  1. Welcome to #havvy, the personal channel of Havvy, no matter what his prefix is. You might have seen him with the following prefixes:
  2.
  3. Emotional, Immortal, Just, Overseer
  4.
  5. You might ask, who am I? Well, who I am can be defined in two ways. It can be defined personally by looking at my goals or it can be defined in a more communal context by looking at my network of relationships. Since IRC is a method of communication, I shall start with the communal definition.
  6.
  7. -- Communal definition of Havvy --
  8.
  9. I am friends with most people, but of special note is Bell, \, Ribbit, the IRC OPs, Jordan (nadroj), Corin, newk, H4GH33K, and randomguy142. There is also Blueline on another server, and all the Moznet guys who are awesome.
  10.
  11. I am an IRC OP on that server, so that means that I will punish you if you step out of line with the Mibbit server rules (basically don't do illegal stuff) if I catch you before Kitsune, though Kitsune is one fast IRC OP. I have op in #chat, #mibbit, and #help and can do anything on the wiki that doesn't require access to the actual files. I own #havvy, though I am not strict about what occurs in there, though I have been known to kick somebody if they are getting completely out of hand. I think I have op in #isa but I don't use it.
  12.
  13. I hang out in the following places:
  14. irc.mibbit.net: #chat #dnd #freethought #havvy #help #isa #mibbit <mod and IRC OP channels>
  15. irc.coldfront.net: #csn #nsa <alliance private channel>
  16. irc.mozilla.org: #firefox #foxymonkies
  17.
  18. Further, I lurk on http://mises.org/ and I suggest that you read some of the books you can download there, along with the daily articles. Especially, I suggest that you read "Human Action" by Ludwig von Mises, "The Ethics of Liberty" by Murray A. Rothbard, the article titled "Middle of the Road Policy Leads to Socialism" by Ludwig von Mises. The Government is not an entity of good or neutrality.
  19.
  20. I have an image of me wearing a wreath, and an image of me next to food. Both were taken at my local library.
  21.
  22. -- Internal definition of Havvy --
  23.
  24. So, who am I internally then? I am an intellectual. I care more for the knowledge of the worlds than I care about the worlds themselves. I can live in abstracted societies and am forced to live in the concrete one known as real life. I study many topics of interest. Praxeology, the study of human action, along with psychology gives me an excellent understanding of behaviour. I believe that everybody should study these two fields, and because I believe that, I believe there is not much economic advantage in only knowing those areas. As such, I also study technology and will be a programmer. I'm not very good at coding, and I have a lot to learn, but I will work hard at it, and I will earn a living through it.
  25.
  26. Religiously, I am agnostic. I know people who are satanists (worship the devil kind), hinduist, and pagan. I don't exactly get along well with Christians, even if I never tell them I am not one. Maybe it is because most Christians are that merely by birth, and not by virtue of study, and I try to hang around those who study on their own accord. I won't argue with you over your religion (heck, if you have any non-Christian/Jewish/Mormon/Islamic resources that can be read in less than an hour, I'll read it.) unless you try to preach it to others who don't want it.
  27.
  28. Finally, I am an ethical person. The axiom of my ethics? Don't commit aggression. No, this is not pacifistic, for self defense and retribution (as long as you follow the theory of proportionality) are allowed by it. Do I always follow it? If you count a loophole where I allow retribution for poking (you can poke me back), then I do.
  29.
  30. Morally, I have little. Don't cause drama, don't lie, and only curse for dramatic and purposeful effect. You won't see me throwing random curse words around or saying "FML", though I won't stop you from doing so, unless there are rules saying you can't.
  31.
  32. -- Physical Description of Havvy --
  33.
  34. I live in Washington (the state, not the city), but that is immaterial other than the fact that my time zone is Pacific Standard. No, I don't know the UTC offset for that. It is 3 hours prior to EST (the time zone of New York (and Washington, the city).
  35.
  36. I am a triplet. I don't say it often. I sort of has a strong disdain for my real family.
  37.
  38. I define myself physically not just as my physical looks, but also of my material things. They are merely an extension of my body. But I have brown hair, and it is growing a bit long. It looks black when wet. I stand at 172cm (5'10" for you who have not yet converted to metric) and weigh in a daintly 57kg (125lb) making me extraordinarily skinny. I used to wear T-Shirts with sayings on them, but have now been wearing oversized shirts with collars and pleasing to the eye patterns. Some even have buttons! I like green, but hate red. Also, in public, I wear a brown Carhart jacket that my dad bought for me, though I lost the hood. I am always wearing blue jeans.
  39.
  40. Materialistically, I have my coat described above, and in it, I have my Casio fx-300 series calculator, a glass box of dice, and a deck of cards that has a yellow paper surrounding it saying "All shall fear my cheap crappy gift of doom." I got it as a white elephant, and the packaging is better than the gift, which is a deck of playing cards with the back being the US Army. "All shall fear" and "of doom" refer the the US army. "cheap crappy" refers to the usual condition of cards, especially when they are a "gift". It also says Rawr and Meow on it.
  41.
  42. Other than that, I have my dying laptop, which I rarely use, and avoid surfing the web on for more than 5 minutes at a time (less it turns off on me!) I've gone back to using the home computer now that my brother also got a laptop and isn't on it 24-7.
  43.
  44. I have never broken a bone, though my ears are extremely messed up with swimmer's ear. My thumb can swivel 250 degrees (70 degrees to the left).
  45.
  46. I am 17, but I'll be 18 on the 28th of August.
  47.
  48. -- Physical Description of #havvy --
  49.
  50. Now, you might be asking, what is #havvy? #havvy is a mental landscape. You enter and part through the Doors of Liberty. When you enter, you come up on Blarameble (Blar-am-e-ble) Forest, and specifically upon the Tranquil Clearing, a small clearing with a circular shape and a diameter of 15 meters. The Doors of Liberty are at the southern section of the clearing. To the Northwest is an apple tree, apparently different from the rest of the trees for it gives fruit and doesn't have multicolored flowers growing on it. Even the clearing has a few meter high flowers. At the based of the apple tree is a thick cloth that looks (and is) soft to sit on. On the East side of the clearing is a dirt path. It leads to Seer's lake. A dirt path recently appeared near the apple tree. It leads North, and the location it goes to is visible from the Doors of Liberty. It is a tall rustic tower, 1.5km away.
  51.
  52. Seer's lake is a simple lake. It has nothing to do with being a seer, but it does have lillypads on it, anywhere from a diameter of 1cm to 1m. Each lillypad holds a total of 100kg of weight each, no matter the size.
  53.
  54. The rustic tower has an opening at the base, and on the inside it is mostly filled with hay, but there is a ladder to the left of the entrance. The ladder goes all the way to the top, but along the way all that is visible is support beams. It is mostly hollow. At the top is a floor with windows and at the top is a large bell that has yet to ring.
  55.
  56. A lot of the land is unexplored, so feel free to add extra items and paths. The apple tree comes from Ribbit. The name of the forest comes from a secret. A few might be able to unlock the reason it was named the way it was, but I shall give no hints, for it has been disallowed.
  57.
  58. If you ever read the Planan Handbook of DnD, it is divinely morphic.
  59.
  60. -- The Immortality of Havvy --
  61.
  62. Immorality is not given, it is earned. Still, much thought has been given to how it works, and this is the current theory:
  63.
  64. My mind is itself a plane. It knows only what universes it has come in contact with, and it had an initial manifestation of input and output on this current universe. If I wish to, I can remove the various inputs, and I fully control the output. Part of my control of input is to make sure that the inputs are only indirect, and that full access to my processing is blocked. The control from my planar mind to my physical manifestation includes planar strings, not unlike a puppet. These strings travel through long and dangerous to travel through planes, where only strings may go through, and only in certain one-way patterns.

  66. -- For Wikia People --
  67.
  68. I will, at times, create redirects on your wikia when I believe they are useful. I find these pages that need redirects manually, by using your wiki and not using links.
  69.
  70. For austrianeconomics.wikia, I cannot write research papers easily or have fun doing it, but I can see what is missing.
  71.
  72. For irchelp.wikia, I can only write articles for it on certain computers (or rather, I cannot write articles on the computer I use the most). This is because wikia crashes my POS laptop. Feel free to write articles on there explaining what IRC is. The article does not have to be technical. In fact, a mix of technical and non-technical articles would be best. Only add references when references would help the person reading it. This wiki is not a wiki from which you can write term papers from.
  73.
  74. For dungeons.wikia, raise your point in the proper channel: #dnd
  75. If you point doesn't have to do with dungeons.wikia, then, well, raise it in #havvy
  76.
  77. I know that Wikia has a web:irc client that connects to Freenode. I boycott Freenode because they block the web:irc client I wish to use, making entry into the server not-so-free. As such, I suggest that if an IRC channel is used for a project, it should not be on that server.

  81. << These are my comments >>
  82.
  83. Society lives and acts only in individuals; it is nothing more than a certain attitude on their part. Everyone carries a part of society on his shoulders; no one is relieved of his share of responsibility by others. And no one can find a safe way out for himself if society is sweeping towards destruction. Therefore everyone, in his own interests, must thrust himself vigorously into the intellectual battle. None can stand aside with unconcern; the interests of everyone hang on the result. Whether he chooses or not, every man is drawn into the great historical struggle, the decisive battle into which our epoch has plunged us.
  84.
  85. Economics must not be left to esoteric circles. It is the philosophy of human life and action and concerns everybody and everything. It is the pith of civilization and of man's human existence. There is no means by which anyone can evade his personal responsibility. Whoever neglects to examine to the best of his abilities all the problems involved voluntarily surrenders his birthright to a self-appointed elite of supermen. In such vital matters blind reliance upon 'experts' and uncritical acceptance of popular catchwords and prejudices is tantamount to the abandonment of self-determination and to yielding to other people's domination. As conditions are today, nothing can be more important to every intelligent man than economics. His own fate and that of his progeny is at stake.Very few are capable of contributing any consequential idea to the body of economic thought. But all reasonable men are called upon to familiarize themselves with the teachings of economics. This is, in our age, the primary civic duty.Whether we like it or not, it is a fact that economics cannot remain an esoteric branch of knowledge accessible only to small groups of scholars and specialists. Economics deals with society's fundamental problems; it concerns everyone and belongs to all. It is the main and proper study of every citizen.
  86.
  87. --Ludwig von Mises
  88.
  89. Never ever, ever delegate responsibility for your own safety.
  90. Never ever, ever your own experience and common sense on the say-so for some self-appointed "expert" << which includes me! >>.
  91. Never ever, ever ignore what your eyes see because it isn't what you imagined. And strive to know the difference between what your eyes are seeing and what your brain in adding.

  95. You know you are an anarchist when even your programs are stateless.
