- Determine if your router supports captive portal functionality: Not all routers support captive portal functionality, so check your router's user manual or manufacturer's website to see if this feature is available.
- Log in to your router: You will need to access your router's configuration page to create a captive portal. Open your web browser and type in your router's IP address, which can usually be found on the bottom of the router or in the user manual. Enter your router's username and password to log in.
- Set up a guest network: Create a new Wi-Fi network for guests by going to the Wi-Fi settings in your router's configuration page. Make sure to enable password protection on the guest network so that only authorized users can access it.
- Create a landing page: Create a simple webpage that guests will be directed to when they connect to your guest Wi-Fi network. Then you can add links.
