Survivor: Carson Perkins[/center]

Survivor Carson Perkins, who used to work in the research department of Ice Colony reported to research at the USS Almayer for an interview on the knowledge about the hostile alien creatures at the colony.

Carson reports, that the aliens are a silicon based life form. They live like a hive, similair to bees, but are much more complex. They have a queen and are natural killers

Their physiology is very resistant to cold, heat and are capable of surviving the vacuum of space.

They are capable of spitting acid and emit acid clouds as a weapon. They also produce a matter called weed which Carson reports as "dark strange stuff, it's kind symbiotic with them, healing  them. Helping them to regenerate". The nests are built from the same material.

They also use other species to reproduce, like a parasite. Their early stage is a crab like creature, which is capable of inserting the parasite into another lifeform. The parasite uses the lifeforms organs to grow, and at the time of maturation, it will burst out of the chest and kill the host.

Carson speculates, that the aliens are somehow able to communicate among themselves.

Carson survived by hiding in a security locker, whereas the aliens didn't notice their presence. Until Carson got escorted by a marine to the USS Almayer.
