THE ROLE:  Solutions Architect



The Solutions Architect is a hands-on technical role focused on the design, build and deployment of A+E’s systems and global infrastructure. Your primary objective is to work with various A+E technology teams, gathering requirements and guiding the development activities for A+E projects. In addition to guiding development teams, this role is responsible for conducting research on existing systems and devising solutions that work within those systems. You will need to meet directly with various teams to demonstrate solutions, answer questions regarding capabilities and requirements, and work to resolve issues that arise during projects. Solution demonstration may require you to build proof of concepts of existing market solutions or inhouse developed. Your day-to-day will consist of supporting and collaborating with teams from Broadcast Operations & Engineering, Application Development, Cyber Security, Infrastructure Services, Technology Operations, and more. Key responsibilities include documenting solution designs, collaborating with cross functional teams, lead project development teams, manage external vendors, research emerging technologies and identifying where they apply to A+E.??

Establish and continually improve A+E Architecture Frameworks, Standards and Best Practices
Support Project Management activities to ensure that resources, risk recognition, and planning stay aligned with solution goals.
Work with Engineering and Development teams to ensure solutions are being built based on designs.
Participate in technology selection activities.
Review various processes and workflows to make recommendations on process improvements as well as technology improvements.
Participate in Architecture Review Board sessions to approve solutions and approve changes in architecture.
Participate in service management processes including but not limited to: incident management, major problem reviews, change management, and continual improvement
Interact with technical leaders to develop innovative solutions that meet company and market needs with respect to availability, functionality, performance, reliability, repeatability, and scalability.
Analyze business and technical requirements to determine system designs, potential risks and issues, and related costs for each project request, all based on best practices.
Research, prototype, and inform on emerging technologies and tooling to improve the operability and user experience.

YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)



Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent job career experience.
Cloud Solution Architect certification is a plus – Azure/ Amazon AWS/ Google.
Experience with Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF).
Experience with IT infrastructure and cloud development.
Experience with Project and product management.
Experience in CI/CD Framework with tools such as TeamCity, Go, Nuget, Chef, Jenkins and GitHub.
Experience with Media and Entertainment solutions a plus.
Deep knowledge of technology, SOA, agile methodology.
Eight (8) years of working experience in one or multiple IT areas.
Excellent Communication Skills.
Deep analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively while leading various projects.
