- Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Auto-Splitter Rules and Information
- Due to closing argument text sections being different lengths for everyone with no explainable cause, we decided to create an auto-splitter for this game. Runs must use some version of the auto-splitter when running the game to be competitive on the leaderboards. Runs that do not use the auto-splitter will automatically be put below runs that do.
- For those of you that are unfamiliar with how to use the auto-splitter, save it somewhere on your computer, open up livesplit, right click and go to edit layout, then click the plus sign and under control click scriptable auto splitter, then either double click that or go to layout settings, go to the scriptable auto splitter tab then click browse and go to where you saved the file then click ok and restart livesplit. Then right click livesplit and under compare against, click game time. Instead of clicking game time there, you can also just add another timer that shows the game time in the edit layout screen (click the plus sign, add a timer, then go into layout settings, click the timer tab and under timing method, click game time).
- The game time timer will pause during load-times and closing argument text to make runs more equal for everybody. Both versions of the auto-splitter have this. If using the version that only pauses during loads disregard the rest of the paste.
- ==== PLEASE DISREGARD ANYTHING BELOW THIS LINE AS OF NOW, THIS VERSION IS NOT CURRENTLY WORKING ====
- If using the auto-splitter that starts and splits for you:
- For Individual Trial Runs you only need one split for the end of the trial.
- For All Trial Runs you need 11 splits total:
- One split for Trial 1 End and two splits for every other trial (Trial 2 Start, Trial 2 End... etc) You can name your splits whatever you want but it should look something like this: http://puu.sh/zGVME/37c6cf7311.png
- For New Game runs you need 25 splits total (still not fully tested yet):
- One Split for Prologue End which will split when you receive the present for the prologue
- Four Splits for each chapter except for Chapter 6:
- A Daily Life split that will split when the Deadly Life screen appears (Chapter 6 does not need this)
- A Deadly Life split that will split upon hitting finish preparations for that trial
- A Trial split that will split when the grade screen for the trial appears
- An End split that will split when you receive the present at the end of the chapter
- One Split for the Epilogue End which will split when the credits start
- Your splits can be named whatever you want but it should look something like this at the end: http://puu.sh/zH0Sy/e01b55dab4.png
