  5. Character Name: Vale
  6.
  7. Skill you're applying for: Custom Buff
  8.
  9. Why are you applying for this skill: To tie in the more civil side of my character with a more savage combat style, to align him more with how he used to be before becoming EG. This was on a whim, and if denied It won't hurt me any. Just had nothing to do in the immediate, and thought it would be cool. Buff would be more focused on offense than anything, shirking reflexes to go for more pinpoint -for the kill- attacks. :)
  10.
  11. RP:
  12. A throbbing silence filled the flat scape that made up his lookout. A somber silence tearing through the air like butter, unnerving him more than anything. Sure, in the past silence felt like home. But now he was always looking forward to disaster, which would always follow. A sigh slipped past his no longer tanned lips, a pale sheen taking it's place. His tongue would slide out over his lips as he looked around the empty platform sighing.
  13.
  14. An older man was once here. Teaching him. Civilizing him. Not that he was a savage, but his mannerism were much more poor before he came here. And he had a different style of doing things. His actions were more feral. And because of that, and his short but effective upbringing. Something new had come from it. Something more interesting, coordinated. Or so he believed anyway.
  15.
  16. A fighting style was instilled into him. A calm and focused, meticulous fighting style. Taking your time to suss out your opponent, and striking at their vulnerable points. While keeping up your guard. But it really didn't suit him. He was the type to drop all pretense of defending himself, and go for the throat.
  17.
  18. And overtime, he simply incorporated what he was taught into his own fighting style. Though it wasn't as refined as his teachers, he figured it would suffice. It was more advanced than what most on this planet could come up with. Or at the very least more advanced than common practitioners of combat. Those more advanced in fighting would pick up on the flaws, and tear this style apart. It worked non the less.
  19.
  20. Pushing himself off the tiled floor he'd stand. But not at his full erect height, no. His body would stay crouched low to the ground, his fingertips separated a mere inch from it as he hunched his upper body low. His eyes were faced straight, and his hands were arched in a way that his fingertips were in upward pointed claws. Holding his body in this stooped position; he would lunge forward and sweep his hands outward, clawing at the mid air. Soon after clawing the air, he would hook the right side of his hips outward in a forward lunge. This in turn was followed by a more powerful claw strike, at what he would imagine to be his 'opponents' ankles, the momentum from his previous movement carrying him with much more force.
  21.
  22. He repeated these actions, throwing low kicks, into high kicks into him just spitting at where one would presume a human's eyes would be. And though his actions were barbaric, dirty fighting if you would. It was all very well maintained, with proper balance and planned motions, a rather amusing choreography, if one were to be viewing from the outside in.
  23.
  24. A few hours into his daily practice, sweat would coat his brow, audible panting replacing the silence as heated breath slipped from his paling lips. Wiping his brow with his left hand he would move to rest, kneeling and crossing his legs his eyes closing as he meditated. This would take the edge off, and prepare him for any future encounters.
  25.
  26. The battle with that Saiyan. Or at least presumed Saiyan, he had a tail after all really put him in a mood. He wanted to battle more, but at the same time wanted to relax. It was an odd balance he had to do his best to meet. Stifling a yawn he'd flop backward onto the tiled floor, staring up at the ever so close sky. Closing his eyes slowly he began to drift into slumber.
