Agree, wholeheartedly, with everything you say.
I have espoused exactly this for years, BUT, those national environments that appear to be locking their poor citizens in? I have the distinct impression that they are attempting to lock us out.

Now, if we made some attempt to consider their culture and respect the differences, instead of being the tools for corporate government invasion, perhaps they might not mind associating with us. Perhaps if we cleaned up our own national environments first?

The last thing I want my wife, girlfriend, daughter, sister, being hit with when they go shopping for lingerie on-line, is a pop-up supplying access to "Teenage Sluts".
Do we really imagine a conservative Islamic environment sees a need to participate in that definition of KULCHA?

Perhaps if we had something to offer in the association our neighbours would be prepared to associate with us?
Perhaps if we had a little more to extend than an on-line emporium of beads, mirrors, tomahawks and paedophile rings in return for Iran's 4.2 million barrels of daily oil production, they might consider that we might be worth associating with.
