  1. [20:57] It took a lot of pain and injuries to get there, but when the correct sequence was put in the group finally would see... trembling. A shift in the structure as if it had been waiting for them for years upon years. Something immense had been hiding under their feet.
  2.
  3. ".. What the... fuck?"
  4.
  5. Kofe said to himself. His eyes shifting around the room to try and take in every details as well as to find a place to hide when the ceiling would collapse.
  6.
  7. Except it didn't.
  8.
  9. Doors were opened and something... with a rhythm awaited them deeper into the abyss.
  10.
  11. As if drawn by it, the young man moved towards the opened door where the wind came from. His heart was worn out on his sleeve and the rhythm of his own life could be heard coming from his very core; a quiet hum followed his steps.
  12. (Kofe)
  13. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  14. [21:04] {NARRATION} It doesn't take long for the first beginnings of this strange place to show themselves. The trek through the dark is deafening, save for the echo of their footfalls and voices, the caverns edges barely visible at the far reaches of their torches' lights.
  15.
  16. A whispers on the terrible breeze that by no means should exist down here, a voice that cries out in pain-
  17.
  18. "Why have you come..." it begs to know...
  19.
  20. "Why have you undone-... the seal..." it sounds pained, as if these words are all it can muster.
  21.
  22. "Doomed... doomed yourselves... do not march further... do not..."
  23.
  24.
  25. [21:08] To learn. To know more. To discover and see the truth for what it was. That's why Kofe was there, wasn't he? The rhythm of his heart remained as clear as ever—” louder, even. Notes floated forth, echoing across the caverns in every direction in an attempt to... transmit that.
  26.
  27. He had his heart on his sleeve and his thoughts were more often than not spoken right away. This gentle hum, this song of a heart, surely would be able to transmit those heartfelt thoughts. Communication through those notes that floated their way in every direction.
  28.
  29. To learn.
  30.
  31. It was likely that Kofe's melody wouldn't be one that that voice could understand, but it remained true.
  32. (Kofe)
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. [21:20] {NARRATION} "Please... don't..." it begged.
  36.
  37. But the Rhoynish continued on bravely, ready to face what they had unlocked. The pathway opened up far enough that the deeper chambers they were entering were now larger than those lights could reach.
  38.
  39. Along the way, Basten stepped downward to hear a loud CRUNCH! underneath his boot. Turning his gaze to the floor, he would notice he had stepped upon a skull, a human skull, now turned to brown dust by his step.
  40.
  41. Bringing the rest of the group's attention to this, they would soon realize they were standing amidst a graveyard of skeletons, many of which had golden and silver arm bands still resting around their decayed limbs.
  42.
  43. "Come to see your ghosts?" the voice asked again, this time no longer ragged or pained, but firm, almost boastful. "You should know they died in agony. Starvation. Thirst. The lucky ones were picked apart-
  44.
  45. Piece. By. Piece."
  46.
  47. A laugh came forward, one spawned not from the lips of a human, but a shadow that revealed itself. Gliding over the cavern floor, the red eyed figure emerged, long black hair falling across his baren back. He smiled, revealing a row of sharpened teeth.
  48.
  49. Upon his arm was another band, one shining and gold, not tarnished by whatever curse this ethereal being held.
  50.
  51. "I'll make sure you join them before I tell the others that the way is open. Though they should have already recognized it. /Time is moving again/."
  52. [21:25] The song of his heart wouldn't reach the voices, neither would it reach the cursed, lost spirit that stood before them. His unspoken words were nothing but gibberish to those who's hearts weren't open to it, that much he realized. A song without lyrics. Left unfeeling, unwanted. There was much work to do to be able to reach others on a sentimental level with his music, to quell the thirst the denizens of Helheim had. To purify. To find an end different to his ancestors.
  53.
  54. Nonetheless, Kofe's hands rose up and his rifle was brought out. One eyes went shut while the other adjusted his mark.
  55.
  56. His words may not have been heard, but the shot towards that beast's head would be impossible to ignore.
  57. (Kofe)
  58. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  59. [21:41] {Won Dangerous RPB against Nethradin Spawn}
  60. [21:50] {NARRATION} The living Rhoynish charged ahead into this shade, a creature that had definitely crawled out of some nightmare down in these earthen depths. That unnatural wind picked up again, this time focused around the spirit.
  61.
  62. Time seemed to slow down and pick up again on a whim, this creature's proximity to them almost decaying their own skin and age into something far more ancient and dead. Fortunately no one was caught directly in his temporal blasts.
  63.
  64. Though they avoided the curses of time, Basten fell right into the Nethradin's sights as he unleashed and howling torrent of air, a blast powerful enough to chuck the warrior into a nearby stone, breaking some of Basten's ribs in the process and causing some internal harm.
  65.
  66. Khiora managed to land a particularly brutal blow upon the shadow, opening up a window where Penelope could finish it off...
  67. [21:54] An unfortunate dance for the beast cloaked in darkness. Neither the sands of time nor the violent gusts were enough to shield it from the assault of those who had learned from their ancestors. Still, a victory was not one that would go without a lesson learned.
  68.
  69. Kofe was far from the man he thought he was. If a beast was deaf to his songs, then what good were they? Lessons learned in victories were rare, but this one allowed this young man to realize that some beasts could not be reasoned with.
  70.
  71. ... For now, at least.
  72.
  73. He quietly watched as Penelope took care of the cleanup down aisle three.
  74. (Kofe)
