Everything in Minecraft is pretty much a timesink with no challenge or actual mechanics involved. The graphics and sound are all total shit (lel the textures are like 16x16 developer textures). The combat relies on pressing one button over and over. EVERYTHING relies on pressing one button over and over. There's no story or characters to speak of, and no real reasons to keep playing the game as it has very few mechanics (and even less interesting ones) and everything is randomly generated anyway.
Basically, it feels cheap. It feels unfinished. And that's exactly what Minecraft is. An unfinished tranwreck of a "game".
