So many were clearly looking for a reason they could discount all of this prima facie, without any investigation. Which is why so many pronounced that the first thing they thought of was some stunning rebuke. IE their view of a certain historical period or a few countries, or the first google result they could get paired with their own incredulity about the issue (Africans cant have an IQ of 70, that would be retarded! Legally yes, but retardation is more complex than that, it's more akin to saying Africans are children)
