also got WR (which was not a suprise since I'm the only runner for the category #OpieOP) But it was actually really fun.
The second story (Tidus) went okay~ish but I really wanted to PB/WR in that aswell. Oh well better luck next time. After all BSG was an amazing event and I cant wait to work again with all those people :)



Upcoming Plans and stuff:
Even though streams were already very irregular startin next week I dont see this is going to change. I'm switching workplaces (and I have to drive longer to work and back home) Depending and how much free energy I have I try to do as many streams as I can. Especially since I now have someone else who I need to take care off ;)

Anyways I decided to set down my speedrun plans to a minimum of 2. Which is not to much but still enough variety.
I'm gonna start working on Dissidia again. Not sure which categories first. But probably any% and 100% at some point.
I also wanna learn a new game called FF2 (thanks to crrool for running this game at BSG). Lets see how this turns out.

With that beeing said I hope I can keep up my plans and I hope to see you around :)
